We stayed one night only to be close to the port of Dunkirk the next day. 1. Lovely welcoming couple willing to share stories and help you out with anything. 2. Great rural and quiet location. 3., Delightful home-made jams at the typical French breakfast. 4. Spacious bedrooms. 5. The sweetest dog 😄

1. Can be warm in the bedrooms and as it's rural, mosquitoes prevent you to open the windows. Host informed us about it and provided anti-mosquito stuff up front already. Got stung anyway, but stung them harder in the morning 😎 2. Nothing!

The owners were extremely friendly, kind and helpful and we enjoyed spending the evening with them. The room was very spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and had all the necessary items, including shower gel, shampoo and fluffy towels. It was in a very quiet area and we slept very well.

The owners prepared a lovely selection of jams and honey to have with toast for our breakfast, but we were disappointed that they didn't offer croissants or cheese! A stay in France is not complete without a croissant and cheese!!

Thomas and Marie were very welcoming, their place is lovely, lots of room, pool table and fridge is available with a t.v and your own area for lounging Lovely garden to sit in. Comfy beds. Breakfast was really nice. They were very helpful when I was in need. They have a lovely well behaved dog and a cat and a hen for egg's at breakfast.

Their teenagers sons bedroom on the same floor as ours but we hardly see him and I slept in their daughter's bedroom, but I'm sure she doesn't mind.

We arrived late but Thomas & Marie were welcoming, friendly & helpful. We had a massive apartment with a choice of bedrooms, i credible bathroom, 2 sitting rooms & tea & coffee making facilities & everything we needed. Shame only to stay 1 night & then get up early in the dark to go back to Calais for the channel tunnel - only 45 minutes. Thomas still got up at 6am to give us drinks & say goodbye! We stayed in Zoe’s old room with all the triathlon trophies - wow - thank you Zoe! Thank you family! Emma, John, Gracie & Harry ☺️

What was there not to like, we loved it. My friend has saved it for his future visits. The room size, the idyllic surrounds, the very warm welcome, and their friendliness. A store a few miles away. Their very nice friendly dog and cat.

We were advised of the access road to be used, not the muddy trail. So we were fine on our motorcycles. So nothing to not like at all.

The rooms were great. The owners were the best hosts we’ve encountered. Delivered a choice of drinks free of charge to the garden and gave us lots of space when needed but also very engaging. Breakfast was homemade right down to the jam fruit being grown in the garden!!! FABULOUS. ❤️

I prefer a softer bed but this is a personal preference. My husband was happy!

An old-fashioned B&B in the sense that you have rooms in the owner's house, but the rooms are in a separate area of the house, so there is still privacy. The kitchen is shared with the owner, which will be a matter of taste if you like that or not, but she is very nice and friendly - and even generously did the dishes for us. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Overall a very nice place, with a really good breakfast.

Nothing in particular.

Good location as a stop over. Marie and Thomas were very welcoming and made our short stay excellent. We were warned in advance not to follow Satnav directions down a dirt tract but arrive from Arnecke. The house was easy to find and park. Marie recommended L'estaminet Kasteelhof restaurant, where we had an excellent and reasonably priced meal.

There is nothing to dislike.

Marie and Thomas are really warm and friendly people. we arrived much later than planned because of the Brexit madness at Dover (thank you ERG for stealing our freedom of movement) but this was accommodated with no fuss at all. Beds were very comfortable and breakfast excellent with Marie’s home made jams. All were excellent but the rhubarb was the winner. Would happily stay here again and will look to return in the future.

nothing - perfect in every way

Thomas and Marie-Aline are perfect hosts. We had to book last minute as we were ditched by another host and they were simply lovely receiving us 5 including our little dog. Breakfast is delicious and their garden is splendid a perfect spot for a relaxing morning. We will come back
