The hotel is new and very comfortable. We travel with a baby so we choose the superior room which has a separate bedroom. Very spacious, powerful A/C and comfortable bed.

The room part of our suite was giving to back of the hotel, where all A/C are installed, the noise was a little bit uncomfortable… The water of the swimming pool was not clean and chemicals inside where not equilibrated… our swimming baths where ruined!

The hotel stay was very pleasant. I would definitely stay here again. It's in walking distance to restaurants and stores. Also, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

I was charged over 6,000 pesos for a tequilla cocktail. Be sure to confirm the price before ordering from the bar. This happened at the rooftop pool bar.

Build quality of Hotel is ok, but not impressive and it will soon look older than it is. Hotel allready look 5 years old. Walking distance to restaurants and ocean front.

Be aware mountain behind hotel had mud slide 2 times the last 2 weeks. Stay away from back building and dont park behind hotel, you can not get out. See picture of huge mudslide blocking back side Parking acces. Use only Parking under first front building. Some guests could not get their cars out and they Got evacuated from back building house. Picture of big digger trying to clear way out of Parking lot, last picture show 2 cement trucks crashed under mud slide behind building. This is serious and can be dangerous.

Absolutely stunning, the hotel, the view, the roof top pools, it was all perfect. The staff were impeccable and provided excellent service. The room was huge and so clean with all amenities included even his and her bathrobes and slippers. The food at the restaurant was very good, we were there a total of 3 nights and 4 days and got to try various dishes which were all excellent, even the breakfast that was included was great and very generous in portions. The concierge (Geiser) was fantastic, he answered all of our questions and gave us lots of great ideas about places to sight see based on our personal preferences and went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We originally only booked for 1 night but loved it so much we ended up staying 3, I think that says enough ;)

Saturday night, there was a private party on the terrace where the pools were, and it happened to be directly above our room, and it was extremely loud. We were unable to rest and sleep due to this until around 12 am. They also closed off more than half of the rooftop, including 2 pools to accommodate this party. While I understand that there is a space for events to be hosted, it could have been managed better as it was a substantial inconvenience for other paying guests. It also ruined what would have been a very romantic rooftop dinner with a gorgeous view.

The room was very comfortable and had great view. The breakfast was very nice, Mr.Amauri from room service what an excellent service always with a smile very authentic with the interaction with the wife and I. The property is well located and looks just as the pictures for us it served its purpose by just disconnecting and relaxing in the facility. We even stayed an extra night.

The drinks at the pool bar was 5 out of 10, the outside of the boulevard had a lot of noises between the afternoon hours until around 5 or 6 pm because they’re fixing the bay area and we understand that its outside of the hotel control.

It was close enough to restaurants you could walk, but far away enough that not many, if any local vendors, were around hustling. It was quiet. The bed was amazing, the view was superb. I loved the rooftop pool. It came with free breakfast. The days we ordered from the menu it was delicious. The berenjena bagel was my favorite! Tomato based. The bed was so comfortable <3.

Our room had a broken pull down blind so no natural light, but the lighting in the room was great! The conditioner had a broken pump in the shower so we couldn’t use that, but I brought my own. There were times the water in the shower had a hard time maintaining the temperature we wanted. I didn’t like the days breakfast was buffet style as much, but they still had delicious natural pineapple and passion fruit juice.

The person who checked me in ( Antonio) you are amazing!! The excellent customer service you have I can tell you is top notch. I worked in hotels and you went above and beyond even when I was not happy. Another person was a housekeeping supervisor young lady very nice and professional

No pool towels available. Shower head damaged but replace by the housekeeping supervisor since the maintenance person the night before said we should wait next day. But once she got in the room she did the work right away. Ella es muy buena. Hope you guys treat these staff well, I worked for hotels in NYC and I can assure you they are better than what I deal with.

Nice rooms with sea views and very comfortable beds. Great rooftop area with nice pools and a bar. Staff are excellent - friendly, professional and efficient. Breakfast is good, not great.

Not a five star hotel by any standard I am familiar with. Same criticism as other reviewers - I cannot get past the noise on the main road outside the hotel. Kids on motorbikes driving up and down the street. It goes on all night (Friday to Sunday at least). No soundproofing of rooms to mitigate this. Earplugs essential.

There is a lot to like abut this hotel and withstanding the Bahia all-inclusives this is easily the best on Semana Bay. The hotel website is accurate and you can get a good idea of your room selection from that. The restaurant is entirely satisfactory. The staff are very good but unless you have spanish language skills you may need google translate on your phone. The rooftop pool is instagram heaven. Underground parking is easy, secure, and free.

Do snag your room on arrival to make sure all you need is there. Our electric hob did not work but was replaced within minutes of reporting. Likewise the soap dispenser in the shower was replaced.

The hotel is very modern, the rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. We loved the pool and roof top bar although they close quite early. The staff are really friendly and helpful.

The food wasn't great but there's a few restaurants in the area to choose from and even more if you have a car to travel around in. The road is quite noisy but we didn't really mind. They do a breakfast buffet on Sundays which we loved as there was loads of options, it was much better than the daily breakfast options. We did go off season so the hotel was quiet so maybe why they didn't do the buffet every day. Samana Bay itself is not the nicest area, I would recommend having a car to travel down to Las terrenas or las galeras during the day.
