Bathroom

Gorgeous, spacious room with lovely decor - loved the huge chandelier! Nice to have a separate dressing room with the wardrobe etc. Large bathroom with probably the best shower I've experienced in a hotel. Large, comfortable bed. Our room was dual aspect, with a city view (though basically just the road towards the Charles Bridge) and a glorious river view. Everything worked perfectly, and all was very clean with lots of room and storage. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Interesting and beautiful decor around the hotel. Breakfast had absolutely everything you'd wish for. Location was perfect, very close to the Charles Bridge. What more can I say? Absolutely wonderful and highly recommended.

The only tiny niggle would be that it would have been nice to have had a large duvet that covered both of us, rather than two single duvets (the bed was two singles pushed together). I appreciate that it makes it easier for the hotel, but it's not as comfortable for a couple.

Great hotel in excellent location- close to Charles Bridge. Period style hotel with beautiful furniture. Spacious rooms. Central reception open 24 hours. Large breakfast room serving a large selection of hot and cold foods for breakfast.

We had an issue with no hot water in our room This was an issue on the second floor in general as guests in room beside us was the same as was our sons in room also on second floor. Problem persisted for three days with no hot water in shower or sink. Each day we were told it was fixed. On the day before we left they offered to move us rooms but we were leaving very early the next morning so seemed pointless to move at that stage. A shame as this was the only issue we had with our stay!

Handy location for pretty much all the sites. Easy walking distance. Also has a tram stop just round the corner so you can easily get to places like the zoo. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet was superb, with different things being offered on different days to keep things interesting, although you have to time it right because it can be busy. We had a suite with an upstairs bedroom and a sofa bed downstairs which worked well for 2 adults and a child. It also had 2 bathrooms which was very handy for getting ready.

The down side of being in a good location is there's a noisy club round the corner which you can hear the pumping bass from, and it seems to empty out at about 5am with people screaming, which will wake you up! Plus the aforementioned tram stop might wake you as the tram pulls away and rings its bell. Also, my bed was very squeaky, so I woke myself and my wife every time I turned over!

No sitting room with a bar for coffees / drinks . We’d have loved to have had a night cap there in a cosy setting My husband booked2 separate beds by mistake . We couldn’t change bedroom as the hotel was full . We had to have beds pushed together so couldn’t fit in the bedside table so I had to put my stuff and drinks on the floor . They are missing a trick not having a spa or treatments or a pool .

The hotel is in a superb location to the public transport coming from the main station as well as to the bridge and to old town. We actually stayed here in recommendation from my sister and her friend who stayed here in August. The room was spacious and warm (you can control the temperature yourself) It had a hallway and a separate bathroom and separate wardrobe area. They kindly split the beds as I was traveling with my father. The beds were clean and reasonably comfortable, not the best but did the job. The housekeeping made the room tidy each day a they give the option of not replacing towels which is wonderful for unnecessary washing! They have stairs and a lift. The stairs are lvoely twisting ones with plenty of character. They have sensor lights throughout the building to conserve power. The breakfast options were great and some hot items changed over the 2 mornings we ate breakfast. Definitely a great selection. The staff always smiled at you when you saw them.

No biggie but you can hear noise from above rooms (feet stomping) but it's an old building and not too bad. The only thing we noticed each day was the hot items in the breakfast were luke warm both mornings, and we were always there at or just after 7.30am when they opened for breakfast. I looked at their heater/ bain maree for the food and they only have the eggs on low and some were not even on... so that's something they should look at as no one likes cold scrambled eggs or cold baked beans! Otherwise no complaints, the food was still enjoyed!!

Older property but very well looked after, clean and stuff very friendly and helpful. We unfortunately left a handbag at the location and the staff with fantastic could help us getting on. The property is located in a great position around beautiful restaurants and not far from the main square. Breakfast was also very nice.

The only issue we had was was the showers were not hot, only warm. And the rooms were cold and the heating wasn’t turned on. However this was due to unexpected conditions. We were there during intense rain, and there was no issue with flooding or anything like that.

We chose this hotel for the location, and it didn't disappoint. We woke up early every morning and walked the quiet streets of old town Prague before everyone else. To experience the Charles Bridge and the Astronomical Clock at their best, take advantage of the quiet mornings. After an early morning walk, we always returned to the hotel for a delicious buffet breakfast that provided different options each morning.

It can be a lot of street noise at the night with a room looking over the river. This is due to busy bars and night life within the area. The windows are double glassed, so this was only an issue with the windows open. For coffee lovers, the coffee provided at breakfast was not the best, but everything else provided made up for the short fall.

Hotel location is very near to all historical sides you like visit to experience rich culture this century's old country Could not be better: excellent! Room is large (clean) and breakfast is really good. The staff in reception provided exceptional service. Thank you!

We could not find anything what we would not like about this hotel. All we could receive from the hotel is there. This hotel brings great value to every traveler who wants to fell save and comfortable.

The location was perfect. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They arranged everything I needed to make my visit worry free. The breakfast was exceptional and the breakfast staff kept everything clean and plentiful. The housekeeping staff were very nice and did a wonderful job in our room. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The only thing I missed was having a small wash cloth in the shower. I realize I am probably one of very few people who still prefers to use one.
