amazing luxurious hotel - much nicer than on the photos! would definitely come back. the food and drinks were great, especially at the a la carte restaurants

The location itself, the entertainment opportunities, the size of the room, the food (buffet and a la carte restaurants). The lobby bars make good cocktails. Available buffet on the beach. Nice garden view, friendly staff. Powerful AC, although we've rarely used it.

If you are looking for the Caribbean white sand and blue / turquoise waters, this is not the place. The sand layer is very thing (it looks a bit as an artificial beach ) and it's brown. The towels can be cleaner. The fridge is not always filled back with what you've already used (plenty of water, though). Make sure you pack something against mosquitos. Poor wifi on the beach.

staff and facility was amazing

the food was okay, lots of it but bland in the buffet. the dinners you have to book asap for a restaurant. I was only there for 3nights 4days and I could only get a dinner reservation on the last night because it was all booked up. the one night we did get the last reservation for 9:00 and was at the steak house, the meat was amazing but the sides were cold.

I liked most of the things.

Despite NUMEROUS requests, the hotel could not provide a comfortable bed. All I wanted was a softer bed. For my whole stay, despite numerous requests, the hotel could not find a mattress topper. The other thing I found disturbing was the shortage of staff speaking English. Really?

Everything. I feel like what makes this resort special and amazing is the workers. The employees have an exceptional customer service. I received the best treatment from everyone there. All the guys and girls have the best attitude and always a smile on their faces. Some of the names I remember are Juan Arrendondo. Luis Rodríguez. Eddy Junior Bautista, Yariza Martinez and the other girls. I worked in the food industry and customer service for so many year and I know for a fact how hard and challenging this job occupation can be. I was very happy there and I didn’t want to come back home. I also like the fact that everything was within a walking distance, it has that Dominican Caribbean environment that I miss so much since I moved out of the country and that I almost forgot. The dancers are very talented and social. oh my God!!! The food was very good and the buffets have plenty of food options. If the buffets are closed… they still offer food some other ways. You won’t go hungry. Please visit the restaurants a la carte. They are amazing. Our favorite one was Don Pablo. i can keep going on about everything else. My husband couldn’t believe I found this resort for so little money. Very affordable.

I wish at least one of the pools was open till later. At least one more hour. I figured they closed early because the noise or maybe they want to get the pool ready for the next day. Maybe an hour extra will do.

My first time at Bahia Principe Bouganville and I loved it. The staff was so helpful and always with a smile. The rooms were beautiful, always cleaned, loved that I was near the pool and lobby. The pool area was so much fun from the entertainment, right up to the pool party. The food was delicious, the drinks were good. Really enjoyed the entertainment in the lobby.

The two things I would say the bed is really hard (but once in the sun all day you pass out). I did not enjoy the food for room service, but we did that once.

The beach water The hotel not investing private workers to clean the beach for the guests 😒 😑 🙄 😐 they didn't bother in trying to clean it themselves instead of waiting for the government to clean it They lose guests that way, and everyone take pictures of the water and send to friends and family, making less of the hotel 🏨 Overall, it's a paradise

the entertainment team at the pool are the best. the bars at the pool very friendly and a lot of drinks all the time, everyone and very friendly. the mobility around is very good they are always ready to take you from one hotel to the other. the front desk is always ready to help you in any way possible with a smile.

there are no phone stations charge any were. it will be nice that they can set them around the pool area. also, the Wi-Fi is not good around the property. it's only good at the main entrance. the tennis court need repair asap. The casino is out...

all was fantastic resort wise ..... food pretty good staff very professional kind and helpful must say the breakfast staff specially her Captain where outstanding cheers

being a tennis coach we where so so disappointed on the on the condition of the courts totally RUN DOWN no maintenance what so ever the pro is going mad management not responding the courts are not only in bad shape they dangerous be careful we tried on morning that was it to DANGEROUS please tell the management to have a look before ....something bad happen

Wife and I enjoyed the full service provided within this resort. The buffet was amazing. many options to choose. The entertainment was great and many options to choose from. The beach felt like an oasis with its natural palm trees.

What we did not like too much but bearable was the live music every evening. the offering of Live music is great. it I would recommend to provide more of a culture music such as a full live band and not only a live singer with a piano guy. I felt the Dominicans have a beautiful music culture which could have been better presented during the evening hours.
