Location is excellent, very near to metro station and shops. Breakfast is nice and fresh, though could improve on variety. Staff is super helpful and friendly, on my check-out day, the lift was broken and she offered enthusiastically to help carry my suitcase down from 3rd floor, and the other gentlemen is also very helpful with giving directions to metro stations and places to visit.

Facilities too old, heater take long time to heat up and for overseas traveler with little experience in operating the heating system, would be helpful to give some notice/instruction in the room, as we could not call the receptionist. I notice there is some stain on the bed sheet, and housekeeping did not change the sheets even my stay was 2 nights.

Location was convenient to New Old Town where the Christmas Market was located. Very walkable location close to a number of local museums as well. The hotel featured a German restaurant on-site which was great for convenience with good food and beer. Room was small but had a large storage closet which made it easy to keep suitcases and hanging items out of the way.

The showers on the first floor were elevated above bathroom floor which was very difficult for us older guests. Shower was very small, even by European standards - maybe 3'x3' if lucky. We had to help each other in and out of the shower for safety. Not sure if this configuration is similar on the upper floors.

Location was lovely in the cathedral area. It was so close to the main square with gorgeous konditorei which we wished we had time to visit. It was in walking distance to the U and S-Bahn's. Had breakfast the first morning and it was a lovely buffet selection of cold meats and cheeses, pastries and cereals. They had on hand oat milk which was good for my dairy allergy.

The second morning we had to get up early to go to the airport and would have liked a shower before the long trip home but it was stone cold. We tried everything to no avail but it was still freezing cold. The restaurant next door even though it has the same name is not affiliated with the hotel so don't expect that you will be able to get a table. Us and other guests made this mistake as we were not aware of this minor detail.

The location of this hotel is absolutely great, near all your favorite places, but no noise what so ever from cars or people. Clean room, and we really enjoyed the quality of the beds,. The breakfast buffet was good, plenty of choice and well maintained during the morning. Fresh made eggs and very kind service.

To be honest , the water pressure in the bathroom was not always good and the shower head not well fixed on the wall. If that's fixed, my stay would be perfect!

Breakfast was good. Location was good. They were able to accommodate us in rooms next to each other. Adjoining restaurant was convenient and served decent food.

Not much to complain about. Minor things are, the rooms were smallish but okay and there was no view to speak of. In one of our bathrooms the water pressure was very low and the shower doors didn't come together properly, but the other bathroom was completely fine.

The Hotel offered a good breakfast with a range of cereals, meats, cheeses, boiled eggs and pastries. A choice of juice and tea/coffee was available as were cooked eggs & bacon. The Hotel was in a very convenient location for the Old City of Frankfurt and in easy walking of key sights. The Hotel had an excellent restaurant Wirthaus Paulaner which we highly recommend, although there are others close by which are also very good. The bedroom and its facilities were of a good standard.

Our bedroom was located along the side of the Hotel and so overlooked a street which was used by delivery vehicles early in the morning; however the soundproofing was good so having the window closed overcame (most) of any noise. We were able to arrange an early check out when required to catch our train.

Great location, just a quick walk from the train station and old town. Beautiful church right next door and can listen to the bells during the day. Restaurant on site serves delicious food.

Some of the amenities in the room could use updating or replacing, like one of the lights in the bathroom and one of our fans had a broken stand, so I had to figure out how to push it up against the wall using the chair to keep it upright.

Excellent location right by the cathedral and within walking distance to various options for food and drink. Great restaurant on site, very friendly and delicious food. Friendly staff especially the lovely lady on breakfast duty. Good breakfast selection given the small size of the hotel with fried or scrambled eggs cooked to order and decent sized glasses for juice. Loved the decor - wood paneling and vistas of German (I presume!) countryside.

I had booked a 'deluxe' single room but not sure why it was termed deluxe. The bed was against a wall and uncomfortable so I moved to a bigger room for the next 2 nights. Could do with some money spent on towels (small and frayed), mattresses (soft), pillows (ditto), mattress protector (none, which I found unhygienic) and sheets (some kind of woven material which had trapped a hair that definitely wasn't mine - fortunately at the bottom of the bed and not seen till morning).

The location was perfect for sight seeing around the city centre. The beautiful Frankfurt Cathedral is next door and the Dom Romer Quarter is a couple blocks away. Many shops, cafes and restaurants all around the hotel. It's an easy walk to everything. The restaurant at the hotel was very busy every night but we only ate at the hotel for breakfasts every day which were very good. We were able to park our car for free right in front of the hotel because of the Christmas holiday but a public pay lot was just around the corner if we needed it.

The rooms seem a little tired and could use some upgrades. The bathroom was extremely small but functional.

The hotel is in a great but popular location. We planned our arrival at the earliest check in time at 2pm, coming by car, however, it seemed every other person coming into Frankfurt was arriving at the same time and all wanting to access the same car parking complex which flashed FULL every other minute. Traffic was bumper to bumper, drivers getting irate. We decided to head to the airport about 20 minutes away, handed in the rental car a day early and got a maxi taxi back to the hotel - was far more pleasant. (We did notice on the following day that traffic and the car parking complex is very quiet up to about 10.30am - so you might want to consider arriving before check in, and wander around Frankfurt's old town in the meantime). For our family of 5 (kids 11, 16 & 18), we booked the standard double room and a Family Room with a private bathroom that had a small balcony that looked out to the Dom Cathedral. The beds were comfortable, tea/coffee/water amenities were provided. The breakfast provided offered various options, the lady serving and providing hot beverages was very attentive and pleasant as was the lady on reception. We were lucky enough to get in a dinner at the restaurant but would recommend making a reservation so you can be assured a table.
