Fantastic place. Everything was exceptional. The good food, the facilities, the impeccable service, the friendly helpful staff, the mountain back drop, and that it is a “green” hotel. We loved that the resort has all the amenities but still had a super friendly and casual vibe. The resort offers a free shuttle to and from Dahab (15 min away - which is a charming town with lots to offer in terms of shopping, restaurants, and diving and canyon tours). The highlight for us was the hotel jetty - great snorkeling and diving right out the door! This is a real plus. I should note that they are the first place we stayed in Egypt that really went out of their way to accommodate a food allergy (I am celiac and someone from the staff went though the buffet dishes every meal letting me know what I could and could not eat - I had no issues).

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel in Dahab for three nights and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. Firstly, the location of the hotel was perfect. It was right by the beach and had stunning views of the Red Sea. The quality of the food at the hotel was really good. One of the best things about the hotel was the free shuttle bus service to “El Mamsha”. It made exploring the area so easy and convenient. I loved being able to hop on the bus and be in the heart of Dahab in just a few minutes. But what really impressed me was the staff at the hotel, especially Engy at the reception. She was incredibly helpful and friendly, always going above and beyond to make sure my stay was perfect. Her warmth and positive attitude really made my stay special. Overall, I had a wonderful stay at the hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dahab. The location, food, shuttle bus service, and exceptional staff truly made it a memorable experience. I can’t wait to visit again soon.

Some rooms need renovation, and the safe box was not fixed at the closest in one room and not existing in the other room.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Khloud is a beautiful asset and is ever present for assistance in making appointments for services. Allaa provides the best therapeutic massage ever and Mohammed in Reception basically runs the show. He is there to solve any issues with professionalism. I went on a lovely beach camel ride and had a blast at a Bedouin Hafla organized by Tyson. Super fun!

The beach is rocky so bring reef shoes is you want to walk in and swim. The beach chairs and cabanas could use attention. They were rather unclean in need of some repairs. Garbage is not regularly picked up, so this was disappointing. I had to take matters into my own hands.

The hotel is located in front of a coral reef, has its own diving centre and is a 5-minute taxi ride to the Blue Hole diving spot. The reception management is great-whatever we needed, we were helped with it immediately. Moreover, we arrived in the middle of the night, and they offered us three plates of snacks as they knew we wre hungry afetr the trip. The dining-room management is also perfect-they serve you fast, and even remember what drinks you liked. A heated outdoor pool is a treat! It’s away from the hustle and bustle of Dahab, but offers a free shuttle ride to Dahab a few times a day, which is awesome. It’s a small hotel, but all-inclusive deals, especially for the snorkellers are worth trying.

Please take care of the sun lounges at the beach- no one cleans them- they are dusty, dirty, old and torn-very unpleasant to lie down on. The sun lounges at the pool are washed with soap, and the ones at the beache are neglected and forgotten. Please make a Wifi spot in the pool area-more people would come for working holidays (now Wifi is only at the reception area). Please serve potato dishes for lunch (not for breakfast-Europeans don’t usually eat potatoes for breakfast) and pizzas and hot sandwiches for breakfast (now you serve them for lunch). Thank you!

It was truly an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and outstanding service from the staff. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious dishes served at all meals. The variety and quality of the food was impeccable, and I was impressed by the attention to detail in every dish. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, I always looked forward to the culinary delights that awaited me. I would like to extend a special thank you to Haytham, Ayman, and Engy at the reception for their exceptional hospitality and willingness to assist with any request. Their professionalism and friendliness truly enhanced my stay. Additionally, Hanna at the pool bar, Isaak at the restaurant, and Mohamed at the reception bar were also standout team members who went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. Overall, my experience at this hotel was nothing short of perfect. The combination of top-notch service, delectable cuisine, and welcoming staff made it a memorable stay that I will cherish for years to come. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable experience in Dahab.

Our stay in Tropitel Dahab was again very very exciting. This place on earth is very special. We got a lot of warmth and kindness from all the staff of Tropitel Dahab. Everytime it is very hard to say goodbye. We are sure to come back. Special thanks to Mustafa and Angy from front desk, Mr. Maher Hassan, Ahmed and all the other staff of Tropitel. We had very good discussions with Karim. Also thanks the Spa team, even we have not yet tanken their service this time. But we will do it next time. This hotel is in one of the most beautiful locations I have ever seen! It’s right on the beach too with a private pier that you can snorkel off and see the beautiful coral reef around it, and it has the stunning Mountain View surrounding it too. The hotel itself has a lovely calm feel to it, it’s peaceful and it feels really safe, especially considering I was a female solo traveller with two children! The hotel staff are just incredible, they’re so amazing with the kids and they make the stay feel really personal and special to everyone. The animation team are great fun, the kids enjoyed that a lot, I personally don’t enjoy doing many group activities on holiday and would rather relax but once I explained that they did respect my wishes and got the children involved instead. The food is really tasty with a good variety, fresh omelettes in the morning were my fave at breakfast and at dinner time the theme changes each night to different cuisines and they also have a pasta station where they make fresh pasta for you which the children also really enjoyed! The rooms are big and they’re pleasant, the bathroom could be a bit cleaner and the bed sheets could do with being updated but this did not in any way impact how much we enjoyed our stay at all. My children loved seeing the funny towel left on the bed each day too. Dahab itself is a beautiful little place, absolutely stunning and so friendly and feels really safe. We miss Dahab already and will absolutely be back!!!

The alcohol quality could be nicer but you must appreciate that this is a region where the locals do not drink alcohol so it is understandable. Also wine is only served at meal times, it would have been nice to enjoy some wine in the evening at the bar during the entertainment (you can purchase wine at the bar however, but it’s not included as an inclusive guest). No wifi other than the reception/bar area BUT this actually ended up being a positive as it meant my children got involved with the activities and socialised without screens which was so lovely to see. Adults you can buy Egyptian sim cards with data on so you can use your phone anywhere - so it’s not a big deal really :)

We liked the lovely balcony to watch the sunrise. Stunning view of the sea and pool, a well looked after gardens. The snorkelling on the beach, when not windy, was so lovely. Staff are really friendly and accommodating. Great restaurant, we felt very relaxed and comfortable.

There was too much hassle from practitioners to have a massage at the hotel. The WiFi would be good in rooms, too. Displaying the codes and passwords on board would be good as it frequently changes.

holiday review just returned from a relaxing week away at Tropitel Dahab Oasis. It has been lovely to see a complete mixture of nationalities and cultures together for the same purpose… relaxing! All of the staff could not be more helpful or friendly, making the stay even more wonderful. Special mention to Sayeed, Karim and Walid in the restaurant and to Ahmed in guest relations. The pool is clean and spacious but is probably crowded during the high season, we always found somewhere either by the pool or on the beach. Muhammad at the pool bar makes great drinks. The food was tasty and always easy to find something from the buffet to enjoy, with the fantastic simple idea of a design your own pasta, made fresh in front of you with a choice of tomato, meat or cheese sauce. There is a choice of fresh pastries each morning alongside hot food, fresh fruit and yoghurt. Lunch is hot food, with choices of salad and fresh small cakes. The building looks a little tired in places but there are currently renovations as they have moved into the quieter season so high hopes for the future. Be aware the wifi is chargeable and only in the lobby. The jetty is the best entry point to the sea for swimming or snorkelling, at night they have lights all along and aimed at the water so you can see the fish in the reef still.
