The hotel was very nice. It was a stopover for us on our journey. The evening Porter was very accommodating, serving us a drink when we arrived late and tired. A lovely man and great customer service. The breakfast was sufficient, but seems like it was very busy as ran out of nearly everything. The staff were very good and were able to get us anything we needed. All in all, a great stay and would recommend.

The hotel was in a beautiful position with excellent views. The staff were always pleasant and helpful. There was a water problem with the first room we we given, but the room was changed immediately when I mentioned the problem. The reduced Monday dinner was excellent, being a hot buffet style. The breakfast was much better than expected in a French hotel.

Unfortunately the bath was difficult to get into and especially to exit. There were no grab handles and there was a danger of slipping.

Well located about 30 minutes from the channel tunnel. We had driven 11 hours from the Var and needed somewhere comfortable and quiet for a night’s kip. This place was excellent. Easy to find, lovely staff, clean and well-equipped room with a bath. We ate at McDonalds down the road as the dining room was full, but we didn’t fancy a ‘full’ dinner anyway: the breakfast was really good at 07:00 before an easy drive to the tunnel.

We had a fabulous meal in the restaurant. Staff were lovely. Room was an excellent size, and separate toilet and shower great for a change. Very reasonable price in the restaurant and for the room, which was beautifully decorated. Great decor. Would go again.

Would have been great to have had an English speaking news channel, there's a lot going on in the UK recently. Our French is a little rusty.

Staff seemed a bit rushed at dinner, I guess because of a separate group event that evening. But they coped well. A pet hate is hotels that tuck a duvet/quilt in at the bottom of the bed, just to look pretty. It doesn't come high enough to sleep under, and it makes a mess when it is pulled out. I had to remake the bed to tuck the under sheet in! Duvets are designed to sit loosely.

The rooms were very comfortable, the breakfast was great. Sadly the evening meal we had at the restaurant wasn't up to the level I would expect from this sort of hotel. My main course was tasteless and the dessert had unripe melon which tasted as though it had been in the fridge too long. A disappointing end to our stay in France as a lot of our meals have been at a high standard.

Excellent location, lovely spacious rooms and bathroom. Tea making in the room which we enjoy. Dog friendly. Staff were very friendly.

We stayed on a Sunday and there was no food or beverage offer. Being snowy and icy and having driven 8 hours we didn’t want to be driving out into St Omer to find alternative. Just think this should be clearer before committing to book.

The hotel is set in countryside. It is situated 30 minutes south of Calais, so very convenient. The rooms are comfortable, clean and relaxing. The air conditions was good.

Just a small niggle - all information in the room is in French as was all the TV channels! I stayed in this hotel twice. On both occasions, I had to request a change to the bill which was incorrect, so please check it yourself.

The worst breakfast ever there for low score for value for money. Not much choice of food but what killed the breakfast totally was ice cold scrambled eggs , it's was literally taken out of the fridge and put on the counter to warm up , even pastry was under baked , terrible breakfast ever , not worth 16 euros at all and no fresh vegetables at all!to much pancakes and no chose of fresh vegetables at all just some fruits salad and still not the best looking. Comparing to dinner which was fantastic the breakfast was total fail and disappointment.

The location, only 30 minute drive from Calais, in beautiful countryside away from commercial activity. The hotel was separate from the golf club but overlooked the green with lovely vistas. Reception was good and the accommodation was clean and restful.

We required two rooms and I requested them to be near each other. The interpretation of this was to put us on different floors above eachother!
