Location - just over the exit of autobahn Parking space - lot of space for cars to park Room size - decent space for a family View - nice view from the room through the lush green of Black Forest Facilities - decent gym, Sauna, steam etc. corridor - nicely decorated with paintings and pleasant carpet Place to sit for breakfast - enough space to handle the crowd. Coffee machine at reception - nice bonus for people to take away coffee in the morning when you drive into the Black Forest.

- Not enough charge points for car - Breakfast spread could have been better for the money you pay for - price of dinner is a bit high.

The hotel was really nice - interior of the hotel, breakfast, bar, rooms were super. Room was spacious, clean, quiet with a comfy bed. On breakfast there were wide range of choise. The bar is open every day til 1 a.m. and the waiter there was helpful and kind. You can take a dinner at the hotel too. The location was great, so close to the highway. We enjoyed the stay.

The menu at the hotel for dinner is a bit expensive. I think the staff was a bit confused on reception and at the hotel like this I think they might be much more welcoming, helpful and kind. At check-in, they gave us separated beds, even when we checked one, so we requested a change. On check-out, nobody validated our parking ticket, they did only when we came back with the question if parking was not included, when the machine wanted us to pay 17€.

Perfect stop point for a long trip from NL to Italy. We arrived late in the evening and left very early in the morning, so our stay was just few hours. However great to refresh and rest few hours in a nice room.

The receptionist in the evening (Francesca was the name, if i am correct) was great. Really nice person. On the other hand, her colleague that was making the night shift was quite rude and grumpy. I understand that the night shift is not great, but that is not guest's fault. He should probably learn some manners.

Room was nice, breakfast was just great, and I really appreciated the tea selection. The beddings and towels were visibly clean, there was free water in the room as well as other useful things like water boiler, iron.

The smell. It was horrible. The toilet in the room smelled very bad. They really need to use some air freshener or at ventilate it well before the new guests arrive. The same applies to the carpet, it smelled like dust. For people like me with dust allergies this was suboptimal. I understand this is the most cost efficient material, but it really needs good cleaning. However, after two hours of ventilation I could enjoy my stay. That said, toilet was cleaned and the shower was well functioning, probably recently renovated, and clean.

place is nice, luxurious style, I forgot money there and they kept it, called me, kept record of it and stored it in a dedicated safe, staff is nice and relatable, reliable wifi everywhere in the premises, Penny supermarket a few minutes walk away

clothes washed in the sink are difficult to hang and dry for free, sometimes check-in takes a while because there's only 1 busy staff and a line can form

Very comfortable hotel, clean and tide. Easy to get to! Great breakfast.

We were traveling with another family and I didint like the fact that at the check-in they didnt pay attention to who is who, they give our room to the others (in that room was a welcome bascket and a note with my name on in it). In the other room was no welcome note, no welcome basket, although both rooms were the same category. That was not very nice for the other child, who didint had the same experience as the other one. Once in a while details do matter! At least for us, families traveling with kids!

The staff did not seem to be very friendly or welcoming, however, helpful, no problem with it. The room was spacious and clean. It had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and we could rest well during our journey. The breakfast was fine and offered a large variety of choices both sweet and sour. The location was good for our needs since the hotel is really close to the highway.

The restaurant was very expensive while the price did not reflect the food quality and taste. The parking is fairly expensive for an isolated place by the highway. The shower jet was quite weak.

Comfortable bed, good breakfast, convenient location close to the motorway. Free coffee, water and candies at reception. Decent sized room. Pleasant views.

Not the hotel's fault, but the taxi into Ettlingen (10 minute ride) took long to arrive and was very expensive, as it had to come from nearby Karlsruhe. Staff were mixed. Some were very friendly and polite, others seemed a bit stressed or robotic.

One of the best hotels i have stayed in in a long time. Lovely room. Big comfortable bed. What really stood out were the two bottles of complementary water. Such a nice touch as there is nothing worse than arriving at a hotel and having the choice to buy eitehr expernsive water from the min bar or go out shopping again. More hotels should follow suit as it doesnt cost much and pleases the guests. THe internet was good and fast and the choice of food at breakfasst was very good.

Everything is according to our standards and expectations. Polite and helpful stuff, Nespresso coffee, soft and clean towels. It gives the impression you are back to before COVID standards time. No savings on small things like complimentary water in the room, vanity kit in the bathroom , even iron is in the room!

My husband is allergic to dust and he had an allergic attack in the room. We blame the carpet on the floor.
