The front desk staff is nothing short of exceptional. The staff in the food service areas in my opinion are nothing short of professional courteous and very well trained and customer oriented. I've been stuck here for days on end due to some other than pleasant circumstances and my experience with this hotels staff has made my stay a very wonderful experience during some other than optimum circumstances. From the front desk to food service to the sales manager I must say that I've not been treated this well possibly ever and that speaks volumes for a man that has been traveling for 40+ years. I hesitate to mention names for fear of leaving ones out but Georganna at front desk as well as Ashley and the other managers to Shane in food service and Cris the director of sales and marketing as well as all others I've had an interaction with have provided nothing short of exemplary service and should be recognized for their efforts.

I have zero complaints about any employee on any level or in any position. Again I suggest that the staff here be recognized for their abilities and the service they provide.

I really liked the front desk staff. They were very kind and welcoming when we arrived. They also looked up my membership and applied my points for this visit. That was exceptional customer service proving that going above and beyond to meet and exceed guests expectations is a normal practice and it should not go unnoticed!

Our experience in the restaurant was less than stellar. We ordered an appetizer and two meals. The appetizer came, but it took a very long time for the entrees to come. The bartender came and informed us that what we ordered was not thawed out and could not be prepared right away after we had already waited almost 45 minutes. So we changed one of the meals to the same thing to make it easier. The bartender offered to take the meal off of the tab which we appreciated. That was very nice of her. However, the lack of prompt notice of this made us late to our engagement. I’m not sure if it was miscommunication or oversight, but this is a teachable moment for all I’m sure. We’re all human so I understand ppl make mistakes.

We loved everything about our stay. We arrived and checked in. I asked about the indoor pool since we knew they had one and my nephew was excited to use it. Unfortunately it was closed due to maintenance. Then the room we were supposed to have with a tub did not have one. And the check in host let me know and she saw we were disappointed. She immediately upgraded our room. I mean like really upgraded. I've never seen such an amazing room. Our jaws literally hit the floor . The room had 2 bathrooms, full kitchen, living room, master bedroom, working area. It was stunning. All the staff we ran into and talked to were super friendly. The hotel and the restaurant were super cleaned. We really loved our stay and will probably be booking again soon. Hopefully the pool will be open. But my wife and nephew and I were very happy. I love the property and the bar in the hotel. Food is amazing. Todd (restaurant manager) and Michelle (bartender) are amazing people and take the time to speak with us one on one. Amazing experience

Everything was phenomenal. Stayed here 3 times in the past year and will be back around August/september timeframe. Not one bad thing to say about the doubletree!!

Modern, spacious, great pool with plenty of sunloungers/chairs. Food very tasty.

Toilets in pool area did not work. No free coffee in main Reception area. Expensive drinks. Being given a room where they knew aircon did not work. Not controlling school trip kids who ran amok throughout the hotel in two days/nights.

I thought the staff was friendly and accommodating. When I asked the housekeeper for extra towels when she cleaned the room, she left two extra fluffy and clean towels.

I thought the rugs in the hallway gave off a strange muffy odor that was unpleasant when walking to the elevator from my room.

This hotel is my husband and I's favorite hotel of all time! We stay here anytime we go to Pittsburgh. They have an amazing bar and restaurant and the staff have always been so kind and helpful. The rooms are nice and comfy as well! I definitely recommend.

like the location and the amenities that were available ...even late night. i found the staff to be quite helpful particualrly at the front desk as well as at the bar. Look forward to visiting again to see the steelers play!

i would think the bar could have been open a bit later, particularly on weekends i.e. Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights

We stayed at Doubletree for a volleyball camp that was at the fitness center behind the hotel. We were able to get our girls Starbucks at the hotel and something for breakfast before going to volleyball. Worked great for our stay. Comfy clean rooms and very friendly staff. Would definitely stay again.

The outdoor pool area was nice. Parking was ample. Our room was quiet and the beds were comfortable. It was great to have a big closet, a safe, and a refrigerator. There were a lot of elevators so we were able to avoid the lobby area. It was still a long walk to our room. Even though we arrived on a busy Friday night, there were plenty of luggage carts.

The hotel was very busy. At times this impacted the cleanliness of the common areas but the staff were trying to keep up. I received an email offer for upgrades. I requested an upgrade but never heard back. I called on the day of my arrival and left a voicemail for a manager. I never received a return call. I thought the value was lacking being that there didn't seem to be much in the area. We picked this hotel as it was a pickup spot for a concert but I wouldn't necessarily choose to stay here again. The ice machines on multiple floors didn't work. No cookies when we checked in.
