Diane and Vic were the perfect hosts. The property is located in an area that for history buffs was on the Front Line of the action during The Great War. Diane and Vic also organise personal battlefield tours. They are both extremely knowledgeable on this subject. The property itself is absolutely lovely. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom modern and spacious. The breakfast Diane provided was scrumptious. Do stay here. I would highly recommend. You will be well looked after.

Loved everything about the property

An outstanding premises and outstanding hosts. I did not realise on booking that Diane and Vic were professional, qualified battlefield guides for the Somme. While I did not make use of their professional skills and expertise, it was nevertheless extremely helpful and interesting to have such knowledgeable people - I was on a self-guided tour of the battlefield. Very nice establishment, made better by being able to have breakfast with other guests of like interests and invariably Diane herself - it made for a particularly interesting visit. Premises could not be faulted - even had kettle and tea making facilities - unusual in France though Diane & Vic were English, albeit lived in France for 20-odd years.

Nothing.

Breakfast was what i expected from reading previous reviews. Excellent. Fresh produce. Lots of choice. Eggs cooked however you wanted them. Tea (yorkshire tea 👍) especially welcome and fresh coffee. The hosts Diane and Vic were great. One of my adult sons said Diane was “probably the nicest person i have ever met”! She also helped over a particular issue i had. Thankfully i wish to report for the rest of our holiday it was “all quiet on the Western Front”. Location for us was no problem …in the middle of the Somme…. A quiet village halfway between our visit to Normandy from the Netherlands. Perfect for us to briefly explore our relatives who fought here in the first world war.

Nothing really. If you really wanted a comment here it would be the limited space available for three adults ( two Dutch born) in the bed and breakfast. This though is completely outweighed by the quality of the hospitality from the hosts.

The hosts are amazing. They go out of there War to make you feel comfortable and make your trip a positive one. The breakfast was absolutely smashing as well.

It’s in a small village with not many amenities. You have to drive about 15 minutes to get to restaurants.
