* Rooms on the 6th floor under the bar are EXTREMELY NOISY on Friday and Saturday nights. Guests should be warned of this if they're given these rooms. Staff was very helpful in moving me to another room for the second weekend, though. * It would be nice to have plain sheets in addition to the comforter. I know this is a German thing, but I don't understand how to be comfortable on hot days. * Since there is no air conditioning (normal in Germany), there should at least be a fan supplied in the room.

Facilities were really good; I stayed in the 8-bed hostel room and the bunk beds had a curtain to pull closed over your bed with a light, USB & wall plugs, and a little shelf and closeable storage inside. The communal kitchen was also excellent - hobs, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge & freezer. Free towels! And after we checked out the reception staff were happy to keep our bags for a few hours longer so that we could walk around a bit longer without all our stuff. We didn't ever actually lock our storage boxes - just put stuff on our bed and closed the curtain - and nothing was moved or stolen ever. We made friends on the first night through the welcome drinks and went to an art gallery & dinner with them!

The shower did leak into the room and corridor one day and the reception staff did seem upset at us, even though I hadn't noticed as I was in bed. The wifi also didn't work at all one night, but when I disconnected and reconnected the next morning it was fine. The doors occasionally didn't unlock even though they said 'unlock', but after 2 or 3 tries it always worked. I didn't expect the communal area to be right by the door & reception, it made it more of a waiting area than a communal area, but the kitchen was actually very sociable & everyone was happy to chat.

Cool hostel with a good vibe, great terrace overlooking the city with a bar and events on some nights, making it very good for meeting other travelers. There's also a shared kitchen and a small backyard. Beds are good with privacy curtains, lights, plugs and personal lockers. Ensuite bathroom was spacious and comfortable.

On a Friday night during my stay the terrace was closed off for private events, which takes away the main advantage of the place. There are lockers inside the bed area, which made the space a bit small and cramped (and my locker couldn't even be locked).

Overall experience was very good and met our expectations. Friendly helpful staff, good vibe and location. There's a shared kitchen and garden, we didn't really use it much but made us feel at home. The rooftop bar and restaurant both worth trying! The bar and lobby are pretty good places to work with a laptop in the daytime. Our room's bathroom was very modern and clean which made up for the small size of the room and low ceilings.

The room was good but a little on the small side, bit of a shoe box with low ceilings. More like a modern type of hostel room than a hotel room, maybe that's the intention, therefore something to be aware of when booking and all depends on your expectations and if you want to work in the room, I wouldn't reccomend it. There's a desk and a chair though

The rooms are a great size and was clean. With chargers in a and next to your bed. Bathrooms and showers and within the rooms itself which could be seen as an advantage or a disadvantage. The rooftop bar is nice to sit and enjoy the sunset while meeting people. (Bar closes at 10pm). The beds are comfy and the check in and check out was easy.

The rooftop bar seems to close at 10pm on weekdays even where there is a lot of people still enjoying the view and conversations - my guess would be health and safety or gov regulations. There is no laundry facilities on site which is odd for a hostel of this nature. (Laundrette about 500m away).

The location is just perfect, one station away from Alexanderplatz, around 15 minutes of walking. In the neighborhood there are a lot of cafés, shops and restaurants all within walking distance. I really loved that they have different social events. Didn't participate in one but I find it super useful for someone that's on a longer stay here. The coworking space is just amazing - and the free snacks and water are such a nice addition. Thank you!

The space to deposit your luggage in the room doesn't have a lock. Would be a nice addition if you could buy/rent a lock from the front desk.

The artisan breakfast, offered by Selina is great. There is a big choice of different options. Good coffee and fresh orange juice makes the breakfast exceptional. Don‘t expect buffet you order breakfast from menu. You can find U-Bahn Rosa-Luxemburg in 2 min. walking distance from hotel. Si you’re doing n several minutes on Alexanderplatz. Hackescher Markt is also in walking distance. So location is really good.

Preparation of the breakfast took a long time sometimes and if you’re on your business trip it’s inconvenient.

This hotel was one of the nicest I have stayed in anywhere. The room was excellent, comfortable and spacious. The staff were very friendly and were able to accommodate me despite arriving slightly earlier than the check-in time. Location is great, close to a could of U/S-Bahn stations, and there are plenty of nice cafes and restaurants in the immediate area. I will certainly hope to stay here next time I'm in Berlin.

I can't think of anything that I didn't like, the only thing that comes to mind is that the little fob for the keypad/lock for the room took a couple of goes for it to work sometimes - but to be honest, it certainly didn't affect my stay.

The stuff was very friendly! It was a feeling like we've been always friends :) Ready to help any time and in any case. The room was very cosy, warm, tidy, spacious. I hade a tower view - lucky me :)

There wasn't hotel slippers (usually they're included in similar hotels) and there wasn't a hair dryer in the room. There are only blackout curtains. In the daytime I would prefer to cover windows with something light-through from the opposite really close buildings' windows. Though these details didn't ruin my in general good impression of this place.

The entire atmosphere of the hotel/hostel was great. Very stylish and modern. The bed was really comfy. The bathroom was cleaned daily. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash and toilet paper were provided. The bathroom was also very modern - did not feel like a hostel setting at all. The curtain which was attatched to the bed was very much light blocking. There were multiple charging sockets near the bed as well as in the cabinet inside your cubicle where you can store your things. I did not have breakfast, but the selection looked tasty. The rooftop lounge is a very nice touch. Morning yoga took place there which you can attend free of charge. The hotel/hostel is only a 12 minute tram ride from the central station. During the night I did not hear any noise. All in all a lovely experience and will definitely book again.

The locker cabinet in the bed cubicle was able to be locked but could easily be opened whild locked as the latch was strange. Thus meaning you are able to open the cabinet while it was locked. Maybe mine was just faulty but I think it is a design flaw.
