Very well located on a plaza near Hamburg Central Station. The plaza adjoined a 3-block “Restaurant Street” with all manner of cuisines available. Hotel owner and staff were exceptionally helpful and interesting. Room was quite large, fully rehabbed, totally clean. 14 foot high ceilings gave spacious feeling throughout. (I saw only my room, but ‘room map’ indicated that all room were fairly spacious.) It was an elevator building, always welcomed by travelers with luggage. Room electronics set-up was fine. Strong Wi-Fi, Many plugs well spaced in the room, including next to bed. Sizable desk in room (which I had requested). Large bathtub was especially welcome for this weary business traveler. Final bonus for business traveler: 1/2 block away was a small local but full service print shop.

- I didn't notice there was any WiFi, but then again I forgot to ask! - Bathroom quite small, though for the price this is expected. Generally nothing to complain about - it was great value for money

The contactless check in process worked great and I was glad about it because my train arrived two hours late and I got to the hotel shortly before midnight. It is an updated old property, but nicely appointed and pleasant. The bed was not the most comfortable, but certainly not the worst by a long shot. Very convenient to the train station with great access to the activities I had planned. Would definitely stay there again. The only really odd thing was I had to wait until after 9 am to pay the city hotel tax at the reception desk. Reception is an office with a curtained door and I had to poke around to find the person to meet to pay the tax. Other that that, no hitches at all. Great stay, nice place, perfect for traveling alone.

As above, finding someone to pay the hotel tax to, more comfortable bed. No other problems or concerns. I was very happy with the stay.

The location is very convenient. And the room and toilets were all very clean and well kept. We booked the room in the night around 11pm and by 11.30 pm we could get into the room. It was all very uncomplicated with picking up the key etc. Next day we met the hotel staff, they were very kind and nice people.

Would be better if they provided some coffee and sugar etc with cups as well in case we wanted to make something.

The location is good. The staff is very friendly and helpful. He gave us a upgrade from small double room to 3 people family room. The room is clean. The bed and the pillow are very comfortable. There is a contactless check in. 🌻 We would like to book one more night. However , the rooms are fully booked. We would like to stay here again if we visit here again. And I would recommend people to stay here. 🌞🌻😊

I loved this hotel, the rooms are amazingly big, they are clean and super nice decorated. We did the contact less check in, we just picked up our keys from the box and entered directly. They received us 2 hours early than the check in and also they did an upgrade to a better and bigger room. The location is amazing, it is 1 block away from the Hamburg HB, so we could go directly into our early train without problems on the logistics. Inside the HB you will find places to eat really late, so this is a plus too. And you have 2 blocks more the main street where you buy clothes and all. The beds are super comfortable and it was a nice temperature inside.

When I read the comments about this hotel I was really worried but I had ZERO problems with it. It is clean, the rooms are a little old but perfectly functional and nice decorated. There is someone cleaning everyday and asks you if you want the room cleaned. If you want you can ask for towels. I did not see a drunk outside, maybe because it was cold but still, I never felt unsafe or in danger. There was just normal people returning home.

I was mesmerized by how everything was so well thought. There was everything a traveler might need. I loved the atmosphere and it was so close to the Central Station of Hamburg which was extremely convenient for us. About the staff, they were very cheerful and kind. If i ever decide to visit Hamburg again Hotel Bee Fang would be my go to.

If you are looking for something nice, big, clean, near the station, restaurants, supermarkets, etc this is the best option, the person at the recepción is really nice and they help you with everything you need. Excelet experience!!! Mostly because we are a group of women traveling and we need to be on a safe place

Everything was perfect

Comfortable bed and quiet environment. People where respectful with common rooms. Good location as it was in walking distance from main train station. Also every day someone was picking up the trash and was tidying up the bed. Overall good experience.

The communication was a little slow in the start but they helped me eventually when I arrived at the door.

Fritz the owner was an amazing host! He told me all about the places to go in Hamburg in downtown. Also the location of the hotel is awesome because it's right in the heart of Hamburg and only a few blocks away from the main trainstation.

I liked the place, is it the most lavish, no, is it affordable, yes. Is it located in a good area, absolutely, right across the street is 3 restaurants and a grocery store, also if you go during the holidays they have a small Christmas market next to it. Great place overall!
