Very good location. Good price, nice personal. When we came the room was very clean, it was great. The woman on the desk allowed us to go into room at two hours early then we paid, we are so thankful her for it.

But during the 7 days we lived there, the room was cleaned only once and then only after I asked. And that's just the bathroom. No one replenished the supplies of soap, toilet paper and coffee. Every time I had to ask for it, I felt uncomfortable. No one changed the bed linen or vacuumed. Apparently this hotel is not designed for long stays, but only for 1-2-3 nights.

Very affordable. Great location in aspects to local shops and food and off the main drag. Loved that pet owners can travel with their pets stress free.

Thought the exterior looked a little run down and the pool was small for a hotel of this size. Did not like the whole breakfast idea. Staff weren't very helpful and didn't see a menu. People do not like dealing with others for a hotel breakfast. Make a self-serve area and cut the crap. The coffee pot!! I would like to make my own POT of coffee in my room not this single serve with yuck coffee. I bring my own just can't use in these silly machines

Some things seemed a little out dated the only mirror in my room was in the bathroom and the elevator button on the first floor was very loose.

We knew we weren't going to be in our room very much on this trip. It was just a short visit with family, 2 nights. So we booked a very affordable hotel and that is what we were expecting. You know what I mean when I say "affordable"... The Sonesta in Novi far exceeded our expectations. The staff was warm and friendly, the property was clean and well maintained. And our mattress. It was AMAZING. I have never slept so well in a hotel in all my years of travel. We are planning a return trip to Michigan in August and we will definitely stay here again when we're in the Detroit area.

The price was great and the staff were awesome. It was very busy and the staff were running around constantly. Everytime we needed something they were quick to help with our request and did it with a smile. They were also very friendly.

The pool was a bit cold.

breakfast was grab and go and was perfect for us. the location was great. near so many things to do, shopping and restaurants. Perfect for our stay.

Our television only got two channels. We were told the first night we couldn't be moved because other guests were still arriving. We were moved to another room the next morning. We fell we should have been moved the first night. Morning staff took care of it right away- greatly appreciated.

Indoor pool and the hotel was clean

The restaurant. They charge for breakfast but it appears to be microwave food. Cable tv only really works in the lobby. The available channels in the room are local stations

All staff except were exceptional except a male housekeeping member crowded my exit from the elevator. He walked in while I was trying to exit. I wouldn’t even do that to other guests. How rude!!!

The microwave didn't work But they replaced it ....only to get another microwave that didn't work. But everything else was accommodating

The location was outstanding! In a huge shopping center, with everything you could need or want, also literally around the corner from a Walmart. Everyone found somewhere to go in the immediate area.

They had absolutely NO breakfast. No "grab an go", no box cereal and milk, or bananas and apples, nothing - though it WAS advertised as having breakfast. An oversight that could be easily corrected online – at least then I would have been prepared for paying for a few more family meals during our stay. Also, not a huge deal, bit they don't have microwave's in the room, so no warm leftovers from all the yummy restaurants we found in the area.
