Upon arrival at CDG Airport, the signposting to the pick up was awful and almost impossible to find for first-time users. Also you get no help from staff!

While coming to France, I was skeptical as to how I was going to communicate, in addition to how I was going to book shuttle services from Airport to hotel. I wrote to the hotel F1 before coming and they were able to assist with the necessary services I would need. While I was here in France, the staff at the check-in were very friendly and ever willing to assist me. Once again, the hotel staff were top notch. Kudos guys. You want a quiet place, then Hotel F1 is the place to go. I definitely would visit Hotel F1 again.

Though, I enjoyed the hotel buffet for breakfasts, there was no close access to food except what I could get at the vending machines.

The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The room and bathrooms were very clean. It was also quiet, even though there was a lot of activity outside. We left too early to have breakfast, but we could smell the pastries baking when we left and they smelled magnificent. I think the breakfast would have surpassed my expectations based on smell alone.

We booked this hotel because we had a very early flight, and I wanted to use a shuttle. However, the shuttle runs on a VERY restricted schedule, so were not able to take it. It was fine for us, but if it were hotter or if we were less accustomed to sleeping in the heat, it would have been a struggle.

We have stayed at this Formula 1 in the past do so for the value and ease of airport access. This is not a fancy hotel, but it is exactly what is advertised. We requested a room with a bathroom, both of which were spotlessly clean. It is fun to see all the people who stay here from all over the world. There are vending machines for food and drink and there were food trucks outside. The Novotel next door has a restaurant with a small menu. We took the bus to get there from the airport and arranged for the shuttle to return to the airport the next morning. Affordable and cheerful!

Review F1 If you are looking for a budget hotel just to sleep by CDG, F1 hotel is perfect. We were a group of 6, and our flight was international at 8AM, so we chose F1 hotel’s max 6 people dormitory. There were 6 individual beds and 2 sinks so just perfect. Bathroom and shower were outside, and there were ample numbers so we never had to wait. The staff were all helpful and kind, and welcomed any questions we had. The only problem - we were given incorrect information about the taxi service. The scheduled shuttle bus was 4 euro each (4 x 6 = 24 euro), so the hotel staff recommended a taxi service instead and arranged a taxi for the next morning. He said “if it’s more than 5 people, taxi will be cheaper.” It turned out, the taxi for 6 people was 60 euro for just a 10 minutes ride! We tried to discuss with the driver but he was firm on the price so we ended up just paying 60 euros in cash. If we had known, we wouldn’t have taken a taxi and we were just happy with the shuttle bus service. The taxi driver didn’t take us to the right terminal either, so we walked a lot, too. Not a pleasant last experience before leaving France. It may have been the taxi driver who was bad, and may not be the hotel’s fault, but we wished it hadn’t happen. Otherwise, it was a nice and brief hotel at the hotel, and we would use it again.

The staff! Both the night and morning staff were polite, agreeable and helpful. Note that if you take a room with shared shower, you can either present you ID or pay 20 euros at the front for a hairdryer :)

I don't think that's the responsibility of the hotel itself, but it's a bit stupid to need a time reservation for a bus shuttle from the airport, as we can't possibly know in advance if the flight will be late or how far our terminal will be from terminal 2... for people who can't access internet upon arriving, that's probably a big problem.

Check in was a breeze, check out, even more so. The room was basic but clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was decent. The paid airport shuttle (i.e., not free) which must be pre-booked online is not necessary since there are nearby bus routes that go to to the airport. However, it provides an extra sense of comfort that you'll make your flight on time. Note, the airport shuttle leaves bang on time so don't be late!

The sound proofing could be better compared to other nearby hotels. The shower water could have been warmer but I'm nitpicking.

This is where booking rating fails- it is a simple concept for a budget value for money. People give 7 so it is low rated but actually in its category it is perfect - clean simple and convenient. The bathroom is outside for most rooms (Photos missleading) but it is the same as in expensive capsules... Bed is comfy and heating is good. they keep it all clean. Staff was friendly. This is the Idea and it works well for this idea.

I gave it 8 and not 10 just for the shower - this timer makes you tiered. I like sustainability and can pay price but this one is not logical - you need to press over and over again - like 20 -30 for shower it is not logical. Also there should be a soap in the sink inside the room.

I have stayed in this hotel two years ago and this time the stay was much better. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Even offered free snack couple evenings. We could get watter and juice each night for free. Breakfast was 100% better than two years ago. Great location - walking distance to the exhibition center. I am looking forward to come back in two years.

What we like is the staff's. Very reachable and they always clean the room everyday even if we left it messy due to rushing for touring in the city.

The size of the room. Our room is good for 1 person only but its managable since we are a couple.
