We had the Royal Suite with private pool overlooking the ocean. The room is so close to the ocean that the waves will keep you up, if you are not used to it. I did not mind, but some of my crew did :) Room was huge! We arrived late from a flight that landed at 7PM. Hotel room was ready for us, but the extra bed was not. We had to request extra bedding for the 5th person in the room. Took a while to get it right. On the positive side: View was amazing, room was nice and accommodating with nice patio, and pool. Good value for the money.

The room itself had some annoyances: there are quite a few things broken, such as toilet flush button, AC dripping on the floor. You don't expect that in such a hotel / room, but not a big deal. Kitchen was missing a lot of stuff. Patio chairs old and semi broken.

We loved our room and the view of the pool and the ocean! The food was good and the server staff were excellent. You can't beat this location - it was quiet and relaxing, just what we needed after a long flight from the U.S. We stayed four nights before getting on our Windstar cruise. We would definitely stay at the Le Tahiti Pearl!

The outdoor bar staff were not very fluent in English so we had some difficulty ordering cocktails, but that was a minor issue.

Ocean front room that had an amazing view from the balcony! We were located at the end of the line of building which provided privacy over the black sand beach with a view of Moorea! We need a place to rest before leaving on a late flight this was just the place for us!

The air conditioner was not working which was not to big of an issue as the breeze from the ocean front helped. When we called for service we couldn't use the phone as it did not connect to the front desk. We had to walk down to request help, which did not come.

I was looking for a sizeable unrestricted swimmable beach, and this resort has it. (Plage Radisson) A nice black sand beach, which is overlooked by the deck adjacent to the pool, a perfect combination with views all the way around. It is so accessible (A few stairs to the beach). I recommend a higher floor room to appreciate the spacious balcony views over the palms with Moorea in the distance. Great for sunsets. If your stay requires a beach, please do your research, I don't think it could be better than this. Look at the satellite photo and see the two-tone pool, deck and beach. The Staff was most helpful too. It was really an enjoyable stay..they assisted in my lost luggage (two days), so it was no problem. The oceanfront bar and dining area very scenic. It was really an enjoyable stay.

Amazing hotel where we spent few days of our honeymoon. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We had a room with sea view and hot tub. It was great. Restaurant is really good; we ate really well, and service was great. Beach is nice, black sand. We did not swim much but it was fun to play with the waves. Pool is amazing. Great happy hour. Overall, a great place.

Not much to do around the hotel unless you have a car. We still managed to go to the market once (the hotel had a great free shuttle to bring you there) and do a solo hike on the hills behind Venus point.

Spectacular room with incredible views. Location excellent, on site facilities good.

Some of the food items on the restaurant menu were extremely expensive, and some of the items were not as good as would have been expected from a resort of this calibre. Also, the steam room facilities were noted as 'broken and unusable'. At a resort of this size and cost, to have any of the facilities unavailable to guests is not acceptable.

The black sand beach was worth staying here. The pool was great. The service was good, but sometimes a little slow compared to the resort experience you get in Mexico, but that was fine as we just wanted to sit by the pool and get waited on. The Tahitian experience is much more European with more strict ideas of when and where you should eat and drink. Our room was really great, a little dated but we had a suite and it had a fabulous view! The grounds were gorgeous. I thought we got good value by staying here. It was not super spendy but had great service, good food and drinks, and most importantly, a gorgeous setting.

We weren't quite prepared for the European lean of Thahiti in general, so the more traditional adherence to breakfast, lunch, and dinner schedules was a little too heavy handed for us when we just wanted to sit by the pool and be waited on. However, the staff was more than willing to deal with our less rigid schedule. If you are expecting constant pool service, you might be disappointed, but that should not deter you from the view, pool, wonderful people, and gorgeous black sand beach that is steps away from your pool chair.

Toni and the other man on reception with him were exceptional. They were both friendly, helpful and very fluent in English which we were so grateful for as we had struggled with this at the Hilton earlier in our vacation. Infact, even the Porter Nui? had excellent English and was very helpful. The black sand beach is stunning and unique with soft sand, crashing waves and beautiful views of mountains fading into the distance. Our room was comfortable and quite large with a generous balcony too. They also had a great sized pool.

The bed was a little firm for our liking but still comfortable.

- we got welcome drinks and refreshing towels, great after a long flight - also received welcome gifts (a beach bag and a nice pearl, unexpected) - the apartment is big and nicely compartmentd, 2 separate WCs, big main bathroom - nice view - nice beach with fine black sand - some good food in the restaurant

- the door was broken when we arrived in the room, should have been fixed before we got there - the bathroom sinks are a bit clogged, one was broken and had to be fixed - non-luxurious overall

Fabulous room, an upgrade to celebrate our anniversary. Beautiful decorations on the bed to welcome us. We were in the new building, farthest from the pool and restaurant, but very quiet, as requested. Older resort, not sure we would have been as happy in another building, but renovations appear to be happening. A 20+ minute drive from downtown, but worth it for peace and quiet. Good breakfast and range of selections for dinner.

The staff was lovely and friendly, but many of them (women and men) wear far too much perfume or scented products. When you can no longer smell your wine or your food, it’s too much!!
