It was a very calm environment. Perfect for resting. You were able to declare that you don’t wanna be distrubed during the stay and have privacy in your room which worked pretty well. For not getting room service you got a free water. It was quiet during the night and the room was comfortable. The breakfast was amazing and perfect for vegans as well. We were surprised. There is a private entrance to a hike trail on the property of the hotel and you are able to join a guided walk on some days. Free water and apples all day. We went during christmas and the decorations were very cute too.

The pool is not separated from the spa area, so people are walking through the room every time they are trying to get to a sauna or spa activity and a lot of people were resting next to the pool which can be intimidating if you just wanna go for a swim and not into the spa. On Saturdays there is a party which can lead to people being less mindful when coming back to their room later in the evening.

It was a perfect short stay in proximity to the Therme and the main areas of the town in a cosy hotel which surprised us with excellent own spa facilities and easy adjacent parking. Very friendly and effective staff, clean and nice rooms. Bathroom appears a little old-fashioned but still is functional.

The rooms facing the main road are a little noisy, quiet enough with the double window, but with open windows during the hot season difficult to sleep with. It was a little confusing to orientate oneself in the spa/pool facilities. (Slippers would be convenient with the bathrobes offered by the hotel.)

My partner and I had a wonderful weekend at Harz Hotel & Spa Seela in Bad Harzburg. The hotel’s charming ambiance and exceptional spa facilities made our stay incredibly relaxing. The location was perfect for exploring the Harz mountains and local attractions. The breakfast and dining experience was superb, with a fantastic buffet selection. We highly recommend this hotel for a delightful and rejuvenating getaway.

The only issue we faced was that the bed and pillows were too firm for our liking.

we only stayed one night. we arrived by foot after hiking 3 days in Harz so the highlight would be the hot sauna and the indoor swimming pool. It's so relaxing and restore your energy. I wish we had time for more spa activities. Dinner was very very good and delicious and breakfast was really rich with so many choices, also great for hikers. I also liked the theme decorations of antlers everywhere 😍🦌 and the room was very comfortable. We got a free bus tickets for the morning but decided to walk because Bad Harzburg is a beautiful city and very pleasant for morning walk. The train station was a 30 minutes relaxed walk away. definitely coming back to Bad Harzburg and to Spa Seela!

Good location, close to Burgberg Cable Car and the Baumwipfelpfad (Tree Top aerial walkway) The Hotel also provided Spa facilities. Transport access was easy with a bus stop right outside the the hotel with links to Bad Harzburg Railway station. Free bus travel was available with the city tax card provided by the hotel. Hotel dining, breakfast and dinner was excellent.

To access the lift you have to go up three stairs. The original room offered did not have lift access. The 'Lift' is listed in the facilities offered. I feel it was good we arrived early to check in.

Television at room 323 doesn’t working at all. We inform reception but they said that there is no one from technic to fix it. No signal for internet. Cold water at swimmingpool. Paid parking. Overprice.

We very much enjoyed our stay! The room was spacious and comfortable, the staff was very pleasant and the location was great for starting hikes. The spa is very nice, while it is not small at all, the hotel is very large and the spa may get a bit crowded at times (but all within limits).

The breakfast was superb. Also the spa facilities were nice. The hotel is within walking distance of many great attractions and the city with many cafees.

The dinner at the hotel was nothing special. Also the staff was not so welcoming.

Hotel is very old outside, but inside looks much better. Right now there is ongoing renovation. There is a huge new parking lot near the hotel (10 EUR per day), so we did not even use garage of the hotel. We were in the building #4 and this was perfect for visiting the pool. There are few restaurants inside the hotel, which we also can recommend. Hotel is very good to come with a friends.

Rooms are pretty small and they are not the best part of the hotel (at least in the building #4), hope they will be renovated as well. WiFi is ok, but not for all rooms. To get stable connection in our room we had to use 2(!) repeaters, one in the hall and one phone near the door in the room. Hey, Seela, just put one good repeater at every floor.
