I have to say that the customer service provided by the hotel staff was excellent. We felt very welcomed! This was a first trip for my parents to Europe and I chose this hotel because of its convenience. I’ve read the reviews on the site of a particular friendly lady staff and I too got that service. Caroline was that lady form those an agreeably she was exceptional! Super friendly and kind and above all, provides an excellent service with a smile! Hotel staff work long hours and not once did she show any of that. Please give this kind person a bonus! Hopefully she gets to read the reviews as good service should be recognised. She went above and beyond. It really adds to an travellers experience.The other staff we encountered were equally friendly. A* for customer service. The hotel itself was a short 8 min walk from Gare du Nord. It’s better to walk than to take a taxi in my opinion. It’s a short walk from Poissonnière metro station. Also a 15 min walk from Montemarte Cathedral. A good location for local spots The hotel is located amongst other pre franchise hotels in a quiet road. The rooms itself was good but nothing of wow standard. I’ve stayed in a few Paris hotel previously and for a Paris hotel room, this one was slightly bigger than the norm and definitely bigger than ones I’ve stayed in previously. It’s not huge nor is it tiny. It was ok for us as we was in and out of the hotel a lot of the time. Similar to other reviews, the sound proofing of the rooms is rather bad and something for the hotel to consider adding. The decor of the room is of quaint taste but would need future updating.

The front of house staff were really polite and helpful. The room was spacious and very clean. Great location, close to Poissonière station and a stone’s throw from the Gare du Nord.

Like a lot of old properties in Paris, the walls are very thin (which the hotel probably can’t do very much about). Be prepared to hear everything from the rooms beside and above/below you. If you’re travelling in a large group or with a lot of luggage, be aware that the lift is very small (it fits 1 person with barely any luggage). Although this is common to many Paris hotels 😉 I would suggest that the hotel replaces the shower screens - it only covers half of the opening to the shower, so the floor gets flooded with water unless you use all your towels to soak it up.

Excellent location close to metro 7. Lovely decor, spacious, light filled room. Great neighbourhood, with lovely atmosphere, close to many good cafes. Excellent breakfast in house!

The only thing that was a slight problem was the lift. It is very small, but we could both fit in, however it some times did not want to carry us up to 5th floor together, so we had to ascend separately, it was always OK on the way down. Only a very slight inconvenience. Their was a bit of sound from adjacent room, but not really a problem,

Very clean and confortable, close to some metro stations with direct access to city center. Room recently re-painted (it smelled of fresh paint) and everything inside was new and clean. Nice and safe neighbourhood, with many cafés and restaurants. Friendly helpful staff.

The lack of a minibar in the room. Breakfast was good but with no great diversity (no eggs, no vegetables, just only 1 type of pastry/croissant). Didn't like the fact that we were not offered a basic breakfast to go on the last day (early check-out) although it was paid for. It was a little bit noisy in some nights but this is the clients' fault.

Beautiful building. The lady who welcomed us was so nice and understanding. They also made sure that we had a balcony since we asked. It is also near Gard Du Nord.

We didn’t have electricity for 2 hours on the third day. It was really hot in our room and we couldn’t charge our phones. I’d prefer if they did this late at night or early in the morning, instead of the middle of a hot day.

Stayed for 1 night for a short break for our 19th weddinv anniversary. Was in a quiet location. Few mins walk from nearest metro and 10 mins from Gard du Nord train station. Short walk to Montmartre and the Sacre Coeur. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely buffet breakfast and worth paying the extra as cafes can be very expensive in Paris. Left luggage room. Room was a fairly decent size with some storage. Kettle with coffee and tea. Bathroom had everything we needed and a great hairdryer.

All was great. Just people above us were quite noisy, which was a bit annoying when trying to sleep. Husband said he would have liked some eggs with his breakfast.

We had a pretty spacious room, which is shocking for Paris. The room has a window that can be opened and you will have a super cute view. The hotel is located in the nice Parisian street next to the metro and Gare du Nord, close to Montmartre. Staff was super friendly and spoke good English.

Starting with pluses! 1. Location was covininent who uses Gare Du Nord, walking distance! The street was quiet with no noisy cafes around. Close to metro station. 2. Friendly and welcoming staff at the Reception. 3. Room facilities were appropriate!

Ventilation! It looks that there is no ventilation other than open window-door and tabe ventilator. Could be problems in hot summer seasons. I myself kept the window open and ventilator switched on all night long.

The front of house staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgable, providing great advice on the local area, transport options and suggestions for dining out, especially helpful during the Olympics when transport routes were limited. Quiet rooms with no noise interference.

Small but functioning lift; maximum of 2 people in the lift at a time so can necessitate a waiting period. Consider requesting a lower floor if mobility is limited.

Great location, nearby Gare du Nord and Poissonnière metro station. Good food options available nearby. Hotel also had good choices for vegetarian breakfast. I loved that they also arranged bananas for me when I asked. Room was decent sized. Very friendly staff at front-desk and restaurant area.

Little less space in bathroom, lot of construction going on in the day at the property (which is ok, but just made a little harder to sleep after my long travel).
