Fantastic location in old quarter. Our room was simple but spacious enough with everything that we needed. The bed and the pillow were very comfortable, the latter being unusual in our experience. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. The hotel offers free passes for all public transport in and areas surrounding the city. The trams are easy to use and frequent.

The basin in our bathroom which seemed to have been incorrectly plumbed in and didn’t appear to have a working plug! The shower cabinet was quite small but the shower itself worked very well and was easy to use.

Great location, very close to the parking garage. Near the center of town so everything is easily accessible. Staff was also very kind and helpful.

Booking.com should add the details about where to park. The hotel is located on a street that cars cannot drive on. If the parking garage on Schloss-bergring Strasse was listed we wouldn't have had to drive around in circles! That parking garage is about a half block walking distance from the hotel. Would be a helpful addition!

The location of the hotel was suberb. Located in the center of the old town of Freiburg, everything was within walking distance. The tram was just 5 minutes away with a direct connection to the central station. The room itself was in good and clean condition. Nothing particulary outstanding for good or bad. I cannot judge the breakfast as I always ate elsewhere.

Personally, I had no problems. But the guest wing of my room had no step-free access so the hotel is not exactly accessible. The surrounding area has almost exclusively cobblestone which is nice to look at but challenging for people using wheelchairs.

Very nice hotel right in the old town and close to a lot of cute shops. Getting there was easy using the tram. The staff was very nice and friendly, allowed me to check in when I arrived even though it was a bit before the official check in time. The classic double room was more than large enough for one person, clean, comfortable, newly renovated, and modern. Great value and highly recommended!

My room was facing the street so it was a bit loud at night when there are people outside talking, but this did not happen late into the night to disturb my sleep. The sink in the washroom is a bit tricky to use, it feels like it should have been installed the other way around.

There should be clear directions on how to access the hotel from the parking garage. It was really simple, once we figured it out. however, that was after we had lugged our bags down to the end of one street, through the Aldstadt’s gate and down another street to the hotel. In addition, the lift was not working and we had to also lug our bags up the stairs. “Park on the red level, or take the proper lift to access the red level. That level’s exit will take you straight ahead to the hotel. of the lift you are at doesn’t access the red level, go across the garage to the lift on the other side”.

The hotel staff were extremely accommodating and helpful. The hotel was ideally located near the Munster and restaurants. The week we stayed (mid-June 2023) was unusually hot, but the staff provided a fan, and with the window open, we slept comfortably. We asked for a quite room and the what we got (floor 3, room 132 exceed our expectation). The shower is tiny, but we managed fine. I would stay again in heartbeat and would choose the same room again.

The hotel is centered right in the old town. A small clean room in a guest house down a lovely street. The room is not special in any way but perfect for just sleeping to stay in the center of Freiburg.

Great location, close to many shops, restaurants and bars. Within walking distance to everything we wanted to see. Parking is conveniently just steps away at a large lot and you get a discount through the hotel. The staff was so friendly, both check in (we were late and they waited for us) and check out. The room was spacious, clean, tastefully decorated. We liked this area of the Aldstadt - it's a little quieter, more quaint. Highly recommend!

Staff was very kind and solution oriented. I had to check in after check in times and they helped me. Room is wide and opportunities is enough. Hotel located at old town and location was perfect.

Temperature of the room is not cold but it is not enough for winter times. When you increased of scale of heating from 3 to 5 temperature didn't increase to 5.

The location was perfect! There is a parking garage located right next to the hotel which is super convenient! Rooms were exactly what we needed and expected for the price.

There is no coffee in the room - but you can get it in the breakfast room at no charge.
