Excellent location, right in the center next to the port. The staff are excellent, all of them were very nice. The room was very well equipped and the heat worked well. Everything was very clean also. The breakfast is excellent, you get a lot of options and the food is very good. Coffee is the only thing not great.

The room was quite small and there is no view. Not a big issue because the price and everything else is great. The door to the bathroom had some issues and did not close easily. No slippers included. The wifi was bad to nonexistent in the morning especially.

They did NOT have a car park as advertised on booking.com. That was pretty annoying!

Absolutely brilliant location, 1 min to the Metro. We took a taxi from the station as I didn’t know the way around when we arrived. Room is what you expect of France not so big (triple room we had) but was sufficient. We were only there for 2 days and during the day we were away so not much to complain at all. Literally a minute walk to the old port which has loads of bars and restaurants and probably open till the early hours. Special thanks to Irina (at the reception) who checked us in and the guy who bought me the metro tickets early morning to avoid me spending more than I should when we travel. At the time of the booking felt that it was a bit pricey, but now having traveled there, the price is justifiable given the location and the brilliance of the place

Room was quite new, very few signs of wear and tear and clean. I am picky with shower cleanliness and this was the best I had seen for some time. They are clearly going through a stage of gradual renovation but they did a great job of ensuring this made no impact on guests. I.e. the only reason I know they are doing it was the odd give aways such as a half painted wall. Breakfast was lovely, a bit of everything. Stuff were responsive although I did not give them any challenges.

The center of Marseille is nice by day but I wasn't always comfortable walking it at night. The hotel was a bit expensive for what it offered however, I went in the middle of the Olympics so that was the case everywhere

Location is perfect. A few steps only to the old port, the excursion boats and to buses, a few steps more to the old Marseille (Parier) and to the "real", like Rue Aubagne etc... The staff is great. The breakfast is various and tasty and made with accuracy and love.

The rooms are too small. Ours was actually once a single room, I guess - and converted. Should you have big suitcases (we didn't), then moving in the room may become quite challenging, especially as a couple ;=)

The location couldn't be better. Round the corner to the port where there's an excellent bistro OM which does breakfast and lunch and dinner. Beds large and comfortable. Shower room well designed. Hot water. Aircon reversible to heat. Staff were as friendly and helpful as last time except the young guy at the desk at 9 PM said to drink from the tap when we asked for more water in our room. Very unlike our experience in September. Apart from him, all the others were excellent.

Can't find fault in what is a nicely managed hotel in such a perfect location for the port. Room size par for the course in this area.

This hotel was in a great location. We got a free upgrade to a bigger room, which was much appreciated, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our room stayed cool even in the scorching temperatures of a heat wave (thank god!).

I think only in terms of cleanliness could it have been a bit better—the sheets had a stain and the little patio was a touch grimy. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back if visiting the old port again.

Perfect location, right in the midst of Vieux Port, metro stop and bus stop a few steps from the hotel, restaurants and bars around, prime location for tourist attractions spots (Le Panier, the MUCEM, the fort, palais of Pharoh, boat cruises etc) all accessible by foot. Also, room service every day, this I did not expect based on the current trends in most hotels.

Room a bit on the small side for the amount - just enough room to manoeuvre around the bed, desk very tiny and impractical -, but for where the hotel is located, high prices not a shock, this is to be expected. The shower head flow was restricted, half the orifices were blocked (don't know if this was by design - water saving measure - or a faulty shower head).

Unrivalled location in the heart of Marseille, a stone’s throw from the port and downtown shops, bars and eateries. Plenty of options for a cafe breakfast or a boulangerie on the square just outside. Staff were really friendly and helpful, easy check in, triple room had plenty of space, while double rooms were tight but still enough to open a suitcase each side of the bed.

In one of our rooms the air conditioning left a little to be desired. Hard to manage in the 30 degrees heat in September. A bit hit and miss because in the other two the air con was fantastic!

The room was very nice. It had everything we needed and we were only there at night so it was perfect. Location was perfect. Just on the edge of the port and seemed safe. We really enjoyed it here and would recommend it to other travellers. Breakfast was also great. I eat a lot and it definitely catered for that.

Don’t have anything bad to say. A recommendation might be to provide directions from certain hubs like the airport or train station. We walked from the train station which took some time and we could’ve got on the underground for two stops and been there in 5 minutes.
