Close to Nation station (passenger lift is at the end of the road) it provides an ideal base for exploring.

We had a 2nd floor room and no lift. Wish we had been travelling a little lighter!

The staff was wonderful very nice and helpful. Location of the hotel is very good. Also there is a cozy green garden very cute. We had our window looking in it. Enjoyed our stay there very much.

The water in the toilet sometimes keep on running after flash. It need to be repaired.

It was a bit too airless/hot in the room overnight

Breakfast was good and enough we were happy about it. We know that all the hotels have small rooms in Paris, so no problem for us. Room was well decorated and clean. Staff was extremely kind. There was a very delicious bakery across the hotel and Nation trains station (which u can go everywhere) was extremely close.

There was a smell around the stairs and corridors which i was not happy with it. and our room was next to the office or housekeepers room. So everymorning we woke up because of the door closing noise like at least 20 times. It was not good.

This two-star hotel provides good value for money, with very friendly and helpful bilingual staff, a lovely courtyard (where you could enjoy a good buffet breakfast) and in a location handy to Place de la Nation, Picpus, La Sorbonne Nouvelle, and more. The neighbourhood is lively with lots of restaurants and an outstanding bakery nearby.

Our room was on the small side, but the bed was comfortable and it was cleaned everyday. The hotel is not very accessible (an old building with no elevator that I could see), so anyone with mobility limitations might find it challenging. WiFi didn't work for me the first two days, but eventually I asked the staff and they sorted it out promptly.

An old hotel, recently tastefully renovated and modernised (see photos). Very pleasant room, not too small for Paris standards. Recently refitted bathroom. Everything works well. Windows can be left open, as the hotel is just off Place de la Nation and relatively quiet. As noted by other guests, there is no elevator, only a winding staircase: not a problem for us, maybe for some. Staff all very pleasant, welcoming and helpful. The area is lively, with many shops, bars, restaurants all round. It is served by 3 metro lines, the suburban train RER, and many bus lines all within 2-3 minutes' walk. The tram line is only a little further away. A big market is held on the adjoining Cours de Vincennes on Sundays . 10 minutes away on foot, the Bois de Vincennes, a large wooded park, offers walking, cycling, riding facilities.

The fitted carpet is obviously vacuumed often and thoroughly. Nevertheless it is the least hygienic floor covering . The soft synthetic foam pillows : it would be nice to have the option of feather pillows. Wifi is weak and unstable.

The staff were extremely polite, friendly and helpful and the hotel was very clean.Nice breakfast which you can have inside or outside in the lovely garden.The hotel has a great location close to the underground, bars, restaurants, shops and a supermarket.

No lift and no fridge in the room.

This hotel felt more like a very welcoming guest house. The rooms were welcoming and felt more like a real bedroom than a generic hotel room. Each featured a private bathroom. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The size was exactly what one would expect in a European hotel. The hotel is conveniently located nearby a very well-connected Metro station with quick and easy access to central Paris and the RER for points beyond. Breakfast in the garden was peaceful and delicious. Friendly multi-lingual staff really made us feel welcome.

Stairs could be an issue for those with mobility issues.

Staff very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, not too far from centre, but quiet at night. Room very clean, and perfect for a short stay

No air con. Hair dryer has to be requested from reception and there was no safe. Also room key has to be left with reception every time you go out of hotel

Our stay at the Hotel was amazing, the outside of the hotel is easy to spot and the hotel and their garden looks just like the pictures. Our room had a lovely double bed with a small desk, a small open wardrobe to hang coats or clothes, and a lovely little bathroom- perfect for two people. Our windows opened onto the street but that did not cause any issues as it was off the main road and the balconette was very cute too. Sheets were always cleaned and towels changed daily and provided us with a luggage room for our last day. The staff were extremely helpful- no complaints at all. Check-in and out was easy! Will definetly consider the hotel again if we ever return to Paris in the future- thank you!
