We had a very lovely and comfortable stay. The hotel is wonderfully located, with a huge number of restaurants and cafes within a ten-minute walk. Notre-Dame, the Marais, Louvre, and other museums we were interested in were all within walkable distance and there's a direct RER line to Gare du Nord for the Eurostar, so an early train was no trouble at all. The staff was very friendly and helpful, contacting me through whatsapp after booking so I had an easy mode of communication. Though the room was small, it didn't feel tight and we had everything we needed. We didn't try the breakfast as there are so many cafés around, and we had a kettle with coffee and tea in the room so we were very cosy.

I have no complaints! One small detail was that the pictures we saw of the room made it look like we had a view on the street, but in the end the room looked onto the inner courtyard. This was not a problem however and may have been a benefit as it was really quiet at night. I don't know if it's possible to get food in the hotel, this didn't even occur to us, but again there are SO MANY restaurants nearby and they all open late so we wouldn't have wanted to eat in anyway.

We stayed in a small room located at the top of the build (6th floor). However, the room setting makes it not feel tight. Since we only spend night time there, we felt quite comfortable of the room. We were satisfied with the "half service" breakfast. It is not a fancy full buffet breakfast but much better than a continental breakfast.

We noticed there was a heavy scale in the boiler kettle and decided to clean it ourselves. We then realized that the water in Paris is so hard that it leaves a heavy scale in the hot water kettle after just one use, which makes the coffee and tea tasteless. It would be helpful if the hotel could clean the kettle regularly.

First - the staff were excellent. From the moment we arrived Yana, Eric, Neils, Sebastian, Marianne and Alex did EVERYTHING they could to make us comfortable. From getting us some ice every night, to mailing letters, getting us a second top sheet, to arranging cabs, to giving us advice ... well, everything but most of all smiling and being so kind to us. The room was exactly what we wanted - European and perfect. And it was kept spotlessly clean. The breakfast and the ladies that served us every morning were a joy. Being just blocks from Notre Dame and the Pantheon in the heart of Paris's Left Bank Sorbonne neighborhood provided us walking access to everything including the Metro. There is nothing about what we would change about our selection for a wonderful place to stay in Paris. We hope we can visit this magnificent city and stay at the Hotel du College de France again!

Absolutely nothing. This hotel is a gem.

The hotel is in a wonderful side street in the Latin Quarters near the Sorbonne University. It is a small boutique hotel, charmingly appointed. The front desk staff was excellent in all respects. The breakfast was sufficient and plentiful for a French breakfast. There are many great little restaurants and cafes in this area; great location near 2 Metro stations (Maubert-Mutualite, Cluny) and 1 RER station (Saint Michel/Notre Dame). Check out the charming little French restaurant "Le Symposium" near Saint Michele subway/RER stop. The owner is so kind and the food is great!

The room was very small.

The hotel is small and very cozy. The breakfast was fresh and tasteful. The location is perfect, near a lot of restaurants, the metro, and all the best of what Quartier Latin has to offer, but at the same time quiet and reserved. The staff is the heart of this hotel: everyone was so thoughtful. Special thanks to Eric, Alex and Mariana for everything in our stay. We loved spending our honeymoon there and definitely want to came back.

Sure! Here’s a positive review for Hôtel du Collège de France: I had a wonderful stay at Hôtel du Collège de France! The location is perfect—right in the heart of Paris, within walking distance of major attractions like Notre-Dame and the Pantheon. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with any request. My room was clean, cozy, and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The hotel has a charming Parisian atmosphere, making it a great choice for anyone looking to experience the city’s unique charm. I highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again!

Everything is awesome.

The hotel provides excellent on line service via whatsapp. The lobby was very welcoming and pleasant. The welcome by the staff including welcome hot drinks and other treats was great. Yana from the reception was remarkable,. Breakfast was good All amenities in the bedroom, mini bar, as well as coffee making was great. Bathroom good.. Bed was comfortable.

The only thing I would change is when they publish the room they don't mention when it's a ground floor room looking out to a Paris street So we had to choose between an inner shaft room or a ground floor room, neither choice is great. In the future I would rather know in advance if that is the only option left.

Excellent location on a quiet side street, so silent at night. Easy to reach Metro and RER stations. Many restaurants/brasseries within a few minutes walk. The staff were exceptionally friendly and always checking that all was well with my room. There was some rebuilding work in progress on an upper floor, but it did not impact on my stay and any slight noise was in daylight hours. Also the kitchen was having reconstruction, so no breakfast service temporarily available. The manager apologized to me personally when I bumped into him on the doorstep. Like all these things, it was taking longer than expected. I will be happy to return.

The hotel is in a great spot—it has a lovely, safe vibe and reminds me of medieval Paris. It’s super convenient too, with lots of landmarks within walking distance. There’s a metro and train station just around the corner, which makes it easy to get around the city or even to the airport. The hotel itself is clean and nice, but the real highlight is the staff. They’re so friendly and professional, always doing their best to help with anything you need.

Despite the hotel being well-maintained, it’s quite old. Some rooms look completely new, while others appear a bit dated, and there’s no way to know this in advance.
