Room was spacious and clean and the breakfast was very good though the hot breakfast could have been a little warmer. The bathroom was also spacious and very clean but being pedantic the shower pressure was not the best, Air conditioning was not the best either and barely kept you cool at night. The location was excellent and directly across from the central station in Copenhagen served by train and the metro, ‘Scotland this is the transport system you must aspire too’ it is one of the best systems I have ever seen. Tivoli Gardens were across the street as well as the Tivoli food hall and various other food outlets and bars. Prices are a bit higher than the UK for restaurants and bars, approximately 10/15% . iIf you are coeliac use the ‘Find Me Gluten Free’ app this worked for my husband. Beautiful clean city for a visit and the architecture is fascinating with amazing buildings in every part of the city. Must see/do: Canal trip/Christiansborg Palace (lots of museums in this area )Christiania Free Town/Our Saviours Church (a little scary if you suffer from Vertigo), Nyhavn, Rosenberg Castle. Use the metro system and it will take you very close to anything you wish to visit. PS. The canal tours pass the Little Mermaid statue but you only see the back of her.

I cannot stress this enough BEWARE OF THE CYCLISTS they do not care if you are in the way. Remember there are pavements then cycle lanes then roads, confuse the pavements and cycle lanes at your peril.

The bed was very comfortable and the room spacious.

There must have been a problem with the drains as at times there was a dreadful smell in the reception area and up through the stairwell. The toilets down behind reception smelt foul. Also in the bedroom the bedside lights and the bathroom lights would not work unless you had the main ceiling light on!!?

Top location. Very central and close to everything you need. I liked the old-world vibe of the hotel, the carpeted lobby, the broad stairs, the ancient lift... much more elegant and spacious than modern hotels. The lift alone is worth seeing. My room was again spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was really good, there was a lot of variety, I particularly liked the various bread options and the excellent coffee. Definitely include the breakfast in your reservation, you won't regret it. Staff were generally helpful and professional, there were one or two surly ones though.

The first room assigned to me was in the top (penthouse) floor and it was really hot and sticky in there (early September, weather was nice). The A/C wasn't working in the room and they couldn't fix it. Afterwards I requested to transfer to a room in a lower floor and it was cool and AC was working. Another issue was there was no minibar in the first room, although it was included on booking.com. They said the top 2 floors were recently renovated and the hotel was still expecting the minibars for those rooms. Hopefully that will be resolved soon.

Located right next to the Copenhagen Central Station, the hotel is perfectly located for train travellers, and central copenhagen is a 5-10min walk away. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the breakfast is good, and the hotel bar (The Library Bar) is, in itself, worth visiting for.

Everything at the hotel seems old-fashioned and worn, with a bit of "faded grandeur" - to me, that just adds to the charm, but your mileage may vary.

The staff were good. We had a very small room and l was able to get moved to a little bigger room, which made all the difference. Location was great, very close to station and the city sites.

The hotel gave us directions from the airport. They were not very clear to tell us we should not get on the metro train.. we had to catch the country train service.

Beautiful hotel, lovely welcome at reception. The staff at breakfast and dinner were fantastic, really going the extra mile for the guests. Bar and house keeping so friendly and polite. Excellent selection of food and beverages at breakfast. The hotel is in a great location for everything, opposite Central station, around 15 minutes on the train from the airport. The room and ensuite were spacious and clean. The hotel do supply ear plugs in the room, if the trains disturb you but we didn't need them. No noise from the other rooms either.

One thing only! The bed was a bit too soft for us, as we both need firmer back support. But for 1 or 2 nights, no problem.

Everything, literally. It is my fifth time in this hotel and I do know why: the staff is a jewel of courtesy and professionalism; the location is beyond perfect within Copenhagen; the rooms are absolutely great in space and amenities; the restaurant Angelini is delicious. I do like the particular cachet this hotel has. I spontaneously and immediately felt at home in August 2022, my first time there, and it just got reinforced each and every time I came back. Honestly, for a customer and traveler, there is nothing better than to feel that welcomed in such a perfect environment. I do commend this hotel and cannot wait to come back as often as possible.

first person i met was Pernille the restaurant manager who was very friendly throughout my stay. Everyone was very helpful. I did like the room which was quite spacious and authentic. Bathroom was very modern. Loved the antiquated lift and wished i used the gym which was well equipped, but i was out all day discovering Copenhagen. Ate at Angelini's one night which was very pleasant and again the staff were very pleasant. Always helpful at the desk and the cleaning was always very good every day. Location was perfect for this stay and i would always recommend this hotel if you haven't been here before.

Could have asked for a room with a harder mattress, but not sure this would have been an option and generally it didn't spoil my stay. didn't know how to turn off the vent in bathroom other than to close the door but again not really a problem. will pay for a room with a view next time! it wasn't outward looking but facing a courtyard!

The location is perfect! So close to the train station and easy to get to. Our room was very cozy and had a great balcony. Most importantly, we cannot thank Klara enough - we overslept on our last morning (maybe because the beds are so comfortable?) and woke up in a panic that we were past our checkout time and still had to pack. She could not have been nicer about it and gave us the time we needed to pack up our room. Through all of our apologies she told us not to feel bad and to remain calm. This was a huge help on a stressful morning and we really appreciate her!!!

Nothing I can think of!

The hotel is just opposite to the train/metro/bus station. Tivoli Gardens is just across the road, and I could see the view through my window. The room we stayed in was perfect for the New Year's Eve fireworks display. The bed and pillows were soft and comfortable. The breakfast was good but it's the same menu for 4 days. The library bar was cool.

The breakfast area was almost full. Some items were empty and took time to replenish, but the staff were polite except for the 1staff, who argued to have 1 breakfast card per person, and yet they have the guests list on hand. I don't like the shower that is half open because the water is always a mess in the bathroom.
