Hotel was clean and comfy, better than other hotels I've stayed in Paris, room size was expected as much of Paris rooms are the same, small. The staff require you to leave the room key behind when you are out and about, which was fine, one less thing to worry about.
There was nothing on offer in regards to asking us if we might need some info on the area or how to get around etc, but were keen to ask us for a 5 star review when we checked out. Luckily I have been to Paris on a few occasions before and wanted to try out the area, we were there for a specific event at L'Olympia, but I would have still appreciated the info. Breakfast room adequate for what we needed, but then having explored the area there were some wonderful cafes around where we could have eaten for probably near the same price.

Lovely wee hotel. We had a room on the top floor with a balcony to sit on. This was a bonus in the nice weather, but it meant the room was very small, being on the top floor (not unusual in Paris) The lift was a bonus for getting to and from our room. Surrounded by great cafes and restaurants and across from Gare Saint Lazare, handy for metro or trains. The staff were very friendly, and we felt like part of the family by the time we left after staying for 5 nights. This hotel is kept immaculate by the housekeeping staff, towels changed, and room serviced daily. I would stay here again.

Nice hotel for a good price. Good location, 5 minutes walk from metro and railway station. Direct line to airport CharlDeGol airport. Close to city center. The room is small but nice and tide. Cleaning is every day. Beds are new and very good 80x190 cm in twin room. Bathroom is new and clean. Reception desk works 24 hour, personnel is very ok. They have baggage room, and we kept baggage there on the last day. We recommend hotel ! The only minus is noise, its not possible to sleep with open window, ( the street is not a quite one, very small street but dynamic traffic and close to main junction )

I was in Paris for work and finding a good budget hotel in this area is close to impossible. The Charing Cross Hotel ticked all the boxes. It is two steps away from Saint Lazare metro and train station and ten minutes away from Opera and Galeries Lafayette. The room was clean and there was all I needed. As a single accommodation it was spacious, especially for Paris standards. There are plenty of restaurants in the immediate proximity and the staff was very lovely. The breakfast was good.
Nothing. If there is one thing probably the WiFi could be more resilient but this is the case in many hotels and I think that for the price you pay, considering this is the most expensive arrondissement in Paris, these guys do a wonderful job. I will come back when there on business.

Room was modern and clean. Location is very good, close to some big attractions and near big subway station which makes it easy to get to different spots in the city
On a last morning the cleaning ladies came knocking on our door multiple times (waking us up), wanting to start clean our room although it was only around 8am so we were not even close to check-out time. It was super weird as everyone had to leave their key to reception before they go out, so they could easily check if the room is free or not. Otherwise everything else was super good.

We just returned from a 3 night stay and this hotel is a little gem. Great location and close to all transport. The Louvre and galleries laffaell is a stone throw away. The staff are so helpful and welcoming l would definitely recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to break the budget. For all the nit pickers below with negative comments .. the Hilton is up the road if you need a larger room and better facilities but for us it was perfect as we had no intentions to stay in all day and count the square meter of our room. We will return!

It was very centrally located Just what I needed for a few days by myself in Paris
Everything was great ! Be weary with too much heavy luggage ! I was traveling with a few very heavy bags and the elevator only goes to the 5th floor and I was on the 6th. I didn’t mind, they would’ve changed my room but were all booked and I’d been dragging all my stuff around the city anyway so one more floor was nothing. But if you’re not as self sufficient or into heavy lifting make sure to mention you’ll need elevator access so they book you on an appropriate floor.

It is considered a big room for Paris, good staff, room is cleaned every day and towels are changed, the metro is close and you can get direct line to the sights, there is also a cafe and a small market nearby
It's sad that you don't even get a bottle of water in the room, you can get it from the bar and it's paid. You have to get there on time for breakfast, because the food will run out towards the end. There is no soap near the towel in the bathroom and it is very inconvenient. These are small comments from me that I would correct

All was more than correct, stuff are very friendly and super-kind and helpful and the location is great, if you are ready to meet the amenities by walking. I liked almost all, but one thing. And that is why I scored 9 instead of 10... No car park. You have to park in public garage and that means minimum 45 EUR per day on the top of all your costs. However, overall impression is very good and my warm recommendations for this place.
No car park

I like about the hotel the location, 24/7 manager and the bed because it was very comfortable. It has breakfast from very early in the morning
The elevator was kind of old. The breakfast has not a buffet it was just simple stuff from the supermarket. The bathroom shower was not adequate to people that are not athlete it is difficult to access and not fall off the shower.
