Have stayed before. Used as a stop-over. The hotel is in the heart of St. Omer. Friendly owners and staff. There are choices of places to eat and drink very nearby including the hotel itself. The breakfast is excellent.

We arrived a little too early which made the car parking at the closest car park, (a couple of minutes walk away), the maximum charge of 17 euros. If I remember correctly staying in the car park less than 5 hours,( it's free over night from 6pm to 8am), makes it far cheaper.

Friendly proprietor and healthy breakfast (not hearty). Generally the room was very well appointed, quiet and comfortable. The key box worked well this time.

There were only two drawbacks. First, my room was at the top of two flights of steep stairs. I knew that. Secondly, I did not realise that the hot water would take more than 10 minutes to come through, sometimes never. This was my third stay. I did not remember the hot water problem being so bad.

Location. Perfect for exploring the local area. Lots Bars, Restaurants & Patisserie right on the door step. Currently small Christmas market in Square 2 min.walk away 👍 The restaurant is excellent, a lovely atmosphere, food delicious. Excellent wine. We had breakfast aswell. Breakfast was excellent as usual - we’ve stayed there before. The location is central in an old part of town, some noise from a local bar, but dies down at a reasonable time. Spacious and clean rooms.

The stairs to access are steep and narrow. The hosts are not always there- need to use an external key box to gain access. Unfortunately their excellent restaurant was not open on a Tuesday evening, but there are several other excellent restaurants within 100 metres.

This is a charming little place to stay - if you like to be central and have bars and restaurants literally on the doorstep, it is perfect. We were able to park close by. We did not eat in the restaurant - however the breakfast which was very modestly priced - was superb... home made bread, which was outstanding, delicious yoghurt and lovely local cheese - the stay was worthwhile for breakfast alone. Our room was what you expect for the price - comfortable, clean and equipped with all that you really need for an overnight stay.

The hotel is in the perfect location for a short stay in St Omer. We were close to the Cathedral and the breathtaking public gardens, which are definitely worth a visit. The hotel is also close to the St Omer Marshes centre. Although we drove there, it is only a 10 minute walk away. A boat tour of the marshes is highly recommended. Our room was an extremely comfortable suite with a separate living room which included a TV with sofa, a small dining table and chairs, a fully stocked (chargeable) fridge/bar, a kettle with tea and coffee and a microwave. We booked lunch in the restaurant and it was excellent. Overall, a very enjoyable and comfortable stay with friendly hosts. Many thanks.

A small hotel that deserves all my sympathy. St Omer is a sympatheticc Flemish/French small city. Hotel is in the city centre near to restaurants and town hall. Communication went smoothly, and the breakfast was very good. Room is simple like you expect from a small French hotel. Most importantly, I saw some elements of the best film since five years, St Omer.

Be aware that you have to climb stairs to get to your room.

This was a last minute booking for us, when we were able to spend an extra night in this town. When we arrived in the middle of the afternoon, the kitchen was about to close, but they willingly agreed to put together a selection plate for us as we were hungry. It was delicious and very reasonably priced; it remains one of our most memorable meals while in France. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We'd happily stay here again.

The room was rather small for two people and the view was nothing to remember.

It’s in a great location, the bedroom was light and airy and a good size. It could do with a unit to put clothes into - ie a chest of drawers but otherwise excellent.

Having to pick up the key from a box outside felt a bit impersonal but everything else was fine. I would have liked to have had more cold meats for breakfast but the homemade bread was excellent.

Nice hotel located in central position in the town, clean and spacious room, big comfortable bed, bath and shower.

Some confusion when we arrived, the staff member wasn't aware that we had booked a room but resolved quickly. No parking at hotel, we had to park a few minutes walk away. When we went to leave in the morning another staff member thought that we hadn't paid so I had to show my receipt from when I paid for the room the previous day, once again resolved quickly
