Delightful, slightly old-fashioned hotel. Easy to find, easy to park. Good value for money. The interior has the most lovely old-fashioned lift and banister (a newer lift is in use too!), and a pleasant garden at the back. The beds were extremely comfortable, the bathroom large and spacious. What made our stay outstanding was the quality of the staff. A pleasant girl checked us in, provided recommendations for restaurants and a list of taxi firms. However, it was the following morning on check-out that the hotel shone. Emmanuel had heard a bus collide with a car (our car) had rushed out and taken photos of the accident. When we came down, he explained what had happened, rang the bus company for us (who immediately accepted responsibility), and took us and the car (damaged only slightly, luckily) to the bus station & made sure that we were being properly treated. We'd certainly come back here (though we might park off-road next time), partly to eat again at Le Coq'Hôte (just some of the best food I've ever had, and not expensive) and partly to enjoy proper French hospitality.

Not the hotel's fault, but not one of a dozen or so taxi companies was available at 19:30. The room manual was available only via a QR code and a download file - not the easiest if you don't have a mobile phone. To get the AC switched on, we had to ring reception. A bit odd, but not really a complaint.

It is well situated and has a big park. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and great if you need to work

They lock the front door when there’s noone at the front desk so I once had to wait 10min to be let back in but that’s quite rare I think!

Nice room in a traditional style French hotel. Good buffet style breakfast. Secure parking. Useful with a car loaded with luggage.

The breakfast was in a very nice room with a high ceiling with lots of sunlight. It was easy to find exactly what was desired for breakfast, and a nice server brought the desired coffee and teas.

It was the end of the tourist season, but the staff was still ready to serve their guests. No complaints.

I liked the location and the small park at the back of the hotel.we took a comfort room. It was very clean and quiet. Staff was great throughout our stay. Breakfast was very good. We enjoyed it very much.

The garden , some of the retained architectural features , and being pet friendly. Must have been a magniifiicent grand hotel in the heydays of railway travel.

Limited facilities, eg no bar or lounge area, essentially its a B&B hotel but comfortable and central. Shame that there’s no history to be found of the building or its heritage, ( even after asking) nevertheless a good quality cantilevered marble staircase still intact and a magniificent Hausemann era wooden caged lift in situ, ( not in use but there is a modern lift avaiilable).

Everything you would want from a hotel, very attentive staff, excellent location, all in a classical building with a garden that is exceptional. If you are traveling with a pet this is the place to stay.

Comfortable room that suited well, nice bathroom, secure off street parking & friendly staff. Good value for money.

Would have been great to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

Parking. I was told I could park on the street in front of the hotel but I was given a parking ticket.

Air Con not working and room was quite warm and too noisy to open window.
