We really enjoyed our stay at Matiane Hotel. The hotel is situated in a good location, just a few minutes away by foot from the Sulfur Baths. The rooms were very clean and the beds very comfortable. A/C worked fine too. Breakfast was sufficient and generally tasty. The staff at the reception were always super friendly. On the day of our departure we had to check out very early (before breakfast) but Mariam from the reception prepared for us a few sandwiches and gave us water which was very very sweet of her and we thank her for that! The hospitality was superb! We hope to be back one day 😊

Nice new hotel in Tbilisi with big cozy rooms. We stayed four nights in Matiane and we enjoyed every bit of it. The rooms are big with comfortable 180cm beds. The bathroom was nice but the shower could get an additional cleaning. The terrace is amazing and you can easily relax there after a day of sightseeing. The breakfast buffet was amazing with great options. Everyday there was something new to try from. I chose this hotel because of pictures of the buffet and was happy to discover that it’s real!! It’s a quiet area where you feel safe. The staff is making themself available for ang questions you may have. They helped us order food on the night of arrival. Great value for money.

Almost everything was so good in this hotel, staffs are so nice and helpful, we liked view of the city from roof of the hotel, clean rooms, wonderful but repetitive breakfast, the uphill is a little bit annoying and streets beside the hotel little bit noisy during the night, but overall, we were satisfied by choosing this hotel to stay.

maybe i had this problem but i think communication is a little bit hard in there but everything could be done even with the body language, also, we had a big big problem with the check in and check out, as our flight was at 4 am we had to check out 16 hours earlier and stayed on the streets with three baggage until we headed to the airport, it was my mistake too that i did not reserve one more day but also the receptionist did not even help us to get more money from us or even call their manager if she can take money for one more full day and let us stay there,

Hotel Matiana is located in the old city, a quiet, authentic place with a pastoral view. Very close to the center with lots of restaurants and attractions, about a 7 minute walk inside the neighborhood. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, beautiful view from the window. Varied and delicious breakfast. Would like to mention the staff of the hotel, kind and helpful, especially Rezi, helped us a lot with the problem that arose during the trip. Best place to stay in Tbilisi -Very clean and renovated recently so everything is perfect -Amazing breakfast and lots of options -Room was so nice, clean & view was amazing -Staff is very nice and they speak English and avaliable 24 hours -location is just 4 mins only walking to old tiblisi Everything around that you will need Staying there made our trip the best

Nothing it is an amazing place to stay

Very smart quaint boutique style hotel in Tbilisi Old Town. Very comfy bed, super clean, lovely balcony looking out onto the street, great decor and fab bathroom. Nice buffet breakfast, staff friendly.

A large tour group from East Asia arrived during our stay and completely took over the place, made ridiculous amounts of noise and kept trying to come into our room at night. Constantly trying our room door. On one night they opened our door at 3AM obviously using a master key. Fortunately I was up anyway as they were making so much noise and managed to slam the door on them. They completely swamped the breakfast area also leaving nowhere to sit. Not really the hotels fault though. We arrived in the early hours of the morning and found the hotel open but deserted which was stressful. We found our door key behind the desk and checked ourselves in as no staff about.

Great Location. Walking distance to discover center of Tbilisi. Very helpful, communicative and smiling staff which is rare in Georgia! Very comfy beds. Lovely interior design of the hotel. Free on street parking right next to hotel. Decent breakfast selection.

It would be great to have some oatflakes/porridge added to the breakfast selection.

The place was super clean! The reception was so helpful and you can easily say that they really care about their customers. The owner of the hotel name Gigi was amazing, I had a feeling that he was my long time friend. Place of the hotel is something else!! Most beautiful view you can even imagine. I would recommend this hotel to everyone!! THE BEST ONE!!!

Good location, has friendly staff, stylish rooms, and is very clean. The building is also beautiful and looks organically in the old city.

For the first night, I was given an Economy room (according to the booking), however, I booked and paid for a Standard room. The room was equipped for people with limited mobility (good that the hotel has that!), but it was not cozy and the bathroom was terrible: the shower was not fenced, so the water was everywhere, the sink was too low and it was almost impossible to wash hands without getting wet; each time the floor got wet and slippery. The bread at breakfast was not very fresh. Other food looked well.

The hotel was beautiful, just as presented in photos. The room was spacious with a beautiful view of Old Tblisi. We told the staff that we wouldn't be able to make our breakfast the next morning as we will be leaving for the airport in the middle of the night. When we were leaving, they gave us a few packed sandwiches, fruit, and water for our trip and it was a beautiful gesture. We really appreciated it!

A slight uphill walk but totally worth it.
