The staff was very attentive and kind. I arrived 3 hours early for check exhausted from a transatlantic flight. They offered me coffee and tea and made a room available for me well ahead of check in. Breakfast was amazing, with honey collected from their own beehives, tasting of the intoxicating aromas of the morning’s walk. Most foods were either made in house or from local artisans and cultivators. The space was tranquil and the views incredible. It’s a highly recommended stay, especially Fridays and Saturdays when their chefs prepare dinner with hyper local items on the menu.

My wife and I were initially very disappointed with the hotel, but the General Manager Mark solved our problem.

The hotel has been undergoing major refurbishment for many months. The first room we were shown had the character of a building site and was extremely disappointing for a 250 euro a night price. The General Manager Mark allowed us to stay in one of the hotel's best suites which was extremely pleasant. He also gave my wife a complementary dinner at the hotel as compensation for our initial disillusionment. He was very professional and kind in turning the situation around for us.

This Chateau is a wonderful historical place! Beautiful castle with a lake and a park with swans and ducks. History of Chateau is connected with such names as Bugatti and Jean-Jacque Rousseau. All rooms of the hotel are historical and different. The hotel is not totally renovated, so you will experience a real charm and history. But bathrooms and beds are new and are comfortable. Everything is clean. Breakfast with totally homemade farmed products is wonderful! Overall is a good value for money! If you arrive with the car it’s perfect location comparing to overpriced hotels of Paris. No parking problems and convenient location from airport and business Expo areas makes it perfect.

Nothing.

The staff is exceptionally helpful, accommodating, and very personable yet professional. The dining experience overall was outstanding with unique gourmet meals which were exquisite. In addition, the breakfast had a broad selection of delicious high quality protein and carbohydrate items to fit anyone's dietary needs. The hotel grounds are park like and the serenity of the area is wonderful. All of that combined with the history of the chateau made it a lovely relaxing experience.

The surroundings of this old castle is beautiful and romantic. You can also choose to row a boat out and the scenery is astounding. The premises is great for a walk with ducks roaming. There is ample free parking at the entry gate, you can drive by the reception to drop off luggage, and park back at the gate. The gate helps to keep the property private. Elevator available too, so no issues for heavy luggage. Didn't eat at the restaurants within the chateau so I cannot comment. Just outside the gate of the chateau, had really delicious meals. For myself who values ambience and surroundings, the stay was for me a very good experience and a nice romantic closure to my 17-day France trip.

It didn't bother me, but there is no air conditioning (old castle), so some guests complain and needed multiple fans. I suppose it very depends which season you are visiting the area and at what temperature is considered comfortable (eg. for some travelers, t-shirt weather is 12 degrees, for others from south-east asia, comfortable will be 22 degrees or so. In terms of the furniture and room condition, indeed somewhat dated, but it is always be a dilemma how to and how much to renovate while retaining the feel and soul of a real castle. So, I actually empathize reception staff who have to deal with complaints on lack of air conditioning or facilities...

A magical place in the heart of wonderful nature, half an hour away from the Paris airport, a team that went above and beyond to help with everything we asked for, rooms on the first and second floor are large and comfortable (third floor rooms are very small!)

The initial double room offered to us on the third floor was very roomy! There are no air conditioners in the place because the building is intended for preservation and installation of air conditioners is prohibited, it was very hot at night and you cannot open a window because there is no net, the rooms also do not have a proper fan

Having read one gentleman's review of his poor experience, with some intrepidation and a sense of humour, passport and credit card in hand, we approached the Reception in this stunning Château. We received the warmest of welcomes and were shown to a stunning room, with a balcony leading onto an exquisite view of the lake. Nothing was too much trouble and we were provided with information on where to dine that evening, as the restaurant was closed due to it being a Sunday. The staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating. We also experienced no issues with Wifi connections. We took the boats out on the lake to row around the moat, taking in the gorgeous views. We dined in the Creperie next to the Chateau (cannot recommend highly enough). After the best night's sleep in the most comfortable bed and a refreshing shower in a beautiful bathroom, we went downstairs to a sumptuous breakfast with the stunning backdrop of the geese flying over the tranquil lake and surrounding gardens. I did not want to leave this magical place! Cannot recommend highly enough and cannot wait until the next time I can return. Thank you Château d'Ermoneville and all the staff.

The fact we had to leave when our stay was over!

Pleasant, relaxing stay in a historic and grand old chateau. The staff were lovely and went out of their way to make the stay pleasurable, and patiently spoke English. Breakfast was a delight! EV charging station right in front of of the chateau, and it was perfectly safe to leave the car there while it charged. Be sure to try La Creperie just steps from the chateau for easy meals.

The building is incredible, and very cozy the chimeney room. The evening staff was very kind and atentious Views fron the room were amazing. The barthroom brand new, clean and top quality in the taps, sanitaries...

The room was just refurbished...but unfinished, With only one table lamp, no pictures on the walls and even rest of painting in the window glasses.

The chateau was stunning, with a picturesque location right on the lake. The old furniture and old styled interior added to the charm and elegance of the place, and it really felt like I had stepped back in time. However, the only downside was that the internet was only working at the reception area, which was a bit inconvenient. Despite this small issue, I still thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this beautiful chateau and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and unique experience.

The Internet did not work in the room.
