Location was wonderful, only 10 minutes from Pile Gate from the hotel by bus. View from the room was amazing, good food variety. Spa was nice. Staff was nice

Food was sometimes too dry. We were staying in room 413 on the last floor and we could hear the main AC system cooler from the rooftop, even during the night. It was a bit disturbing. The steam room was broken during our whole stay Furniture was a bit old, mattresses could be better

Hotel Uvala has a great location - beach(rocky) is very close, bus to the old town leaves from the front of the hotel, restaurants promenade only few minute (~7min) walk away. There is a nice hiking trail close by up the hill, good views.Hotel is close to everything you need but still in a quiet neighbourhood. Buffet breakfast was great - good selection of bread, spreads for toast, pancake machine. Did not try dinner buffet since many restaurants are nearby. Sea view room had a very nice view over Lapad bay. The room had mostly everything you need and cleaning service was good. Employees were friendly and kind. Massage treatment was great. It seemed better than most of the hotels around same area.

Hotel is a bit outdated but still fair. Pool and indoor pool did not look very appealing - did not use them. Pictures of the pool make it seem nice, but it was not inviting in reality - went to beach instead. If you want to use the bubbles in jaccuzzi - you have to inform the employee and ask. There was sand in jaccuzzi and the edges of the bath looked quite dirty. There was a strong specific smell in the hotel- maybe some cleaning supply but it was pretty strong throughout whole stay. Room was overall okay but the teal coloured wall felt a bit out of place. Breakfast coffee was not too great.

The clean and quiet indoor swinming pool abd jacuzzi The staff in the spa was courtious. The breakfast and dinner were good and varied. The hotel is clean. The room terrace overlooked a beautiful view of lapad. There was a kettle in the room. The hotel is near a bus stop of bus 4 to Pile gate.

They charge 6 euro a bottle of water and do nit provide tap water which is outragiuous consieribg the fact that a cooled water bottle cost up to a euro at every shop.

Views from the room are spectacular. Room itself was really clean and enjoyed the balcony and fridge in room. Staff really friendly and helpful. Spa was lovely, would recommend the massage and the hot tub. 2 pools, indoor & outdoor, both lovely. Restaurant was really tasty and plentiful buffet for both breakfast & dinner. Really close to the beach and lovely restaurants/bars. Bus outside the door brings you directly into the old town for €2.50 each way and only took around 15 mins. Airport transfer was significantly cheaper than getting a taxi.

The shower was combined with the bath and the step into it was really high to get into.

The staff were so nice. Our room was nice and big. Comfy bed and lots of storage.The breakfast was the same everyday but it had an average buffet choice. The bar stayed serving until 11pm but you could order and stay in the comfy seating area as long as you wanted to.The out door pool was cold, so it was great to have an indoor pool to use. Not alot of sun beds, we were fine as we travelled in May, so not sure of the sunbed setup in the height of summer. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Uvala and would definately go back.

The bathroom - It had a bath with a shower in it and the climb in was quite high.

Fantastic location and views. Lovely big room with spacious balconies. Lovely terrace to have breakfast.

Not enough sunbeds around the pool and guests would save their own by putting a towel on it before they used it. Sunbeds around pool face the hotel and not the view...pity. AC in my room was not cooling well. Furniture and electric sockets all need upgrading. Very few sockets in room and some did not work. Breakfast had a good variety but fruit selection could be fresher and more varied...it was pretty sad. Generally the hotel had a tired feel to it. Hotel taxi transfer was ordered for 4.00 am to take my son to airport but it came 20 minutes late.

Good location - easily accessible from the Old Town by the number 4 bus (which stopped right outside the hotel). Good access to shops and restaurants about 10-15 minutes walk away and close to the beach promenade. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Good selection of fruit and cold cuts for breakfast. Dinner buffet was excellent! Very clean hotel. Swimming pool was excellent and view of the sea from the bedroom balcony was magnificent!

Sausages and bacon at breakfast were not that warm. However, the rest of the breakfast was very good!

The room was large, with a good sized bathroom and a great view over the bay from the two sets of balcony doors. . All the staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast and evening meals had plenty of variety to suit all tastes. The wellness center was good and the prices were fair. There is a No.4 bus that stops outside the hotel and goes direct to the Old Town in 15 minutes, for a cost of 2 Euros per person, although it is a pleasant walk to the town. A very good small bakery and supermarket are just a short walk from the hotel. A nice coastal path is located along the other side of the bay, with several places to stop and have a drink. Overall, we would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel.

The only thing we could say is that the bed was a little firm for us, but not uncomfortable.

lovely 4th floor room with a great view over the bay from the balcony. Comfy bed, tea & coffee making facilities, fridge to store your own drinks etc. over bath shower with sliding doors was ok for me but would be a bit tricky to get in / out if any height or mobility issues. Breakfast was very good with ample selection of cereals, breads, cheeses, good hot selection as well. Staff very helpful, friendly and attentive. Bus stop right outside (every 20 mins from early till late) for trips to Dubrovnik old town or places in between. Couple of euros each way or free if you purchase Dubrovnik pass). Didn't use indoor or outdoor pool as beach was near and weather was good but both looked good.

Minor thing but couldn't get Netflix to work but not a real issue as were out and about most of the time or if in sat on balcony admiring the views! Not a reflection on hotel but be wary of many ATM you see dotted about. one machine charged me £219 for 220 euros where as a 'proper bank' one I got the same 220 euros for £196! Taxi from airport to hotel 56 Euros where as one arranged by hotel back to airport only 36 euros

The staff were lovely, even surprised us with some champagne for a birthday, which was a lovely touch. The view was spectacular and the Lapad area is lovely for a beach break away from the crowds of the old town. It's also easy to get to the old town with buses right outside. The spa is lovely, good treatments and facilities. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was really good and tasty with plenty variety. We would recommend this hotel and would stay again!

The aircon in the room didn't work at all and the shower water pressure was poor.
