EVERYTHING! We loved it. We had rented the Junior Suite and loved it. The breakfast was lush and had everything one could ask for! We went in the wintertime, and with the snow all around it was like a fairytale. On top of the hill overseeing the lake was amazing as well as the mountains on the side. Appreciated the Spa! and the Saunas. We also liked that the different buildings were connected and you had to walk to get around. We would like to highlight the hospitality of the staff as well.

Nothing to improve per se but just to be aware. The hotel offers amazing spa facilities with different Saunas. Which we enjoyed. There are also different areas where after the Sauna you can lie down and relax. One of them is in a more public space next to the pool. One of them is allocated in a "quiet/room area" If families are traveling with children and they use the indoor pool in the Spa area, the quiet room is not so quiet anymore :D We do not feel bothered by that at all but just for the sensitive ones among us to be aware of.

all the staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming and considerate, the location above the Tegernsee beautiful and the breakfast truly comprehensive and of excellent quality. EV stations in the garage even though some connection issues on the day, which were effectively resolved by reception staff.

while not an own impediment a lot of stairs with no obvious elevator solutions between floors, especially in the chateau and connection to main building which were needed on a rainy day

I really liked the spa facilities and the luxurious feeling. Room was comfy and the staff delivered to an exceptional and personalised degree. Bubbles for breakfast and the variety in the breakfast club was also very nice.

Nothing I can think of. I guess an ocean view from the room would be cooler, but nothing I expected. I was unsure of the "mobile phone" policy though in the silent relaxing room - as the signs on the door says "sush, no phone kind of sign/ no phone" ... and then several guests were on their phone constantly ... not a biggie, just what I think can be improved

Location, comfort, facilities. Our room 306 with lake view would have been 100 percent excellent, if it weren’t for the toilet combined with the bathtub.

There were some issues with Gastekarte and room key, that were reported to the room service and reception departments: after room cleaning above cards were missing in the room. The hotel administration should more carefully select and train personnel assigned to rooms cleaning.

the hotel lies in a hill overseeing the lake with hiking trails going in and out to the mountains from it. The Spa was great as well as the dining experience in their restaurant. We visited for our honeymoon and the staff left a very special detail in our room which was very much appreciated.

No A/C in the room, granted most of the time you do not need it during the hot summer days it would be nice to have a chilled sleep.

This was the best spa hotel we ever visited. The level of the facilitates were just mind blowing… The room was exceptional, we stayed in building Wallberg with lake view. The spa facilities were out of this world, with 6 saunas specially the panoramic one, the pool with open air exit and the relaxation room… The staff service was just amazing.

Location. Deluxe suite was beautiful. Scenery is gorgeous.

The dinner chef had a heavy hand with the salt. The receptionist was not so friendly and welcoming. The hotel seems understaffed and not quite the exceptional service one would expect from the daily rate and the star rating. It’s not our first stay so I was a little disappointed at the service and lack of warmth.

We loved our brief stay at Tegernsee! Its location is fabulous, as are the views from various parts of the property. It allowed us to tour the surrounding villages, enhancing our experience in this glorious area of Bavaria. Breakfast and dinner were inspired, with choices available at the former to satisfy any size appetite and taste, and preparation of the latter to please the most demanding gourmand. And then there's the wonderful staff -- friendly, accommodating, and clearly "at your service" with courtesy and gracious kindness.

The only thing that could have been better would have been a longer stay!

Breakfast & dinner was exceptional, high quality food and excellent service. Spa was a beautiful environment, but no cold plunge pool or outdoor hot spring. Views were amazing.

Spa staff were very inflexible when we arrived. We could not get a dinner reservation on the first night and had not been informed that this could be an issue when we booked. However, the reception booked us a lovely restaurant in a nearby town.

everything was excellent, we had a room in the old building above the reception with a balcony facing half the front and half the lake and was wonderful. spa facilities are excellent, food and wine selection in the restaurant also excellent. staff at the spa and reception, excellent. staff at breakfast, also excellent except one lady who had a frown on for all 3 of our breakfast. I think her name is Lisa P something…blonde, in her 20s probably. I was there with my wife and she never smiled at us, she s remove the plates and move the chairs as of the whole world was annoying her. other guests were also made feel uncomfortable by her. I hope I am getting her name right because I don’t want someone else to get kn trouble.But if she is so sour, she should not be in hospitality. In a hotel where every else qas so extremely friendly, she was The only slightly negative point of of our stay
