The breakfast was self-service and there was a good choice. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has recently been renovated to a very high standard. The restaurant in the photos of the hotel is across the road - there is another (more expensive) one inside the hotel. We had dinner in the less expensive one - it was good value.

Parking - in the square - could be a problem. There are not many spaces and the surrounding streets are very narrow so it might be necessary to park some distance away if the square is full.

My time in Poncin France was the best of the entire trip. The owners of the the Hotel De La Croisee are the most caring and generous couple, their attention to detail and making sure that you are well taken care of was outstanding. The meals served were 5 star quality. I cannot thank them enough and I sure hope to get back there again for another wonderful visit. Thank you both!!

Very charming village, the restaurant was fine and the welcome very friendly. The family room nice spacious, beds comfortable and good shower. Overall just fine for what we needed. We much prefer this to a low price highway hotel. We stayed one night on our way to the Alps for skiing and it is on our list for return when we visit the area again.

Awful journey thur France due to Eurotunnel fiasco and freezing fog all the way thru France. Arrived at 11pm and shown rooms which were good and comfortable. Breakfast was continental but the cheeses and coissants were wonderful. A good start to the days travel

We booked this hotel at very short notice as we needed somewhere to stay after driving back to England from Italy. What an amazing little place! The room was a family room and was decorated beautifully and really clean. The staff were really helpful and the breakfast was amazing. Wish we could stay another night as we wanted to explore the little village where the hotel was located.

The location was perfect for us to spend the night between our holiday address and our home address. The staff (English speaking) was very friendly and the dinner was superior. A typical French breakfast. The room is very modern, equipped with a lovely shower and a good bed.

Bed super comfy. Host very friendly. The room was ok for one person. The shower box wasn't large enough for me and I am not that tall, only 5'7. The shower nozzle could only be positioned horizontally, which I found a bit uncomfortable to point the stream down. The hot water is way too hot if you are not careful with the tap. I booked there because of the price and vicinity of where I was. The only think I would improve is the breakfast. It was full of cheese, but not ham or eggs or any other nutrient ingredients. There was only one croissant and a couple of plum-cakes. Not a lot of choices. Overall I was very satisfied even though of the few odds here and there. I slept very well for 12 hours and had a pleasant stay until I left early in the morning. I would recommend for a night or two.

Shower nozzle horizontal position only. Try to fix that and would be fine. Be careful with going all hot water because is deadly boiling. Point water mixer in the middle. Breakfast a bit lousy with only cheese and 1 croissant.

We had a top room which was newly decorated, and very pleasant. The town itself was beautiful little village. This was only our pit stop driving from Italy, and we were so surprised by the village and it's beauty.

I would have appreciated one extra pillow (softer) in a cupboard, for those who cannot get comfy!

The room was comfortable and the building appeared to be freshly renovated. Very clean and enjoyed the stay

Limited menu and sadly it was let down by too many flies around the uncovered buffet style breakfast area. Shame really.

Breakfast was excellent. Good coffee, fresh bread and croissants. The owners were very helpful and friendly and we had an excellent simple dinner there too.
