Staff is friendly, the rooms are modern, well-furnished, and are kept very clean. Breakfast is very varied.

I had access to the executive lounge; unfortunately, the lounge itself was rather poorly furnished, with uncomfortable chairs. Also, there was a persistent bad smell. The snacks on offer (and the hot and cold buffet served after 17.30) were poor in quality; they weren't what you would expect in an executive lounge.

Beautiful entrance, clean hotel and welcoming check in. Close to the central.

We have been to few JW Marriott’s in the world and this one is on the bottom of our list. 5 star hotel but no butler at the entrance. I had to drag suitcases by myself… On the way to our room there was plates with left over food from the room service on the floor outside the rooms (next day was still there). Room was nice just enough for a couple. A little bit old… Reception should be 24/7… I have been calling at 1 AM because I needed extra towels but no response… Service and staff needs to be improved.

The room was excellent, an exceptionally large double room, with a view over the city (or the part of the city visible from the hotel). We were also able to make use of the indoor swimming pool, which obviously isn't large, but it's not a bathtub either: It's a real pool. (Although the lockers were all broken and unusable.) The bar was very nice ("retro" feeling), with surprisingly reasonable prices. The steak restaurant also served very good steaks at, yes, highish prices but also excellent quality. There is also a kind of bakery/cafe' on the ground floor as a good alternative to the full breakfast. Very nice and helpful staff. And the hotel itself is quite lovely, with a beautiful lobby.

The location is good in some ways: there are a few museums right next door, including the relatively new modern art museum, the museum of the resistance, and a couple of others. But otherwise it's a bit off the beaten tourist track. You can walk to Potsdamer Platz, but it's a good 20 minute hike. We ended up using taxis (of which there are fortunately many types in Berlin) to go places. As long as the pros and cons of the location are clear, you can have a very nice stay here.

Service was good and quick, room was clean and quiet, everywhere in the premises was cosy and well organised. For sure costs it's money.

The pool is not big enough for the size of the hotel and chlore was smelling in the corridor of the floor, where it's located.

Beautiful building, exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. I stayed here for a week and all my interactions with the staff were handled in an exceptionally generous and caring manner—they clearly take genuine pleasure in taking care of their guests. Generous rooms with perfect sound insulation. Excellent housekeeping. So many great details. Overall: a fantastic version of the thing it's trying to be. A real achievement—the entire hotel team can be proud. Thank you!

It's hard to find things to say. Some small things: in the spa, the men's changing room is too small and some lockers need repair. In the bedroom, there should be more power plugs near to the desk. When the chefs make eggs for breakfast, ideally they would serve them on a warm plate.

I can't deny that I made an excellent choice for the JW Marriott Hotel Berlin during my stay in Germany. I was able to visit incredible and historic places, enjoy local food and also have the opportunity to discover places that I would never have thought of visiting. The staff at the JW Marriott Hotel Berlin were completely attentive to me and willing to help me whenever I needed them. I also can't forget to mention the wonderful, varied and delicious breakfast. The room I stayed in was completely clean and very tidy, it was one of the best and most cozy rooms I've ever stayed in. One of the strong points is undoubtedly the location, which is around a 35-minute walk to the Brandenburg Gate and other surrounding attractions. I would like to thank the hotel staff for their kindness and for providing me with incredible days while I was in Berlin.

The hotel is in easy walking distance from some public transport however less mobile guests will probably need a taxi to get to the nearest U-Bahn stop. The room was spacious, well equipped and the bed was extremely comfortable. The shower was powerful and hot, just what you need after a long day of exploring bernin at winter time. The front desk staff really make this place, helpful and cheery at every interaction. Blackout blinds were great for us as we like to sleep in during the mornings and stay out a bit later at night.

Our room was close to the elevator and you could quite often hear people moving around and chatting which did wake us a few times. The housekeeping staff were very efficient and friendly however quite noisy when cleaning the rooms either side of ours (banging walls with vacuum cleaners, talking loudly to each other right outside our door) and they would start early.

The staff were fantastic and helpful. For example there was a fire alarm at 2am which can't be helped, but the staff were immediately checking on customers and handing out blankets which was great. The location was quiet and peaceful and the rooms were exceptionally clean and spacious.

My partner unexpectedly came on her period during our stay and the hotel did not have any feminine hygiene products for customers. It being a Sunday morning meant that there was very limited options and I had to walk to the main train station to find anywhere open. Also, I was unaware that the red light district is a couple of blocks away which meant that a late night walk to a local convenience store felt quite dangerous. Also, a very minor point but there was no reading lamp or electrical outlets to one side of the bed.

As I was in Berlin for the Berlinale, it was a ten-minute walk to the venues, great. Breakfast was fantastic, what an amazing range of food, and the omelette chef was a great idea

The security for when Zelensky turned up was probably a bit over the top. Having to wait outside for 20 minutes while the police checked you were actually staying there and then being escorted into the building, ok, I get it, but could have been handled much better. And I asked to join the Marriott loyalty scheme twice, was assured I would be contacted, and nothing has happened. I will stay again when in Berlin but I did expect a bit more proaction,

The room was spacious, well stocked and comfortably. Good location and walking distance to the main attractions in Berlin. There was a nice little swimming pool that was not too busy. Huge Queen size bed in the room and TV with multiple channels.

The swimming pool changing rooms needed a clean up. The breakfast was an additional 35 Euros per person per day including for children. There is no way my three children would eat 105 Euros worth of breakfast each day so we went out for breakfast instead. The mattress was a little bit lopsided on one side, but my son was fine with that.
