Superb location, friendly staff.

This is a charming hotel right in the center of Beaune. The rooms are lovely, the staff are all courteous, thoughtful, and considerate, and even the minimal breakfast that I paid for (not the more expensive, all-you-can-eat one) was delicious, filling and very reasonably priced. It has a bar and several pleasant sitting/relaxing reception rooms, and the views from the windows into this quaint town are special. I will always stay here when I come back to Beaune!

My only provisos are that there is no air-conditioning (but the windows open wide and they provide fans; I was fine) and there is no elevator, so you have to walk up to your room with your luggage (but the stairs are not steep and are wide, so I found that to be no problem). And one tiny, additional quibble: when I asked for a glass of white wine at the bar, the otherwise very nice server brought me practically the most expensive white wine among a number of options, most cheaper. With this much variance in cost, he should have asked me first.

Le Central Boutique Hotel is probably the best place to stay in Beaune. The place is lovely, common spaces are beautifully furnished and staff is very nice and helpful, they help me rent a bike and let me keep it in their garage for the time needed during my stay. The host, Edgar, managed to build a very familiar environment, it really feels like home. Also, it's close to anything you'll ever need. I blow my birthday candle here, it has been my best stop in Burgundy!

My room was a little small and old, but still comfy! In March they were renovating and building new suites, I am pretty sure they will be done by now, the place will look fab!

The host was the shining gem at the centre of this experience (give this guy a bonus!). He showed us the best places to eat and even booked us a last-minute wine tour which was fab. Plus, Beaune itself is a beautiful place.

No hot water, but TBH, I love a cold shower!

Location was excellent in the heart of Beaune. Bed and pillows very comfortable, we slept well. Air conditioning was effective and quiet. Large bathroom with 2 sinks and separate toilet. Friendly staff. Nice bay lounge downstairs and games / reading room on 1st floor. Buffet breakfast had good choice

We arrived on Wednesday, luckily before 9 as reception closes early! There is no bar or food on Wednesday. Room lighting very poor, would not be suitable for a business traveller who needs to work.

The very best location in Beaune. In a walk distance frommain points, public free parking and surrounded by a lots of restaurants. Fair breakfast, good internet and very friendly staff.

Actuality nothing at all. The only inconvenience is the stairs.

Great communications for check-in by the staff. We had water provided and everything was clean. The bedding was oké for the price. The location of the hotel is great.

I arrived at 22h00 and left at 6 in the morning. The stop was to get some sleep during my long car travel, and to take a shower. Sadly the shower pressure was extremely low, too low to have a nice hot shower. I did not shower in the morning as the shower was so bad on my arrival.

Such a nice hotel! Great attention to detail, the room was beautifully decorated and super clean and comfortable. Delicious breakfast was served in a very nice room. All in all It felt so much better than staying in one of the big chain hotels that you will also find in and around Beaune. Plenty of restaurants and bars at walking distance. Parking Des Chanceliers just five minutes walk away (+/- 10€ for a day). Don’t forget to visit the Hôtel-Dieu, the amazing 15th century Hospices de Beaune (they open at 9hrs). Le central boutique hotel offers everything you want for a perfect stop-over! We will certainly be back on our next trip to France.

We had room 42 which has recently been redone and is spacious+ and beautiful. The staff were excellent - friendly, kind, and supportive of all our needs Location is fabulous!

Breakfast is just ok

where to start....okay, in the very center of everything in Beaune. comfy bed, nice pillows, air conditioning, window to an inner courtyard Free sparkling water and regular water. hot water pot. tea and coffee packets. toilet is in its own little room across from shower and sink. it's a real tight squeeze to get into and out of. this may just be this particular room, so ask, perhaps, particularly if you are a large sized person. quiet and without street noise. no elevator, not a problem for us, but could be difficult if you have mobility issues. restaurant and bar on site.
