We had an apartment on the first floor, the entrance was off the courtyard. Parking on the street, fairly close to about everything, fully equipped kitchen - including a roll of paper towel! Comfortable bed. Nice bathroom - one strange thing about it was the fact that it’s window was tall and facing the entrance gate. You had to make sure that the drapes were completely closed or you could be sitting on the toilet completely visible from the entrance snd even from the street.

This thing about the window in the bathroom and the fact that I could hear every noise from the courtyard - there were other renters who were leaving very early and I could hear walking and talking. I had an issue with WiFi but my husband didn’t.

The room was perfect for two people. It was essentially a large rectangular room divided in two by the kitchen. Nice sized room and comfortable chairs in the living area.

We were unable to watch tv because it and the subtitles were both in French. We weren’t able to use the coffee maker or induction burners because there were no English directions. Also the oven was a challenge but we were able to figure it out. I know we should have called and asked for help but it wasn’t ever a convenient time to do so. Not blaming the owners as we chose not to message them. Redoing the welcome book to include more would be my only suggestion.

The location is superb,,, a few hundred meters from the Cathedral, close to bustling downtown but just far enough away to be quiet. The building was impressive and well maintained for its age. The apartment was a good size, well equipped and clean. The breakfast was excellent in both quality and quantity.

The staircase up to the second bedroom was precipitous and unfinished, letting down the rest of the apartment badly. It was difficult to get suitcases up to that room, and it was difficult to get down to the bathroom on the floor below in the night because while there was a drop on one side there was no handrail on either side. I should clarify that we had to go downstairs in the dark because although the website information said there were two bathrooms, the one upstairs had no toilet.

The apartment was in a great location for all the sites in Bayeux. It was well equipped, clean and comfortable. The bedding was lovely and clean and the apartment had everything that was needed. Would highly recommend this accommodation.

The satellite TV didn't work and wasn't connected to the WiFi. Some instructions of how it should work would help. The toilet seat was lose and needs tightening as this was quite dangerous for our elderly mother.

The rooms were updated and clean. All of the members of our group were very positive about the facilities. We were met by a staff member when we were checking in, and she was helpful because the email that was sent included codes but did not specify which of the rooms we would be staying in. This facility worked well for our group of two couples and two sisters.

One of the rooms separated the toilet from the rest of the bathroom. This was ok in theory but not so great in practice. This would have been better if there had been a wash basin in the toilet compartment, but there was not, and the toilet facilities were located near the door of the apartment. The nearest basin was in the kitchen area - separated from the toilet by a hallway, and the other basin was in the bathroom, separated by a hallway, the living room, and then the bedroom.

Very convenient and central location. Property had been thoughtfully converted into an apartment. Had been done to a high standard. Bed was very comfortable. Small kitchen and living area. Bedroom screened off with glazed partition. Perfect for couple or solo taveller.

Entry was by a code which was sent to you digitally at 3 pm. It was efficient and had no trouble accessing the property. However it is always better to be greeted by a person and given a brief introduction to the property.

A beautifully appointed studio appartment with everything necessary for preparing a light meal. Super location in Bayeux for short walk to historic, restaurant & shopping centre. Comfy bed. Clean & tidy. Were it not for the many flights of stairs to room 8, poor WiFi and unprofessional communication it would have been perfect and exceeded my expectations.

The 3 and half flights of stairs up to room 8 with luggage. The TV did not work initially and there was an unprofessional response telling us we had "messed up the settings". We had not. With no instruction from owners my husband worked out he had to restart the satellite box and unplug and replace a cable (maybe poorly connected) to get it to work. This would have been beyond many people. The WiFi signal at top of house is very poor. My husband had to go down the appartment stairs to get a reliable signal. Amplifier required. When I communicated the lack of wifi signal to owners they did not reply yet replied to other messages.

Well located only 5-10 minutes from the town centre and all attractions, with the added bonus of free on-street parking and being easy to find. Great to be left some essentials like tea & coffee, and noted there were things like oil, salt & pepper which had we wanted to cook would have been really helpful.

The upstairs bedroom (which we didn't use) with its rather rustic / chipboard appearance is a little out of character for the rest of the lovely appartment

The location was great for getting to restaurants, bakery, butcher and small grocery store. The bed was comfortable. Modern renovations to a lovely old building. Good wifi connection.

There was no hanging space for clothes. It wasn't set up for real cooking. Okay for a short stay when you're less likely to cook. Some directions on how to use the stove top and heated towel rack would be helpful in the information booklet.

The Au Loup Historic Apartments are located near the town centre of Bayeux in a lovely neigborhood. You can park free in the street if there is a parking spot available. The apartments are clean and well-equipped. We choose the a breakfast basket and we absolutely loved it. We never met our host in person but he provided us all the informations that we needed for our short stay. We really loved both the town and the apartment. Thank you very much!
