We had a very nice experience at this hotel. The location is just perfect, it's very close to the Karl bridge and old town, but on the other hand is in a very quiet location, next to the park. Wonderful breakfast with a big variety of the food. Clean room, comfortable bed, very polite staff! We will definitely book again at this hotel and would recommend to our friends

Absolutely nothing

The girl at the reception was so awesome - she gave us tips what is worth visiting, etc. Our room was updated for FREE as they didnt have the same room I reserved. Even though we used it only once - we received a 'free daily drink' upin check in, which was pretty awesome. Breakfast is the best breakfast I have ever had in a hotel! Bed was comfyyyy!!

This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. Prepare yourself for an extraordinary breakfast experience at this hotel. The breakfast buffet offered here is truly amazing. You'll find a wide selection of beverages ranging from freshly brewed coffee to refreshing juices and even mimosas for those looking to indulge. As for the food, you'll be delighted by the abundance of options available. From freshly baked pastries and bread to a variety of cereals, yogurts, and fruits, there's something for everyone. The buffet also caters to health-conscious individuals with a juicer available, allowing you to create your own nutritious concoctions. The staff members were amazing, especially Ira, Visa, Veronika and Barbora. These your ladies are super hard working and fun workers providing excellent service and going above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Additionally, the hotel's location was perfect, conveniently situated in a prime area that allowed easy access to various attractions and amenities. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its outstanding breakfast, friendly staff, and ideal location.

There was not much to dislike. Food was great, rooms were always clean, bed was comfortable. Perhaps some rooms did not have as good of a views but over all not much to dislike here.

The Hotel is located very close to the Karlsbridge/access to Pragues Old Town, etc. but very quite near a park along the Moldau river - excellent location ! The Hotel has a very special touch with its old armour decoration. It has a rather large open parking lot for cars. Hotel staff is very helpful if special circumstances need their support ! I got severe stomach problems on a Sunday - contacted the Hotel staff and they immediately helped me getting to the University Hospital emergency department !! Thank You for all the help !

Access to the Hotel Parking by car is not easy to find ! Make sure you get detailed drving information from the Hotel prior to arriving in order to find the access route to the Hotel Parking lot !

The breakfast is amazing, big variety to choose from (hot&cold food). The location is superb, walking distance to many sights. The staff is very nice and helpful.

The hotel entrance and reception could be better lit and with better signs. The kids bed is a mobile bed, not very stable and not very comfortable.

The hotel is located in a pleasant part of Mala Strana, but slightly away from the more touristy parts. It is in walking distance of many sights and on good tram routes to all others: there are good restaurants and pubs within easy reach. It made an agreeable and convenient base for our five days in Prague. We had a double room with extra bed for a first person. The room was nice and clean, and quiet. The double bed was spacious and comfortable; the additional bed was a little short and hard for some tastes, but adequate. The breakfast was a definite highlight, with lots of variety (yoghurts, cold meats and cheese, cake, juices, coffee, good bread and jam and a range of extras, including good cooked items and a waffle machine. No need for a large lunch after this. The hotel affects a medieval decor, so breakfast is taken amidst suits of armour etc. - a bit kitsch perhaps, but quite amusing. Staff were welcoming, efficient and friendly. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much.

As indicated above, the additional bed could have been a bit more comfortable.

Breakfast was delicious, especially the scrambled eggs. Service was personal and friendly. The hotel is located next to a small park with easy walking distance to the cental old town across the river. There is a charming court yard where beer, coffee and light meals can be had. The decor is old fashion but clean and well maintained and a refreshing contrast to all the sterile modern hotels! A gift of wonderful brownies when we checked out was a lovely gesture and delicious too. We give our highest recommendations for Pytloun Old Armoury Hotel.

There was a band playing very loudly on Saturday night. Luckily they stopped at 10 pm. This was out of the hotel's control so they are not to blame.

Great location by the river. Quirkily decorated as the theme is that of the buildings past as a medieval armory. Good breakfast. Comfortable bar area and an outside bar in the gardens with plenty of seating and good bar food menu as well. Max and Illy the 2 guys working in the garden bar do a great job of keeping everyone's thirst at bay. Will definitely visit Prague again as it is a stunning city and would have no hesitation in booking to stay here again.

There was no air con, just an electric fan that struggled to keep the room cool enough to sleep as there was unusually hot weather during our stay.

The interior was beautiful with suits of armour and stained glass windows everywhere. Wooden wagons were used as serving tables for the expansive buffet breakfast. Turns out the building was originally used as an armoury, so really a historic gem. We even got a handwritten note to welcome us. Location was brilliant - close to the Charles Bridge, old town and near a park with giant sculpted babies and impromptu jazz performances. Absolutely brilliant.

I don't know if I missed the information but you need to go through the car park to get to the entrance of the hotel. Maybe that could be made more clear.

Absolutely beautiful dining area and main spaces! Clean rooms and super comfortable beds. But what really made the stay for me was the staff!! Misheel was sooo kind. The location wasn’t correct from Booking.com and she walked 5 minutes outside the hotel to come find me when I was lost. Multiple times the staff really went above and beyond to accommodate!! Thank you!!!

The address listed on Booking.com led me to the wrong place and it was very difficult to find alone at night in the dark in a city I’ve never been to. I wish there had been better directions online or something? I’m not sure why the listed address brings you close but a few blocks away.
