We wanted a hotel near the centre of town to be able to walk to the Saturday market in front of the fine Périgueux Cathedral. We hadn't reserved on-site parking and the entrance to the large undergound parking in the Square opposite the hotel proved a bit of a challenge in the one-way system; but very good and convenient once we mastered the approach which is on the far side of the square opposite the hotel. The town is a lively place on Saturday morning with a plethora of bars and restaurants. We found a restaurant run by a Maitre Restauranteur for supper on Saturday night. There are only about 3300 in the whole of France. It was an exceptional experience. Fine choices for breakfast the morning after.

The room was mid-sized but beautifully furnished. It was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. The staff were very efficient and friendly.

I was told parking was free, but I was asked to park in the nearby multi-storey on the first night. There were 10 parking spaces at the back of the hotel. Three of them were free the first night. I would have appreciated being directed to one the first night. Also, a washbasin in the WC as well as the bathroom would have been welcome.

The staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent, beds were comfortable, separation of bathroom from toilet very well designed.

Room very very small but well designed. it was possible to separate twin beds with one foot apart. Why is this so hard to find? Surely there are many people traveling with one other person who are not intimate. One problem was hair dryer: power required continuous pressure on back of handle…difficult with arthritis. Also due to conservation of energy, there was no fan. But overall extremely good design!

Rooms were great, clean and comfortable. Air con worked so well that I was sad to leave it! Bathroom facilities were modern and everything was so clean. Breakfast was delicious. Walking distance of the old town of Perigueux and close to the intercity bus stop. One of our rooms was upgraded and had dressing gowns, slippers and free mini bar!

The hotel was very comfortable, rooms were clean, good WiFi reception. Did not have breakfast, so no comment. Good location where we were able to walk to some of the local sites.

Had a room facing the street so it was rather noisy at times. Definitely need a car if you want to see some of the other sites near Périgueux.

Everything. It was really comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff were unfailingly helpful. The location is perfect, for the town and for parking. The breakfast had a great range of foods.

Absolutely nothing and if I had to think of the slightest quibble, just as information for the hotel, the croissants weren’t of the highest quality.

Excellent location with some private parking and public parking just across the square. Common areas attractively decorated. Upgraded superior room was spacious, quiet and with plenty of storage. The AC worked well. Breakfast was varied, coffee good. Efficient staff.

It wasn’t a problem for us, but 17:00 is late for check in.

No atmosphere in the bar and lounges , cold and unwelcoming . Paper cups in the rooms for tea and coffee , too thin and flimsy for hot drinks ,cheap pillows . Cost too high for the location and facilities ,

We liked the fact that the hotel was very centric and had a parking although it was no possible to reserve a parking space in advance and we had the car loaded. We were lucky to have space. We liked the room very much, very big, we chose the highest level.

It is a shame that in a four star hotel and for the price we paid, they do not provide accessories in the bathroom, such as body milk or conditioner for the hair, they only had normal soap. They accept dogs but no bed offered for the dog. For the rest we were happy and we would come back.

Good location close to tourist sites and centre. Pleasant staff. Comfortable room and really comfy bed

No space in their parking but very reasonable paid parking across the road.only 13 euro for two days. Our phone navigation took us down a no go bus lane to reach the hotel so beware.
