The staff were excellent, helpful, friendly and knowledgable. The breakfast was fantastic. The room was generously proportioned and well equipped with a full service kitchen which made snacks and libations a relaxing feature of the stay. The location was close to the main railway station and the tram service that provides full access to downtown Nice.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was superb. Close to the train station and main shopping centre. Next to a huge art shop. About 15-20 minute walk to the old town. I liked having a door code for the room as didn’t need to remember to bring a key.

It took me a while to realise the best way to contact reception was by text. We were missing a corkscrew from our room and also someone’s clean laundry was left in our room. Genuine mistake and dealt with swiftly. I just wasn’t always sure how to contact reception if no one at the desk. But all the staff were really lovely.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and felt very comfortable after walking around all down and travelling. If you can get a view of the Main Street, the building opposite had beautiful architecture. The staff sent me WhatsApp messages to keep in touch and were so lovely! You don’t need a key to enter the building/your room, so that was really easy. Easy walk to train station for lots of day trips.

As 2 single females, it felt a bit unsafe to walk back from the promenade to the hotel in some of the streets. But I’m sure if you catch a tram or bus, that would be fine.

We had the most pleasant stay at Residence Lamartine. The personnel was professional and extraordinary friendly and cheerful. They even suprised my husband at the breakfast with a birthday waffle ❤️ The room was spotlessy clean, bed comfy, AC worked well - and the breakfast was delicious!

Location and hospitality. The location was perfect just 5 minutes walk from the jean medicine avenue and 10-15 minutes walk from the old town and main touristic attractions, so actually you don't need any transportation to explore the city. The host Ms.Corrina was extremely kind and nice and we really felt like we were at home, we especially enjoyed our breakfast and the best orange juice:)!

The apartment was lovely and well equipped but still needed a bit of renovation, for example one lamp next to the bed was not working, the lights on the bathroom mirror etc.but overall these were the minor things compared to the hospitality and care of the hosts.

We loved our stay at Maison Lamartine. It was super easy to check in and check out, the room was very clean, quiet, and had everything we needed, especially air-conditioning which was a joy to return to after a day out in the heat. The bed was comfortable and the kitchenette was well-stocked with everything you need if you wanted to cook but we opted to eat out during our entire stay. The guest lounge and garden was also beautiful with lots of games, a large tv, a foosball table and a pool table. The location was in a central spot, less than 10 min walk to the train station and 15 min walk to Old Town. Breakfast had great choices and we loved the option of being able to take it in our room as well as enjoy it in the garden. All the staff were super friendly and welcoming, but especially Mateo who went out of his way to find us a restaurant recommendation when we told him we had a very specific craving. :-)

We would have loved more non-dairy options to have with our morning coffee but there's a grocery store just across the street so we could get our own. The only toiletries provided are hand soap and body wash so just be sure to bring your own shampoo, conditioner and lotion.

We so enjoyed our time at Maison Lamartine!! Location: while the accommodation was a fair bit further from the beach than I thought (that’s on me just not looking at the maps properly) and we ended up walking 15ish minutes to get to a lot of the restaurants we ate at, the location to the train station was PERFECT and so handy as we did a lot of trains travelling to other towns etc. The breakfast was delicious, with a good range of foods that kept us fuelled for the day! The room was really nice, everything was clean and the aircon was fantastic!! The staff were so lovely and easily accessible for any questions or help!

Nothing! The stay was perfect

Property is very well located so almost everything is walkable. I think it is because of people that city is named as "Nice" , whole staff are really nice bunch of people, always ready to help and greet with smile. They went above and beyond to provide comfort for our 11 months old baby. You can ask for clean water and cleaning and they are happy to help.

The apartment is getting a bit old, damps in bathroom roof which smells , bathtub stopper doesn't work , AC wasn't working on last 2 days. It needs some renovations .

The room was bright and big, with a little kitchenette. Coffee and tea were really good that were supplied. The air conditioning worked well and the shutters made it very dark in the room to sleep in. Bed was comfy.

The shower/bath had a screen that didn’t seal to the top of the bathtub so water would get all over the floor. The bathroom door was warped and hard to open/close and there was beginning to be mould build up in the bathroom, with no fan and the window would open but face the other units while you’re in the shower.

I recently stayed at Maison Lamartine in Nice, France, and it was truly an exceptional experience. The room was immaculate, spacious, and beautifully decorated, providing a luxurious and comfortable environment. The location was absolutely amazing, offering easy access to the beach, local attractions, and a variety of fantastic restaurants. A special thanks to the staff, especially Julien, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. His warm hospitality and attention to detail made us feel incredibly welcome and well taken care of. In summary, Maison Lamartine exceeded all my expectations. If you're planning a trip to Nice, I highly recommend staying here for an unforgettable experience!
