Lovely comfy bed, hotel located in centre of beautiful town which we have visited before. Lots of free parking close.

Room was quite small with limited space for case, clothes etc. No soap in shower. Breakfast ok but only after we helped ourselves to crockery and had to wait for a member of staff to appear to get hot water and milk.

Easy access, with free parking just outside, even though there were no staff on site on a Tuesday evening (and no food available there that evening). Very comfortable bed with good en suite facilities. Dog was welcome in the bedroom and in the restaurant at breakfast.

Our room looked out over a large square where there was a lot of parking, so it wasn't quite as quiet as we might have liked - and we had specifically asked for a quiet room. But at least it wasn't market day (Saturday morning I gather). The room was fine for an overnight stay but might have been a little small for a longer visit.

Extremely helpful and kind staff, they stored our tandem bike overnight inside the restaurant, bringing it in the evening and taking out in the morning, which was much appreciated. The room was nice, cosy, tastefully decorated [we befriend a a resident teddy :-) ]The food in the restaurant was great. We had a very enjoyable stay, in fact extended it by a day. The town is lovely and surrounding area too.

Nothing that would spoil our stay! The room was facing the town square and there were events with music going on just outside of the hotel on both days so there was some noise- did not bother us much and they finished late afternoon so very quiet and peaceful at night. :-)

Good facilities and a setting. A bar and restaurant with an outdoor dining area on the square but away from the traffic. They didn’t have my room ready - but that was ok as they quickly transferred me to the room in the loft - which was cosy and had a reasonable view of the square below

The landings, corridors and stairs were a bit dark and musty and needed a new coat of paint. The rooms were clean though and well presented. The French still smoke a lot and I didn’t like the smell of nicotine when eating in the bar restaurant area. Shame - it spoils the experience

We've stayed in this hotel a few times, it is in a good spot for seeing Montreuil which is a convenient stop off for getting back to LeShuttle. Clean, comfortable room with tea and coffee making facilities. Car parking is easy, plenty of spaces in the free public car park around the hotel. We chose not to have breakfast as we needed to get away early, however there is a fabulous Boulangerie right next door so don't forget to call in there to get your croissants and French breads to take back home to Blighty. We stayed at the Hotel on a Tuesday, and we were aware that the Hotel Bar and restaurant is closed on Tuesdays as is just about everything else in Montreuil - so beware. However, we did enjoy a fine meal at the Brasserie le Caveau which was very good value as well.

Perfect location on the village square with plenty of parking right outside. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and nicely decorated, the bed was very comfortable. The “small” breakfast of bread and jam, croissant, coffee and juice was perfect. They also offer a “big” breakfast that adds meats, cheese, eggs etc plus more breads and pastries. We had a lovely stay and slept really well.

Central location close to Calais but also the beach and theme parks. Nice vibe around the town with plenty of restaurants, bijoux shops and coffee shops.

Excessive use of motorbikes in the area can ruin the visuals of the area. They seem to be the preferred method of travel, especially at night which can be hard to ignore when trying to sleep - however you can close your bedroom windows which muffles the sound...but the room does get warm if you do this in the summer!

I strongly object to the subjective "like/didn't like" of the questionaire. People booking on the site are presumably adults and should be able to make their own interpretations. The Temps d'Em suits us very well for the following; warm welcome, comfort, location, food & drink, and they smile at my imperfect French! Other people might have have different expectations.

The room was very comfortable with a clean and compact ensuite bathroom. We had a delicious meal in the restaurant, preceded by a cold beer on the terrace, watching the world go by in the square. Breakfast was excellent - warm croissants, pains au chocolat, coffee/hot chocolate, and juice. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, in spite of - at times - being rushed off their feet.
