The breakfast was great and the guest service was very friendly

Parking was bad, not enough parking for guest and the streets where blocked to access the hotel no proper detour. I am not from Tallahassee had to go down many dead end scary streets to get to the back side of the hotel didn't feel safe on back road making u-turns as a female alone

I love this hotel. It is my preferred hotel when I drive my son to FSU or pick him up. The staff is so friendly and always very helpful. The rooms are nicely decorated and even the single rooms have a couch, which I especially love when i am there for more than one day. The property is very clean, and the beds are super comfortable. The hotel is located close to FAMU and is just minutes from FSU. I love the quirky Railroad Arts District where the hotel is located.

I would suggest having breakfast run until 11. I drive my son to FSU from South Florida and always arrive late. After the long drive I like to sleep in so I always miss breakfast.

The staff were nice, friendly,& helpful. Everything was nice & clean. The king suite with the sofa bed and kitchenette was cozy & comfortable. We only stayed one night, so we didn’t really get a chance to utilize the kitchen but it was ready for use with a cute little mini stove, fridge, dishes & cookware. They even had a mini bottle of dish detergent. The sofa bed was a small sectional and my 3 kids slept comfortably. Breakfast included was also a plus.

We were charged $15 for parking which I think is a rip off because we had to park our own vehicle & parking space is very limited. We were also charged twice for parking because we booked two rooms, but there was only one vehicle. So I had to call and request a refund, which I did receive. I would have liked to have more breakfast options & breakfast ended at 9 instead of 10 which seemed to have been an issue with other guests as well. We checked in around 8:30.We were a little bit disappointed that the bar closed at 9:30.

Location and it is a nice hotel

Phone kept waking us up during the night beeping. Had to unplug it and turn off hand set. There is construction going on in the area, which we understand. It’s going to look great once done. Noise wasn’t a problem from construction during our stay but regular vehicles that were louder woke us up a number of times during the night. The AC in our room even set at 64 didn’t feel 64. Maybe because we were the last room on the hallway? However, even with these issues we would most likely stay again.

We had an excellent stay. Lovely property, immaculate and welcoming. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. Loved the room; it was the perfect combination of a comfortable bed, spacious bathroom along with a sitting area and kitchen. Perfect for our needs.

Breakfast was typical fare with choices I generally don't like such as gravy, greasy sausage and mediocre, lukewarm scrambled eggs. At least they provided salsa and other items to put on the eggs. I would prefer healthier options such as fresh cut fruit, yogurt, nuts.

Good location for me. Staff was friendly and responsive. Room was good size. Nice breakfast.

In my opinion, the cleaning of my room could have been better. On the bathroom sink, there was part of the previous guests bar soap or something. The faucet and the toilet also just weren’t spotless. I could see lots of fingerprints on the mini fridge. Maybe I’m just being too picky, but I don’t want see any signs that someone else has stayed in “my” room.

The location was great. Room was clean and spacious and modern. Hotel was very quiet during the night, the outside street was also quiet, so I had a great nights sleep. Staff was pleasant. I didn't have time to use the gym or pool but they looked clean and nice.

I ordered food and they called me when it was ready, but it was almost cold by the time I got it to my room. Thinking it sat for a bit before I got called. The room was pricey because there was an event in town. So the night I stayed I had to pay more than the normal price. The hotel was nice and I would stay again.

Richard at reception was extremely helpful. Our room was super clean and the beds were very comfortable. Break.fast was also delicious with quite a variety to choose from. The hotel is an easy walk to the university and College town. The best choc chip cookies we have ever had were served as a guest snack upon our arrival

Bit of a schlep to get to town and the university from the hotel due to the roadworks. I am sure this will be sorted out very soon though.
