Situated 20 mins from Calais port in a quiet country location. Room was very small but perfectly formed. Luxury bedding and super comfortable bed. Bathroom modern and clean. Restaurant served good food and service was good.

Breakfast was served until 10am but we arrived at 9am to find a lot of things had run out and could not be replaced despite the efforts of our very pleasant waitress ( No croissants left in a French restaurant ! ) Fruit salad appeared to be from a tin and not fresh. No natural yogourt. Cold meats were the remains of the platter. Disappointing in a hotel of this calibre.

It's a pleasant manoir set in its own grounds and within striking distance of the Channel Tunnel. The bed in our room was large, comfortable and with good pillows. The nicely decorated bathroom. The best thing however was dinner. A really fabulous meal. Not cheap but you do get what you pay for. We weren't there long enough to explore the whole building but it is beautifully decorated and is extremely comfortable. The staff were discreet but helpful.

No under cover parking for our two motorcycles especially as the weather was very wet when we arrived and over night. No lift, so you carry your own bags upstairs. No pool or sauna/steam room to relax in after a very long journey. I wish now that I had booked a larger room. Ours was rather small with most of the room taken up by the large bed but okay for an overnight stay. The meal we ate in the restaurant was wonderful but quite expensive (our choice). The property is quite remote so no choice to eat anywhere else without a drive. The booking was for room only, no breakfast included and would have been an extra 16 euros each.

Dinner was excellent. The cuisine is of a very high standard and more than compensated for the slightly limited number of options on the menu. We didn't have breakfast. Our room was one of the smaller sized rooms and less "chateau style" than we had expected but the bed was very comfortable, the bedlinen was high quality. The ensuite was large, with modern fittings and very hot water! Everything in the Chateau was was spotlessly clean. The gardens and grounds were extensive and well maintained. A very enjoyable stay and well worth a visit.

A wider choice on the menu and a slightly more "Chateau " style bedroom.

I loved the building at first sight, and it was not a disappointment inside. Though the driveway had a few potholes which would not upset a normal car, but did affect a low car. Dinner was nice. Though I did not like any of the beers i tried. Cost of drinks soon ads up! Bathroom was good, room was not large but acceptable. fascinating hisory though unsure why the tunnels under the lawn are not studied?

No real complaints ( other than the beer) but if i had a plot like that then I would have some colour in the garden, bulbs possibly under the trees.

Dinners were excellent although there is an additional cost for quite a number of items on the menu. The hotel is in a quiet location and the ambience in the restaurant is usually peaceful bit on one night there was a large group staying which was no doubt good for business but not so welcome by the other guests!

Breakfast is buffet service but unless you get there early there is little left. The reception staff were not particularly welcoming.

The location was perfect in that it was close to our arrival point in France. It was easy to find and conveniently reasonably close to the autoroute south.

Only one fairly minor but surprising failing was the design of the bathroom. In order to look modern there were no glass screens around the shower. When in use water sprayed beyond the tray and dare I say it, in common with most French plumbing-designed in the belief that water runs uphill, the result was a very wet floor!

Good location, 20 minutes from Channel Tunnel. The atmosphere of the venue is very relaxed, parking was plentiful. Check in process simple. Room was comfortable and a good temperature. Restaurant is excellent value for money and the service very good. The food was devine and there was a very good choice of wines. All in all very good value, but it would be wise to ask for a room with a walk in shower if mobility is an issue.

The bathroom was a little weird, there was a shower over the bath, but it could not be used as a shower as the screen was at the other end of the bath. We have never come across this before and all we could think of is that the bath was installed back to front and they didn't notice until it was too late to change it. Ended up sitting in the bath and washing with the shower head in our hands - most inconvenient and if one had mobility issues this would have been a serious issue. Although we were ensured that the room we stayed in was a Superior Room, the promotional pictures suggested we were in a Standard Double - not sure what happened here.

Excellent food and well maintained hotel. Lovely ambiance, close to LeShuttle but far enough and remote enough for quiet stay.

Had to ask for help as wife was in wheelchair. Although we had accessible roof, sprung doors in long corridor and pushing wheelchair/carrying luggage conspired against us. Multiple steps at Hotel entrance where we really struggled. We woke up with floor flooded near bedroom door due to leaking sink drain water. (Hotel deducted breakfast cost at checkout). Make sure you ask for help if accompanying a less able traveller, initially few staff on duty and help (or access ramps) was not readily offered. Different on day of departure as more proactive staff around.

Excellent location close to junction 2 of the A26. Lovely old building with lots of character. Large pleasant room with lovely windows and view over the park. Very good value restaurant.

These are very small points as we enjoyed our stay and will definitely go again. The lighting the room was sparse and not ideal to read small print. The plugs were mainly at floor level and we had to plug the kettle in on our knees!

Good location for the channel tunnel. Very comfortable room and bed and accommodating staff

We don't have huge appetites and to be charged a supplement for sharing a meal is very unfriendly. Diners are not charged a supplement for drinking water with a meal instead of buying a bottle of wine, so I do not understand why we should be charge extra when we do buy wine but do not order more food than we can eat.
