We have stayed around this area many times and really like the neighbourhood. It’s a good half hour walk (or three or for stops on metro) into the centre of Prague, from the property, although metro and tram stops are very close as well as shops, bars and resturants. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. It was a really good size and had all amenities that you could need. We stayed for 10 nights and the room was cleaned, and bedding and towels were changed, very regularly throughout our stay. We didn’t need to come into contact with reception during our stay although they we very helpful prior to our arrival and on check in and out.

May not be central enough for someone visiting Prague for the first time and only for a few days.

Spent: 5 nights Early August 2024 1. Location: Fantastic, in a quiet district of Prague, not touristry (mostly locals and office workers), food, banking, shopping mall are within a block away. Metro, trams, buses, (FREE FOR SENIORS) are across the street, and few minutes brings you to all Praha attractions. Parks, river and many artistic attractions were within walking distance. 2. Apartment: Beds are comfortable and room was well maintained. Note: This is not a hotel, there is one top notch receptionist on hand who will give you any help necessary and incl a good cleaning staff. The air conditioning system is self controlled and adequate. Kitchen area in room is well stocked with all cooking utensils and a table with chairs. Small refrigerator with freezer. Bathroom with shower is well stocked with linins. Hair dryer incl. An excellent heated rack for drying your small laundry.

There is no elevator available, especially inconvenient for 3rd floor apts. Receptionist helped with luggage. There was no easy chair, sofa or desk to work at. Bathroom lacked adequate shelving for toiletries. At first, we were disappointed as we expected 3rd class hotel standards;(The location and friendly staff diminished any disappointments)

Excellent location, a lot of space, everything one would need from an apartment, very comfortable.

The only thing that we would have wanted to be a bit different is the cleanliness of the aparment floors. Feet became rather dirty already at the first evening when we stayed there. And we learned that white socks is a no-no if you want to stay inside as they became dirty rather easily. Not a dramatic issue and it could have had several reasons (for example, could have been the dust from the outside renovations) but we thought that perhaps you might want to pay attention to this as a possible nuisance.

We have been staying at this apartment for years, and the family room we booked was spacious, with facilities that met our needs during the stay. The hotel is conveniently located beside the tram station.

The apartment is located above a bar and restaurant, making it noisy at night if you open the window to sleep. One day, we returned to our room to find there was no hot water. We called and spoke to a lady who informed us that the issue would be fixed the next day, as the apartment does not have 24-hour staff. However, the hot water was restored after about 30 minutes. While the problem was eventually resolved, the communication about it could have been much better.

The apartment is located above a really nice and recommended bar, but you don't hear any noise from the apartment. The apartment is large, comfortable and equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay, we were definitely pleasantly surprised. The hostess at the reception was really nice, and tried to help with every request we had.

We absolutely liked the place; however, individuals with mobility issues should be aware that they may need to walk up a story or two. In addition, there is a window above the bed, and the window covering does not completely block the light entering the room. But these are minor issues.

The apartment was extremely clean, spacious and comfortable. Large bathroom with two sinks, waterfall and moveable shower, and a bidet. Lots of storage space and useful kitchen facilities. The bed was very comfortable. Great location with tram stops across the road to take you to sights in around 10 minutes. I was able to book very reasonably priced airport transfers with good communication from reception, and we could leave our luggage at no extra cost. Friendly, helpful staff and a really lovely apartment meant we thoroughly enjoyed our trip!

Location was excellent, the staff were very friendly and check in was so easy. Apartment was very spacious and had everything needed. Kitchen was also well equipped. The apartment was directly opposite a metro station that could take you anywhere. My son and I were so comfortable during our stay. The offered to keep my luggages until I was ready to leave. I will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

A fantastic stay! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, allowing us to leave our luggage before check-in. The apartment was cozy, spacious, and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was quiet, offering a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. The location was excellent—close to trams, a supermarket, and several bars and restaurants. Overall, a perfect choice for our time in Prague. Highly recommended!

Clean, spacious apartment. Close to public transport It was not just that the dogs are allowed but also really welcomed :-) The breakfast was great.

The noise from the restaurants guests below the apartment - easily up to 1.30 in the morning.. You get the earplugs for such occasions tho :-) This part of the Prague is not where I would go with the kids — too many junkies and in general people you don’t wanna cross the path with.. we did park in Lidicka street option - it is a bit narrow for average car - but doable :-)

The area is great, close to shops, bars and restaurants. The metro is across the road (Andel station on the B line) and the tram stop is also there. Walking into the old town area took us around 20 minutes and is a lovely walk along the river for most of it. The apartment is very spacious and had everything we needed. We also made use of the washing machine too. There is air con in the bedrooms. We didn't use it though as it was chilly when we were there. However we did use the radiators which all worked as you would expect. All staff we met were lovely which is the same in the restaurant where the food and drinks were delicious. I do recommend the Andel apartments and would stay here again.

Maybe black out blinds for the Velux windows instead of the blinds, particularly in the bedrooms, would be better.
