Nice hotel perfect for overnight stay next to train station. We especially liked the way it is decorated. The room was very nice but the bathroom very impractical

The lack of attention to details. Shower doors made cabin much too tight, soap in bathroom (which was up) never got replaced even though we asked, no english speaking tv channels etc. Felt as if management had lost the guest's perspective.

There was a friendly welcome at the entrance, and our check-in process was completed without any problems. It's a real monster of a location, as it's a 2-minute walk from a central station, there are many cafes, bars and restaurants nearby, and there's also a market open until late at night, 5 minutes away. Our room - contrary to the comments we read - was larger than we expected, including the bathroom! Its heating was quite sufficient even on the snowy days of January. Having a 24/7 reception is also an advantage, they helped us with every request. Although the area around the hotel looked a bit eerie, no problems were experienced. There are places on the bed where the springs loosen over time, but I won't deduct points for that. If I come to Hamburg again, it will definitely be the facility I choose!

As I said, the location of the hotel seems a bit uncanny, but this is just an impression. If you smoke in front of the door at night, there will be people asking for cigarettes, other than that there is nothing :))

Room is decent sized, on the small/budget side but good enough. Bathroom is small but the shower door opens inwards and is a bifolding two door thing it's awesome and seems to be typical in German hotels? I was pleasantly surprised. TV works well, internet works well. The area around the hotel felt pretty safe, it is a short walk to the train station which is the biggest benefit

Check in was slow and quite delayed as the room wasn't ready at the check in time. Staff was friendly as I had to use google translate back and forth. Not really any views from the room and you'd want to keep curtains closed for privacy anyway

at the reception some young but extremely friendly, kind and prepared guys (a real excellence!!) location: just outside the central station, no more than 100/150 meters

The price of water is excessive, there should be some free water in the room as a welcome The room was not very warm, probably because of the outside temperature which was -8 (it could have been heated a bit more for such a cold night)

Location is brilliant. Quiet street but just off Hamburg HBF, with access in seconds to trains, U stations and buses, or just walk through this lovely city

I had a single room, which I could fit into, and fortunately I didn’t bring a cat, as I couldn’t have swung it. It’s fine tho, bathroom and shower were great.

The Hotel was located less than a 5 minute walk from Hamburg main station.. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel and room was kept very clean.i will be back

Very comfortable beds, location a 2-3 min walk to the main train station, great food options nearby in Hamburg Hbf as well as nearby streets

shady area (steindamm) close by is best avoided at night but okay during the day, small bathroom, no coffee machine, cups or kettle which is a basic expectation at this price range

My stay was very comfortable. Rather smaller room, but very well equiped and thought thru, makingit verz cozy. Comfortable bed and perfecly enough space for a single traveler. Super location just a "minute" walk form the main train station. Thank you very much, enjoyed the stay.

The room was big enough for 3 people, beds were very comfortable. Although the choice of food wasn't huge, the breakfast was very tasty. The staff was very kind (especially the young receptionist who welcomed us). The location was in walking-distance from the Main Train Station (3 minutes) and the city center (there's no need to buy a ticket for a public transportation).

The carpet in our room wasn't vacuumed well enough. That wasn't disturbing that much but it might have been done better in order to make a better first impression. No hangers in the bathroom. Although the location was very good for sight-seeing, the surrounding area wasn't the most comfortable - there were lots of young people talking loud, playing music at night, many homeless people in the area of the Main Train Station.

1. Unpleasant staff (reception and cleaning staff). What I found really annoying of them is trying to get to my room two hours before the check out time (knocking two times of two different persons) wanting to clean the room. 2. Very small room (however, it's enough for a night or two)
