In excellent location for sanctuary. Within minutes walk. Very clean. Fresh crisp bedding. Good size shower room. Our host Elizabeth is so lovely very helpful and friendly. There’s a small chapel within the guesthouse. Guests can make use of it throughout there stay for quite reflection.Elizabeth also has weekly mass in her chapel where she invites guests to join if they wish so it has a lovely homely feeling to it. Elizabeth is the perfect host with the perfect guesthouse. Thank you Elizabeth for making our stay in lourdes so special. I’d highly recommend this guesthouse

There’s absolutely nothing I could say I didn’t like.

Location, it was a room with a two burner electric stove a small refrigerator, I had the option to purchase a pod for coffee and croissant for 5 euro a day , luckily there was a grocery store five minutes away and I went ahead and bought eggs baguette chicken slices some butter yogurt etc- spent 15.00 and was able to have a full breakfast- three days… didn’t realize there weren’t any spices- called Elizabeth and she lent me salt and pepper … upon leaving I called her and gave her any left over food I had purchased ..FYI, bring your toiletries… she provides a blow dryer - which was great , also- I saw someone complain about entering through the back- NO it is not entering through the back - literally you walk to the end of the corner it is around the block… I thought after reading the comment oh you go through a door or alley- No… it’s around the block.. And Elizabeth was there … to show me how to get to room..

Everything was fine- a humble place… if you are looking for a a four five star accommodation- book somewhere else. Very humble , specially if you want quiet - no tv - no radio- very quiet - it was good for me- Was able to walk everywhere at night without feeling any type of danger.. didn’t hear a siren once, Like in Paris- every few minutes.. 🫨

It was a beautiful stay about 5 minutes away from the Basilica and Grotto. Very peaceful and tranquil! The breakfast was the perfect French breakfast with two crossaints and a baguette from a local bakery for me and my mom! Coffee was delicious and the jam went perfect with the pastries! Elizabeth was amazing and wonderful host. There is also a small and cozy chapel available. Felt very safe to walk and night and close to many great restaurants.

Nothing, it was an amazing and beautiful experience and offered everything I needed for the trip and more.

Exceptional reception from Elisabeth who welcomed us to her lovely place. Excellent location and so close to the Grotto. The studios were clean, spacious and perfect with many amenities/kitchen appliances. Surrounded by many amazing restaurants and stores. Elisabeth is the perfect host and was available for any suggestions and questions. Will definitely be a returning guest.

the host Elizabeth is very welcoming and helps to make our trip a special one.lovely chapel in guesthouse for quite prayer Elizabeth also has daily evening rosary or mass .it’s only minutes away from the grotto.we’ve been staying with Elizabeth’s guesthouse for several years now .the studios are perfect as you can do own cooking and chill out .I’d certainly recommend you give Elizabeth’s guesthouse a try I am sure youl love it

there isn’t anything not to like

It is steps away from the sanctuary entrance. Elizabeth (host) is gracious and accommodating. She wants your pilgrimage to be the best it can be. The room was light and airy, cool at night. The curtains kept the night lights out. We slept with the windows open, nice and cool. There are great restaurants all around. We had 3 perfect days that we’ll never forget. J

The shower was a bit small.

Being a first time international and solo traveller, was it reassuring to know that I was and felt safe. I was able to walk about and explore Lourdes at my leisure. Fresh croissants, french loaf, jams and coffee were available every day. Something I really looked forward to. I enjoyed the option of joining in on mass and meeting other members of the community. I walked everywhere from the bistro around the corner to having my nails done within a 20 minute walk away. Elisabeth was warm, welcoming and ever so generous with her time in ensuring that my stay was a memorable one. indeed it was and felt a little tug at my heart when I left. Thank you for arranging the taxi service as well. So, if you’re looking for that special little bit of haven, this is it. Thank you Elisabeth.

Elisabeth is such a super host. We cant thank her enough for her hospitality. She helped us for our pilgrimage schedule. Her recommendation made our pilgrimage even more special. She also can help you to book the taxi to go to airport, etc. The room is small but clean and comfortable. It is located just 10 minutes walk from the Church and directly located at the shopping area where you can find food. Even St. Bernadette's house, now a museum, is located across the street. There is an electric kettle in the room, so you can make yourself a nice warm beverage at night. The breakfast is fulfilling. A nice cup of. Warm coffee/tea and some French bread. Overall it was a really wonderful 2 nights stay.

The location is close to the Sanctuary of Lourdes, and the studio is well-equipped, including the kitchen. Elizabeth, the landlady, is friendly and helpful. The small oratory in the building is also an excellent place to pray during the stay. The property is also pretty quiet during the night. So overall, it is a fantastic experience to stay in Au Berceau de Bernadette.

I know we have to clean the kitchen area, but I am a little surprised that we also have to clean the bathroom. I don't mind doing that, but maybe it should be more specific on the website or before our arrival about which part of the studio that we must clean.

Our host was the best! She was very thoughtful of everything you might need. The location was as great! You can go back and forth to the Lady of Lourdes without much effort.

Just like most places in Europe - the narrow stairs. But the spacious and clean accommodation more than makes up for it.
