Book Santa Fe if you want a less-expensive Disney Hotel. The biggest two benefits to this hotel: 1) Gives you the extra hour of hotel-guest only access to the parks (allowed us 4 rides in a park before the standard entrance started); 2) It's within walking distance of the parks (15ish minutes). Aside from that, some kids might be excited by the Cars theme and--if you were arriving by train--you could walk 200 meters from the train to the pickup point of the hotel shuttle (that runs all day, every 15-20 minutes or so).

If they had air conditioning, I didn't find it. Hotel is in good shape, but certainly due for a refresh. The onsite restaurant is convenient, but not a highlight. The food is fine; however, the buffet required full payment just to enter and sit down (I.e., I don't eat breakfast, but I got to pay for myself so I could escort my child); unless your family will really enjoy that buffet, there are other options in the Disney village area (for breakfast and dinner) or several places in town for dinner (if you have a car). The shuttle works fine, but it gets crowded and the location it drops you off is still a bit of a walk...if you're able to walk, you're better off walking.

Our family loved the Cars theme and that we got to do the magic hour at the park for 2 days.

The hotel definitely needs some updates, they need to change the light bulbs outside the hotel on top of the buildings where all the little cars lights are. Tons of those lights were out so it looked kind of sad. There was no coffee maker in the room. The towels were paper thin and rough. The room got very cold the first night because the radiator wouldn’t kick on even though I turned it on. For a Disney brand hotel it was kind of underwhelming. They definitely should also have an indoor pool.

Plenty of space for a family of 5 over 2 adjoining rooms. The staff member checking us in (Herve?) was incredibly friendly and informative. Only a 15 minute walk to Disney Village, or a 5 minute ride on the shuttle. Great luggage storage facilities. Starbucks on the premises.

Had do not disturb signs on both our doors as we had 2 family members who were sick and didn’t want to be woken. Housekeeping just kept knocking and knocking until we woke up and opened the door. They were also yelling at each other down the hallways (granted it was mid afternoon and they probably thought all guests were out). Upon arriving at our rooms at 10pm the first night (in the building furthest from the reception) we found our keys hadn’t been activated, so had to trudge all the way back only to have one of the receptionists yell at me that I was in the wrong queue, yet had been told to go there by another staff member.

The Santa Fe is a budget hotel but that doesnt mean you wont have a lovely clean room friendly staff and delicious food. Breakfast buffet every morning is fantastic . The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. En suite bathroom stocked with mini Cars themed toiletries and a safe in each room. Staff are friendly welcoming and helpful. You can meet a disney character each day in the lobby of the hotel. Check times at info desk in reception. There is a bus to disney village every few minutes from outside the main entrance. The whole c omplex is well lit and there is a well lit safe path to disney village if you prefer the walk. There is luggage store free of charge also onsite.

We had interconnecting rooms which was fab. Theming in rooms lovely, beds so so comfy, it was so quiet at night we slept really well. We got our free hot drinks in the morning. Check in was super fast. We only stayed one night as we were moving to the sequoia lodge for our park days but we were v happy to get to experience this hotel. Shop is cute and starbucks on site v handy. I would chose to stay in one of the hotels closer to the park but this would be ideal if you were just looking for a place to lay your head after a long day at the parks.

Its a small bit further from the park than I would like however there is the free shuttle. It was a bit dark walking from the reception to the block where our accomodation was.

I loved the fact that I asked for a room near the bridge because I like to walk to the parks. And I got the nearest one. So happy! Also I had two different booking to the same hotel and they managed to combine my reservations so we didnt have to change rooms after the first night.

I didnt like the other guests in my hotel. Someone had their alarm clock ringing every morning from 6 or 7 and it started to ring 3 times again every morning. Alot of loud people in the hotel and some even smoked inside the hotel.

Staff very friendly and helpful, Starbucks onsite was a great treat and open late. Breakfast had a huge variety which didn't need to be booked in advance so decided on the morning. Rooms had cars themed soap, shower gel, and shampoo. Shower/bath great pressure and lovely and warm.vending machines with snacks, fizzy drinks located in a few hotel corridors(shown on map) also you get a free hot chocolate each day with ur room key. The walk to the park was only 10 mins so you could pop back during the day and head back out again! Great value for money. We will be definitely returning again.

Vending machine wouldn't work for us a few times. We ended up going into main building for a drink at the bar.

The lady who checked us in was amazing and friendly and we were so late arriving she immediately told us to go to the bar and they would give us some food. the theme and attention to detail was brilliant and the staff made me and my daughter feel safe and welcome. The man who served us in the bar was a gent and very obliging . the shuttle was so frequent and we were so close to the parks

I found finding our room very confusing and it was late and we were tired and I didnt understand the map very well. The smell on the corridors was a bit stale and musty. We could have also done with more pillows

Nice themed hotel, close to the Parks. Good transportation facilities. Friendly staff; helpful and quick to aid. Check-in was quick and we were well informed. Parking is close to your room, which is convenient. Nicely themed paths, buildings and rooms. Well outfitted in the Cars theme. The rooms are easy accessible we spacious enough for us. A private bathroom with a sink, toilet ans bath/shower. Amenities included. All was clean and tidy.

Some things feel a bit outdated. Like for instance the bathtub (not worn out, just not of this day and age) and the phone could use an update. We brought a bed for a small child as we could not find info if this was in the room or not. Turned out there wás one, so that is a plus but communications could've been a bit more clear. And yes, it's Disney. But €21,- breakfast a person is not proportional to the offer.
