Location is great: a quiet former fishing village. The hotel, set in the heart of the village, exudes rustic charm. The rooms are simply furnished but tastefully decorated. A varied and ample breakfast is available.

The restaurant is usually closed on Wednesday, and we booked dinner at Hotel Normandy. On arrival, we found that our hotel was serving dinner after all, given it was May Day. I wish they'd told us they were going to be open (although Normandy did a great job).

We had a spacious, lovely and sparkling clean room, excellent communication and service, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The building is gorgeous and beautifully modernised while maintaining the old style charme, and it’s a few minutes walk to the beach and amenities in town. Food (breakfast and dinner) was absolutely delicious. Definitely somewhere we will come back to!

The location was great, close to the beach and all amenities in Wissant. The staff were polite and welcoming. The beautiful decor and ambience conveyed the long history of the building as a seaside hotel, but the facilities were clean, comfortable and of a modern day standard. The owners have managed to create a perfect balance between old and new in the environment. I had breakfast in the hotel which provided an ample variety of food to choose from; the dining room was spacious and calm.

The price on asked for the room on arrival was higher than when I had booked, although this was quickly attended to so that I did not pay any more than expected. The breakfast was slightly more expensive than the price displayed outside the hotel, but I did not mind paying the extra as I enjoyed a lovely breakfast.

Fantastic and characterful old French hotel in the centre of the delightful town of Wissant, a short distance away from the magnificent beech. Some rooms are very simple (the hotel is undergoing refurbishment) but had a great time. Superb breakfast

The setting of this quintessentially French hotel is amazing, the town of Wissant is a gem so near to Calais, watching the kite surfers on the beach was a great way to pass the afternoon. The hotel room was spotless and the bed really comfortable, the staff weee helpful. The dinner in the evening was worth booking, a great atmosphere in the dining room and breakfast was more than enough, fresh coffee and juice, croissants and bread, eggs, jams, cheese and ham. Plenty to set you up fo the day.

Nothing, I read the other reviews and the hotel exceeded my expectations. We were glad that it maintained it’s French feel, it has a charm you do not get in hotel chains.

Located in the centre of the town and a short walk away from the beach. Good continental breakfast in a pretty dining room. Felt very classic with rooms overlooking the courtyard. Only 15mins from the eurotunnel so was a good one night stopover.

Rooms a little sparse/could have been a bit more comfortable e.g no headboards on the beds. Dusty underneath the beds and stained covers on divan.

Good location. Nice room with view over the courtyard. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Lovely ambience. We would go back.

The restaurant and bar were closed 2 of the 3 nights we were there. Too cold to go out in the courtyard in the evening. So no communal area. Stairs narrow and steep for us old people carrying up luggage. We coped!

The breakfast was lovely - with the ability to use lovely individual tea-pots. The room was beautiful - views across the river and the town and lovely floor boards. The food in the restaurant was also delicious.

The one thing that would have improved this would have been the ability to make tea or coffee in the room. There was no kettle or any facilities to make an early morning drink.

Great location if travelling to or from Calais, and you don't want to stay in a big town. The hotel is very french, has lots of rustic charm yet uncluttered, with many original features.

It's not a negative, just an observation The hotel has a narrow winding staircase, making it a little tricky when taking suitcases to the top floor.

Location was lovely, in a smallish town, near the beach. Hotel was clean with a good choice of food for breakfast. Excellent value for money.

The bedside tables could have been better than rickety straw things that you couldn't put a drink on :-D Shower over the bath with just a shower curtain could have been better too. Finally, we would have liked twin beds but the hotel only has double beds.
