Wow. Stayed at Le Clos Sainte-Marguerite in Mid September and it was really quite extraordinary. Estelle's attention to detail provided an amazing room (ground floor in our case) that was incredibly large, quiet, and luxurious as a French time capsule. Location is astounding. Just outside what can be considered the hustle & bustle of this great small town, it's a relatively short walk to everywhere. Take time to chat with Arnaud, he loves it. If you make your reservation with enough time to spare see if he can get you a reservation at Caves Madeleine the Michelin Star restaurant owned by Estelle and her Husband Marcel. You definately with not be sorry. What can we say? Everything was fantastic! Thank you Again!

If you arrive by train it is a bit of a walk with luggage from the station. Ask if they can get you a taxi upon arrival as taxis are not normally available or waiting at the Train Station. As we came by train, I do not know where guests park their autos.

This bed and breakfast was the french countryside stay of my dreams! The apartment was absolutely fabulous. It is in the city center but is about 4 blocks away from the main square. It is close to everything and somehow feels like you are tucked away in a serene smaller village. Gorgeous courtyard, well secured and felt very safe. The apartment had a beautiful modern bathroom, large bed (which was SO comfortable) and a spacious living room. The breakfast spread was delightful and set in the most charming shared space. Such a perk! The hosts were incredibly kind and extremely helpful. They were easy to communicate with via Booking.com and by text as we had a delay arriving into town. I dreamt of staying in a beautiful french apartment and this place far exceeded my wildest expectations. I would 100% return. Thank you so much for making our stay so wonderful!

Feel like I have discovered a gem I don't want many people to know about, but I own a praise to the excellent team behind Le Clos Sainte-Marguerite. 5 rooms only, we stayed in room 3 which is spacious and split-level. The bed and the shower are so good, I could only leave the room at midday the next day. The decoration is a wonderful mix of retro and period furniture and exquisite decorative pieces. Burgundian honesty bar: a cupboard full of wonderful wines you can pick up for your room or enjoy in the patio. Breakfast with all the French delights and fruit salad which seemed to have been hand-selected with not a rotten berry in sight. The hotel also has a very popular restaurant with Green Star from Michelin which is a short walk away. They can take care of the reservation. I wouldn't be staying anywhere else in Beaune.

We loved the uniqueness of this place. The reception/breakfast room is an incredibly charming location to have a nice breakfast every morning. Our room, perhaps more fitting to call it an apartment, was spacious, clean, with nice touches in each space that made us feel at home. The beds were comfortable with high quality bedding. The employees are attentive and cheerful. They seem to be proud of this little gem, and rightfully so.

It is difficult to find anything to complain about.

Arnaud is an amazing host. Property is beautiful and authentic. Very central and accessible; breakfast beautiful. Absolutely wonderful place. I will stay here again (in fact I have - one week later). Thank you Arnaud and team.

If you have a large SUV you will need to park on street which is not a problem as it is safe and spaces were available when visiting. During the summer this may present a challenge?

Our stay here was great. From the owner meeting us upon arrival, taking our heavy bag up to our room and then parking our car. Other staff were just as attentive. Wonderful breakfast in the B&Bs reception area, served by another gracious staff. Location was convenient to everything. We can not say enough about how Wonderful our stay here was. Le Clos de Sainte-Marguerite was an incredibly beautiful property. The historical aspect of the property made it a place to stay with double value.....the room was elegant, spacious and very comfortable, and we felt like we were staying in a French museum, without going to a museum! Many of the paintings, decorations, sconces, etc. go back hundreds of years. The rooms surround a beautiful courtyard; one morning we were served breakfast there. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. The towels were the plushest towels we've ever experienced in a B & B or Inn. Arnaud and Estelle were lovely hosts...friendly, warm, helpful, and very accessible. They both made us feel so at home and pampered!

Not a thing

Beautiful property in a perfect location. Our room was very large, spotless, quiet and had an extremely comfortable bed, as well as excellent AC. Breakfast selection was relatively small (there are only a few rooms) but high quality and the 24hr honor bar/coffee station was a great touch. Private parking was just down the street.

Only a few details to improve: - There were theoretically 2 bikes available for guests, but one of them was broken - Add some international TV channels - Put lighting in the closets (they were in a dim part of the room)

Great location - everything was within easy walking distance. Very spacious rooms - loved having a living area and separate bedroom. Breakfast was a plus and Estelle and Arnaud were very welcoming and helpful.

The bedroom was upstairs from the bathroom - only negative! But it was manageable. However I may have chosen another room had I realized there were two sets of stairs

Amazing location. Estelle the owner was so welcoming and helpful. Arnauld who works there was so helpful looking after me . He sent a message with photos explaining about my late check in and parking my car . He really went out of his way to help never had such amazing service . Thank you

Nothing it was all fantastic like being in my own beautiful home . Felt very safe there and location was so close to everything.
