Lets start with the fact that every person working there likes to welcome you with a smile and you can see that they really do their best to make sure you enjoy every second in the Barcelo Hotel. Big shout out to Iman that provided me a room upgrade ( free of charge) and also because during my staying it happened to be my birthday and she, together with her colleagues, made sure to mark the moment with an amazing cake! Very lovely gesture! Overall, hotel is very clean, room that I got was really nice and spacious. Variety of restaurants in the hotel and a swimming pool area thats also very clean and which I have enjoyed a lot! Wellness area available, open for the entire day - definitely a must! Thanks Barcelo Hotel and the entire staff!

Unfortunately there are some construction projects going on the hotel street but that’s something that Barcelo hotel definitely cannot be held accountable for.

The team there especially Mahmoud Hammad. The most helpful, kind and polite person ever. We had an issue and he went above and beyond to help us. We travel a lot and we never found someone as dedicated. Always with a smile and genuine caring about the customer experience. Mahmoud we will miss you!!

If you go in winter bring thick pyjamas, the heating doesn’t work!

Freindly staff who can speak good English and I assume Spanish from the Spanish groups that were there, very informative and always asks to clean my room. I was usually going to breakfast 10 mins before closing and they let me finish my breakfast and pick what I wanted before closing time . I had issues booking Uber to the airport and a friendly staff member kindly did it for me given my unique situation very early in the morning after checkout.

Fortunately/ unfortunately for tourism and locals a metro is being built in front of the hotel it has destroyed the image of the street and a lot of rubbish and unsafe walkways left outside the hotel (not hotels issues of course ) other than that it’s perfect and would stay again.

Professional and very kind-hearted staff that were available 24/7. The pool was clean and beautiful and well heated. The restaurants were great and the cuisine was extraordinary! Some of the best dishes were at Nefertari Restaurant (the fillet and the veal were delicious!!) Highly recommend!🙂 We would definitely return!

The hotel is very clean and rooms are nice. Although the bathroom is old but very well maintained. Cleanliness is good. Concierge staff is good. The lady staff outside on the desk is good and smiles with greetings.

I ordered a Club sandwich and all over the world Club sandwich contains fried egg. I think the Chef ran over with the egg and chicken. The chicken inside the sandwich looked like some left over or the Chef just managed to complete my order. When you pay 10 USD plus for your Club sandwich you expect it to be better. The reception staffs are for sure high nose, mo smile and they are very busy inside without any guest outside 😊. The only lady sitting outside on the desk is the one who smiles and greets.

The facility is really nice and clean. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. Nice pool and location is somewhat close to the pyramids

Prices were a bit high considering the quality. The area is a bit sketchy, it's def not safe to walk around at night or even during the day if your not with a friend or group. Also they were short staff quite a bit.

The hotel is very nice and has all the facilities you need. The cafe in the lobby is open 24/7 which was convenient for us. When we first arrived we were given a room that wasn't the same as the photos, the room was small and barely had a window. We asked them why the room was so small and they gladly put us in a better room with way more lighting. The hotel is located close to the Pyramids, so that was convenient. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean. Thank you for a great stay!

The photos of the rooms should be updated because they didn't match. Unfortunately, the street that the hotel is on has construction, so every Uber driver had to find a route that allowed them access to the front door. This should be mentioned when booking because it might cause issues for some people.

The reception, cafe and concierge staff were very good. The receptionist helped me get an uber to the airport as we left. The breakfast was excellent with a wide selection of European and Egyptian food. It had the best falafel I have ever tasted. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.

The hotel had different options for dinner. You could use the restaurant, the buffet, or order food from a dedicated bar area. All food options were good.

I got upgraded to a suite on level 4, and the room size and location are great , but the bathroom needs updating and repairs done.

The coziness of the environment:)

Less amenities like coffee kit and tissue boxes.. I suggested also to have cooperation with tour guides specially lot of foreigns visiting Egypt.
