Some other guests are very loud late at night and do not respect quiet hours.

Good location, friendly staff and good value for money. Breakfast was basic which was juice, coffee, yogurt, bread and fruits but at least its provided.

We booked as a family of 6 for one night - to visit Lille and watch the Olympic basketball games. The property was easy to book, easy to find/access. The facilities were as it says on the box😊 The place is friendly and chilled. Metro and local super market within walking distance. Good Wi-Fi Loved Dorah - the lady made the stay and experience extra special. She stood out and was most helpful. Thank you.

It was a hot day and night- rooms were a bit stuffy even with the windows wide open. The breakfast was disappointing- options were limited and presentation could have been better.

Hi! I enjoyed my overall experience in the Auberge de jeunesse because it was super clean & new beds, cosy matelas, abordable price and included breakfast that was simple but fresh & filling (cereals, milk, jus, coffee, little ham&cheese, butter, bread). I would recommend this hotel for travellers who have a night in the city, as a group of friends you can rent a room with 4 beds or go for the women/men separate option.

The only minus, it was slightly noisy between 21-23:40 because some young adults made a karaoke nearby in the neighbour room, so the sound isolation was not able to block this noise. The second inconvenience is the early check out time (10 a.m.), so you can't stay longer to relax in the bed.

We recently stayed there as part of a trip that brought us from Strasbourg to Paris, Lille and Brussels and of all those four places, this was both the least expensive accommodation we had as well as our most fun and memorable stay. I can't thank the staff enough. Everyone was super friendly, helpful and welcoming. The area around the bar (providing some of the cheapest drinks you can find in France) was always a good hang out to meet other fellow travellers and regular evening events helped generate a true buzz around the place.

Not too central but the metro station is just down the road and the main train station/centre of Lille is just two stops away.

We had a great time in the hostel. The room and service exactly met our expectations, but we were surprised by the price even including the breakfast. The GF of the hostel is also a community center, there are activities every night, and people sing and dance together, we appreciate the active and international atmosphere over there. It's a great idea to encourage carbon-efficient trips in this way. I would love to visit it again.

The toilet is outside the room, but the shared toilets were very clean.

The location was just a quick walk from the metro, and only 3 stops from the main train station. The bed was clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were clean. The shower had hot water. The staff was very nice. The bar had good beer and inexpensive sandwichs. The breakfast was good enough. The wifi was good. The other guests were respectful.

There could have been some croissants and pains au chocolats for breakfast. I would have appreciated a normal shower faucet that could be turned and left on, instead of having to constantly push a button.

The breakfast was basic, but exceptional value for money. we were a family of four and although we didnt realise when we booked it was a youth hostel, we were pleasantly suprised. The staff were 10/10 and very accommodating. It isnt the Ritz, but for the price we paid, it was amazing...

only thing was no toilet in the room, but the communal wc was very clean and well maintained

Got my own shower and sink in the room. The common area for breakfast, lounge is super spacious and auto buy drink machine 😍 I checked in late at 3AM cuz I booked the wrong ticket but the receptionist guy reassure me before I come that its alright (both via phone and text). Communication and support is amazing. When I arrive there he did prepare everything with my name and key on the table - got check in super fast. Really reasonable price. Thank you very much for treating me, a solo traveller, really well 🫶🏻

Just perfect

Very friendly and helpfull staff. There is a storage for luggage, it's nice, especially when you arrived before registration time. I really liked that there are some activities, like kizomba, salsa, bachata... I didn't partecipated this time, but I hope to do it next time.

There aren't plugs near each bed (there are enough plugs for each, but in my situation: two plugs were hiden by siutcases of other guests... and I noticed it only on the second day...) Shower didn't work properly in our room
