The location was excellent and so was the breakfast. Pleasant staff eager to help. Also, checkin went really smoothly, without a hiccup.

The furniture showed a lot of age and use unfortunately. Not really in line with what the pictures show (they show the rooms in pristine condition, which they are not). In short, would expect a bit more from 4 star hotel in that regard.

Soho Boutique hotel is situated few minutes walk from Blaha Lujza Tér, intersection of metro and buses. It takes around 17 minutes to go by river by walk. There are many bars and restaurants around hotel, what was more than welcomed as many restos and bars close after 10 PM during workdays in old town. Next to hotel is 24/7 grocery store with very nice prices. Soho hotel has small rooms, be aware, that's why it is called as Boutique. We had no problem with as we were mostly outside enjoying city :) Breakfast were satisfying - ham, cheese, eggs, sausages, yoghurts, fruits, soya and coconut milks....and many possibilities of vegetables (lettuce, rucola, radish, tomato..) what we were happy about! The staff is very nice, polite and helpful :) The biggest advantage is private garage parking the hotel has. The parking garage is small and should be better organised but we made it with our almost 5 metres long car without any bigger issue (and next to us was parking a car of same size). If you don't have skills with parking in small area, you can always leave your car on street in front of hotel (that's paid as well, sometimes free during weekends). What we liked: -Staff is very nice! -Location, metro station 3 minutes away by walk -Soya milk and variant of vegetables at breakfast -Private parking garage (20 euros per night, you need to make a reservation) -24/7 grocery store in front of hotel -Reasonable price for accommodation

What needs to be improved: -Better organised parking in garage (a lot of space is consumed by unwise storages) -Cleanliness!!! - I was grateful that I went through comments before we accommodated. It was mentioned there that towels were dirty so I packed our own. One our towel was from make up! (was it even changed?) After this finding we were using only our towels. Dust almost everywhere, on shelves, on TV, on mirror in bathroom.. no idea if the room was not used for longer time or cleaning ladies are not precise. Shower-floor is quite outdated, preferably use filp-flops. Note to hotel: Please, be careful about the cleanliness, your hotel is very nice, well located but all experience can be spoiled only because of dirty towels.

Christian (?) at the reception was awesome! The breakfast was great but I would have loved a smile from any of the breakfast staff members. The cleaning lady on 5th floor was really nice and smiling, great start of my days! The location of the hotel was perfect, easy to get wherever we wanted to.

Me and my friend booked ourselves double rooms but there where two beds sliding apart whenever you moved a little. My room was by the smoking balcony so the awful smell got inside and even woke me up. The door to the corridor must have been paper thin or missing something around it because I could hear every step moving, or word said in the hallway or staircase. A howling dog kept me up for hours. An idea: there are small soft pieces to tape on to (under) the breakfast chairs "feet" at IKEA and other stores, the screaming sound from moving chairs in the morning was not pleasant 😅

Air con needs replaced. Very hot at times

Great hotel, fantastic location for the sightseeing bus, it was round the corner from the New York Cafe number 11. The hotel was lovely and clean and the bed was very comfortable. We had a room at the back of the hotel which was lovely and quiet. The breakfast was basic but sufficient. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a fantastic welcome when arriving at 3am. We would return to this hotel.

A lovely little hotel. Breakfast was superb, with lots of choices, waffles, pancakes, cooked meats, cereals, beans, sausages, toasts, cakes etc. The bar had Happy hours every evening with 2 cocktails for the price of one. At check in they gave you information for restaurants, tourist bus, spas etc. The tourist bus stops close by. The room was warm and comfortable.

The room was a bit dated. The lady on the bar(the one evening that we used it) was a bit miserable and made it look like we were asking for more than her jobs worth, when we asked for a drink. She rolled her eyes at me. She was sitting on a stool doing nothing.

The location was brilliant. You could walk almost anywhere, metro stops very close by as well. Breakfast had a huge selection

As much as the hotel gave us what we needed - bed and breakfast, I definitely wouldn't call it 4star hotel. The bed was comfortable but the size of the room was pretty small. The shower was very strangely designed which is maybe fine for a couple but I definitely wouldn't feel comfortable staying with a friend. Shampoo and soap was almost non existent,you better off to buy your own, towels also saw better times. But as I said,we just spent time there to sleep and we're off after breakfast. Also if it's a 4* maybe kettle or coffee maker would be nice to have in the room

We needed a 1 night stay between flights, this was the perfect booking for us, close to the bus station that leads to and from the airport, but also in the center of Budapest. The room was not that big, being December, the room temperature was very hot, i think the heat was coming from the bathroom radiator, because the heating in the room was off. The bathroom was clean and had all the necessaries and appliances, including hair dryier, and all of them were functioning properly. The room was also clean with comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast was also included in the price, which was fresh, diverse and delicious. You could also make your own waffles, they provided the dough. Overall, a good experience!

Hotel is located in a location that is very close to nightlife and walking distance of the main tourist attractions. Very friendly staff and good hours for breakfast.

Room was functional - small, but provided the essentials. Would be great if breakfast could be improved a little (more fresh fruit, butter, and bacon).

The location was amazing ! The hop on hop off bus was a 1 minute walk from the hotel all the main attractions were within walking distance couldn’t fault it the rooms were small but the bed was so comfy the shower was amazing really powerful and hot and it was spotless clean just what you want for a city break perfect for a couple of nights would recommend it to anyone the staff Christian and everyone were so lovely and helpful a real credit to the hotel

There was no tea making facilities in the room but the coffee at breakfast was lovely so not really a negative
