You cannot have guests. You cannot get a drink after 9pm at night . People with kids should be on one side of the hotel & those without kids on the other so you can get some peace . We had random kids swimming in our jacuzzi area crying & screaming.

Emily and Jia Ming always greeted us with warm, genuine smiles. Never failed to go out of the way to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. Including the friendly security man at the carpark welcome area. The staff and service are really what made our stay such a wonderful experience. Enjoyed the privacy of the Garden Suite, the bathroom tub, and the jacuzzi area with the float and water toys for my son. Loved loved the afternoon free flow of cocktails, wines and canapés!

The noise from the aircon made it difficult to have sound sleep at night. The water from the shower wasn’t piping hot. And while the sofa is in line with the room theme, they are really uncomfortable to sit on. Still, these won’t stop us from coming back again :)

Our staycation at The Barracks Hotel was an exceptional experience. Housed in a historic colonial building surrounded by lush greenery, the setting was both serene and picturesque. The service was outstanding, with incredibly friendly and attentive personnel who made us feel right at home. The food and cocktails were delicious, adding to the overall enjoyment of our stay. A standout moment was the tea session with veterans Winston and Khor, which provided a unique and memorable touch to our visit. We absolutely recommend The Barracks Hotel and look forward to returning in the future.

The property is in an excellent location and loved that it is a heritage hotel. Our room had direct access for the pool which was lovely.

Great location with all must-see attractions of Sentosa in 5-10 minutes of nice walk in beautiful environment. Friendly, helpful and caring staff who are ready to assist in any situation. Clean, fresh and cozy facilities. Personal approach to the guests. Special thanks to amazing Emily Chan! She is like an old friend - caring, warm-hearted and love-giving. Thanks to the reception, restaurant and housekeeping team! Thanks to Aree, Ding Huan and Jack Mohan! Thanks to them our trip to Singapore is one of the best experiences we had. We would also advise to go for the audio-guide tour around the Hotel vicinity which you can find on the hotel's website. If we come back, then it would be definitely The Barracks Hotel. Highly recommended to everyone!

Breakfast was good and even better when we learnt we had the option of using the French restaurant at the Mess Hall. Staff were very friendly with extra praise for the lady cleaning our room. Lovely pools, super rooms and very comfortable beds. Location could not be better for us on Sentosa, with everything just a short walk away. Peaceful, very comfortable location

I have used the hotel before (quite a few years ago) and like then, I only have one complaint and that is the quality of the canapés. Dry and generally boring and only soft cheese on the platter. I stated years ago that this could be improved a lot. It is only a small part of our stay, but the only negative comment we can think of. Everything else is fabulous

We throughly enjoyed our stay at The Barracks. This hotel is absolutely beautiful. It is exceptionally clean. All the staff are amazing and so so friendly and accommodating. They couldn’t do enough for you. We had towel art on the bed daily and they made a birthday celebration super special. The breakfast was very tasty. We also loved the free canapés and cocktails for an hour in the evening. A perfect place for us to get over our jet lag also as it was so peaceful quiet and beautiful. The pool area is superbly well maintained. We will definitely stay again and maybe try a pool access room next time.

There was nothing we did not like.

Such a peaceful, tranquil hotel, with the barracks history blended sympathetically into all touch points. We had a suite that had direct pool access which was fabulous. However what stands this hotel above its competitors is the customer service. Every, single member of staff and every single customer interaction was exceptional. From the friendly and informative welcome from Mr Gulpal to the incredibly helpful reception staff, to the attentive living room staff and cheery cleaners - this is what so many of the large luxury hotels cannot match. The cocktails and canapés hour in the evening is a wonderful touch, complimentary snacks and drinks through the day and yummy ice cream freezer which our son absolutely loved. In addition we had a super late flight out that day - reception were able to arrange a late checkout and we could hang at the hotel on the air con until we needed to leave for the airport- with more compliments canapés. We shall recommend to all.

There was nothing we didn’t like. It was exceptional. Only tiny point for future development would be an on site kitchen to provide a breakfast when ever you wake up with a wider menu and maybe a wider selection in the mini bar

My friend and I had the most incredible stay at The Barracks Hotel in Sentosa, and it was hands down the highlight of our entire trip. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like absolute royalty. The staff were not only professional but also warm, accommodating, and always attentive to our every need. They truly went above and beyond to make us feel special, creating an experience that was personal and unforgettable. One of the standout features of our stay was the level of interaction with the staff. They were so knowledgeable, offering fascinating insights and suggestions for things to do on the island. Every question we asked was met with enthusiasm, and their recommendations for tours and activities made our time in Sentosa even more enjoyable. It was clear they were genuinely invested in ensuring we had the best experience possible. The food at The Barracks was exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious breakfast spreads, as well as the amazing happy hour, which was a real treat after a day of exploring. Every meal was satisfying and packed with flavor, adding another layer of luxury to our stay. A special mention goes to the team for the incredible surprise they organized for my 40th birthday. I was completely blown away when they surprised me with a beautiful cake and a bouquet of flowers, making the celebration even more memorable. Their thoughtful gesture made the occasion so much more meaningful, and it’s something I’ll always cherish.
