Fab place to stay, quiet, clean and excellent value. Great location for the market, bars and restaurants. Kind and helpful staff. We have stayed many times.

A USB port for charging devices would have been useful.

A little noisey at first but it all settled down later. Breakfast was adequate for sure. Plenty to choose from. Not sure why I chose this hotel but probably because I didn't have to share a bathroom, so completely private. Shame about lack of parking. I arrived early evening so parking on the street was eventually found and I went before daytime charges came in to effect. Car park tariffs were confusing. Staff friendly and courteous. It was an ideal place for me to stop instead of doing night time driving.

Lack of fresh air. When I opened the window the overpowering coffee fumes forced me to shut it later.

Well, signed and easy to find, check-in was very friendly and smooth. Every interaction with the reception staff was positive and friendly and they were happy to lend us a hairdryer when my Mrs realised there was not one in the room, and she had not bought hers. Breakfast was perfectly adequate and good value for money, and again, the staff were very friendly The very heart of Dieppe is only a two or three minute walk away from this hotel literally just come out the front door do a left and left again and you’re there. For the seafront come out of the hotel turn right, go to the traffic lights and turn right and it’s straight in front of you. Although there is a paid third-party car park next door and paid for on street parking outside the hotel . Really,you don’t need to worry as there is plenty of free parking nearby in Dieppe and in all of our many trips to Dieppe have never had any problems finding free parking spaces, even at the busiest times

The bedroom carpet definitely seen better days On one occasion after our room was cleaned the door was shut, but it was not locked.

The room was great for one nights stay, everything I needed and it was quiet. The breakfast was what you would imagine, continental! (Wonderful and high quality for the price. Recommend). The location is actually perfect - you are just a stones throw from the market (on a Saturday), and all of the best tourist attractions are within easy walking distance (you can even see some of them). Staff were superb. I arrived late, but they accommodated my every need. Slight language barrier upon arrival (excuse my lack of French!), but the lovely lady behind the reception checked me in swiftly. If you try to speak some French, they will appreciate it greatly (google translate works perfectly fine). Would recommend to anyone. Thank you.

Clean and comfortable room at a good price. It is worth paying the extra for the buffet breakfast, as it is quite extensive and makes a good start to the day. Definitely a good deal. Always lovely staff. We travel by bike and there is always a (free) secure space inside the building to store our bikes. Dieppe is a lovely town and this hotel is only a short walk to the harbour and is also close to the SNCF station. Pretty ideal for cyclists. It takes about 10 minutes to cycle to the hotel from the DFDS ferry. We have stayed here before, and will be likely to use this same hotel again, which is probably the best recommendation.

I’ve stayed many times at the Egg. Very convenient and handy for the centre and for driving off into France. Car park right next door for safe parking. Excellent breakfast and very friendly and welcoming staff.

Ask for a room on the front as there’s a nice park opposite to look at from those rooms. The view at the back is really unpleasant and dispiriting which I discovered for the first time yesterday after many stays at the front of the hotel.

The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. Breakfast was ample and of good quality. The staff were very pleasant and helpful too.

It was a bit noisy as the main road was outside and the window was large and only opened inwards, so it was difficult to get some fresh air in the room at nighttime. Oat or nut milk could be offered for lactose intolerant guests. The room provision of tea and coffee was very sparse but we didn’t ask for more and I’m sure the staff downstairs would have been happy to provide more.

The breakfast at the Egg is really very good and one of the better ones that we encountered on the trip from the very south of France. I've said it before, but it's very handy for an excellent car park right next door which is completely secure and not at all expensive for an overnight stay. 11€.

Nothing to really dislike. It's consistently good, friendly and reliable.

Excellently placed hotel central to the shops, bars, restaurant and market. Plenty of reasonably priced parking nearby. Basic room, but clean and cosy, and great triple glazing that ensured we heard no street noise. We had an undisturbed night and slept really well, the bed was very comfortable. The staff are great, so welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was excellent, quality very good, and as many hot drinks refills as you liked. We have been before and will definitely be returning. It is a great place to stay for a weekend break or a stop-over for onward French adventures.

The room was fine and very clean. Completely suitable for one overnight stay. Extra toilet rolls available. Location is fine in the centre of Dieppe with access on foot to good restaurants. I did not have breakfast.

No wardrobe or clothes storage, therefore not really suited for more than 1-2 nights. Very small room and no real desk space for working at a computer if you were on business and needed it. I don't think there was any air conditioning (I didn't need it, large window opening to a yard - I was on 3rd floor so it was safe to leave it open) - I noted a heater on the wall.
